This local Kroger has a ton of fresh food all the time, fast lines, and great workers! It's a really great environment that just makes you feel good! They also have seasonal items all the time to fit your needs. 10/10 Highly recommend. read more

The pharmacy always has a long line to pick up prescriptions. I don't like the wall behind the produce dept. that blocks off the back 1/2 of the store and I'm not crazy about the short isles with the isle down the middle. I have a difficult time finding things. read more

Do not shop at this store. They care nothing about their customers. They have signs posted everywhere saying masks are required but when it comes to actually telling someone they are required to a person not wearing one, their customer service desk said they were not allowed to approach anyone and say anything. He said the manager could offer them one but they didn't have to wear it. He then shrugged his shoulders and said he wouldn't do anything. Then why have it posted on your doors? I know everyone doesn't take COVID seriously, but there are those that do. Be considerate and just wear a damn mask. And if your sick, STAY HOME! This is a very nice Kroger. Hence, it is in Prospect so I can't be too surprised. I would frequent this one more often if I lived closer, but only do so if I'm in the area. It's very clean and easy to maneuver around, so it shouldn't arise any issues for anyone. Most Krogers in general though are usually pretty nice. I typically shop at Trader Joe's, but will come here for groceries instead if I'm not around the St. Matthews area or I just need a quick trip. If you live in Prospect, it should be no shock that this is a great go-to for groceries. read more

This is the Mac Daddy of Krogers. Staff is friendly here. Always helpful. There is lots of selection, especially in those sections that are sparse in other locations: organic foods, health foods, gluten free options, kitchenware, etc. They also have a lot of non-grocery items. Huge sections of home goods, kitchenware, toys, office products, etc. The holiday section is literally two aisles long. Huge selection, huge store, great service. Great store! read more

This Kroger by far is the worst store and pharmacy I have ever been in. if I could give it a zero I would. The pharmacy is worse than CVS! and that's hard to believe. They refuse to answer the phone or provide any truthful answers to the public. I wish som would build another grocery and pharmacy chain right on top of that store. The Kroger in Prospect KY never fails to disappoint. I am 75 years old, spent $105.00 for 4 small bags of groceries and there was not even ONE cashier to check people out. ter service and customer service was terrible one of the managers was cussing at customers and other employees and the floor was nas and covered with bugs and I got a gallon of milk three times from there and it's been spoiled as I've gotten it and the managers don't h the other employees they just sit there and watch and do nothing to help when they see someone struggling the deli meats that I've gotten have smelled sour as soon as I've taken them home and the flowers are almost always dead after two days of me buying them if it was my choice I would suggest n one shop at this store because it's just terrible quality of employees and management and they need new management read more

Ask for Jared in the meat section. Dis bro goes above and beyond. Pounds the meat for you right there on the spot, let's you get optimal visuals on the effervescent salmon and catfish. Apparently he has fished all over the world. Dude knows his fish. And above all, he always stays true to the number pull system which for a guy like me, who has trust issues, is a big, big deal. read more

I really like this Kroger location. Honestly, it's probably the nicest Kroger I've ever visited. I've only been to this location once, but it was great. Fast friendly service, and I had no issues finding everything I needed easily. Kroger carries everything you could need from a grocery, along with lots of local Kentucky Proud products. They have a great selection of produce, a nice bakery, and lots of easy take-home dinner/snack options. And this Kroger is no exception. If you're in the area I would definitely recommend this location of Kroger for your grocery shopping needs. read more

Great store. It's huge, coming from California I have to say it is one of the biggest grocery stores I've ever been in. It seems to be run very well. On the two occasions I've shopped here so far, while visiting Prospect Kentucky, this store appears flawless. Shopping with my daughter who is new in town, we walked down isles and isles of neat, clean and well stock, well... isles. What a delight. The deli has a great selection of ready made foods. The bakery/bread department offers a wide variety of choices, being a big time bread fan, that's a big plus in my book. Ha. We have been greeted by the manager each time in and the service has been great. For being such a huge store, the folks here still provide that friendly and personable home-town feel. I have lived in Prospect for 15 years. All the years shopping at the only grocery store here, I have had to endure constant empty shelves of commonly used items. Two days before Thanksgiving, I went in to a store full of empty shelves.No chicken broth to be found anywhere ! Went to Holiday Manor where they had fully stocked shelves. I now shop there due to the fact that this store is poorly managed and I'm tired of the frustration of you always being out of items I use frequently. read more

I like this grocery - it's not too big and not too small. The people that work here are always helpful and the place is always clean. They are currently going through an expansion. Hopefully they will make their health foods section bigger. It is pretty small right now. read more

Very much over priced !!! Prices are higher at this particular Kroger than any other in the area. Holiday manor Kroger is less expensive. ( I heard it's because the rent is cheaper ). And it's also going to close per rumor). Since the remodel about two years ago the parking spaces are too tight!!' Can barely get your kids in and out of the car, and forget about trying to fit your grocery cart between vehicles trying to get to yours. It's near impossible! The employees in the deli are always so busy "working" they barely have time to wait on costumes. Thank God for the quick serve lunch meat thats already sliced in half pound serving for quick pick up. No one is ever in the actual bakery to ask questions to. Had to go behind the counter to pick up my own cake I ordered for a birthday party. This has happened twice. The cashiers are always nice and friendly , no complaints there. Although if you dare to complain to the front desk about how the deli will slice your lunch meat on a dirty slicer, Beware!!! They only have to clean those slicers once every hour. WOW!!!!!!!!!!!' Fueling the car, but the Credit card (Citi) declined. The Citi Bank said the card has no problem, but the Kroger pump reader is not 'safe'. The Citi also say that if the card was used inside the store, it will be OK, but not at outside pump. Call Kroger office and they seems not very interested. read more

Fantastic place to shop. Clean isles, well stocked shelves, pleasant lighting, fresh produce, a world of cheeses, helpful and willing staff and to top it off top notch pharmacy staff. Not a drinker but the wine shop helps with gift suggestions. Don't mind spending a few dollars extra instead of shopping at lack luster Costco or shabby Walmart. Haven't tried the online shopping @ kroger.com as walking in the store is an experience in itself read more
