They also have a sushi bar near the entrance with staff making various fresh rolls. Friendly store associates are helpful and constantly restocking, so there is plenty of availability. Be sure to check out their weekly ads, lots of good deals. It is usually pretty crowded with customers in store and in the parking lot, best to shop early in the mornings. Almost everyone has full carts but there are many registers open with efficient cashiers, so the lines move fast. There are store associates that help you find and point you to the shortest check out line too. Clean, organized, and spacious store with a warehouse atmosphere. Quality grocery and household items. All in all, I got 12 items for just under $38. Came home and did a quick price comparison of those same products at other grocers. HEB would have been $11 more and Kroger, $18 more. Granted Blue Bell goes on sale often and I just hit the jackpot at Foodtown. I've never seen produce like they have. Just gorgeous! Three large cucumbers for $1. Three bunches of large green onions, $1. Next time I make any Mexican food, I am definitely going to Foodtown for their vast selection of products. At first glance, it fits the neighborhood vibe: potholes in the parking lot, metal enclosures around vending machines, and security guards making their rounds. But step inside and it's a different story: the store is clean, the produce is fresh, the deals are abundant, and the staff is nice. Sometimes that's all we can ask for in a grocery store. While their app will advertise certain deals, I've noticed that there are also store-specific deals that are only available in-house. So even with the rising costs of different goods (#1), there are some stackable coupons that ease the sticker shock. The floral selection isn't much to look at, but the produce section is always well stoked and maintained. Even the bathrooms are surprisingly clean. Even though I'm not local to the neighborhood, I've come here enough and haven't ever experienced any crowds. Lines aren't much of a thing and I hope it stays that way. The summer flower pots look absolutely amazing. They had a mini rose pot for under $5. Got the car registration renewed at the Services desk. That is one more thing that can be done at HEB. Parking- that was tricky. There is plenty parking not that, something about the directions to park is weird and compact. Its not free flowing and spacious and for a driving 'expert' like me - a little challenging.... lol... well, that won't stop me from going there again if I need to.... like Vegan Omega 3 comes back in stock...!

As I walked back to my car, I looked up and noticed a curbside employee standing there, leaning on a cart instead of helping the coworker who was actually loading another customer's groceries. She was watching me with a smile that made me feel uncomfortable. I was just minding my own business. I simply said, "Bye!" because I didn't know what else to say. As I got into my car, she and the other employee laughed together. I can't say for certain what they were laughing about, but after the way the interaction felt, it left me feeling embarrassed and unwelcome. As a Black woman, I couldn't ignore how uncomfortable it felt to have two white female employees standing there watching me while I was simply going about my business. I have no way of knowing what they were thinking or laughing about, but after the interaction, I left feeling singled out and judged. In the world we live in today, those dynamics matter, and perception matters in customer service. Every customer deserves to feel respected and welcome. Meanwhile, the Black male curbside employee who brought me my order was working hard, going back and forth to help customers, while the two white female employees seemed to have plenty of time to stand around. Seeing one employee focused on serving customers while the others appeared more interested in watching me only added to my frustration. I appreciate employees who take pride in their work, and I wish everyone at this location demonstrated that same level of professionalism and respect. This experience is frustrating because it's not just about this one interaction. I've also received expired and damaged items from this location on more than one occasion. The convenience of curbside shopping is great, but when you combine product quality issues with poor customer service, it becomes a headache instead of a convenience. I've actually driven to the Sienna H-E-B because the customer service there has been noticeably better. I'm not someone who only leaves negative reviews. I also make a point to recognize great employees and businesses when they deserve it. I just hope this location takes customer feedback seriously because no one should leave feeling uncomfortable after simply picking up their groceries. H-E-B has built its reputation on taking care of Texans, and I hope this location reflects those values by ensuring every customer is treated with professionalism, courtesy, and respect.

No Sale! This was not my beat visit here being that,…read more I have never had a poor shopping, food or anything experience with what I have purchased from Sprouts over the years. It's alway a pleasant atmosphere and the music almost makes it therapeutic. Although, this was the one time that my visit was not as pleasant. After waiting in line for an issue with a customer that held up the line and observing at least 3 shoppers get checked out in another line. Finally one of the clerks opened another line, however they did not bother to take the next in line and of course there was a line rush. So I ended not making a purchase. I would strongly suggest that when a new line has to be opened that the courtesy of those that have been waiting are provided service first. I only new the line was opening because of the clerk opening on the other side saying they will take next in line after they were ready. I don't expect the shoppers to always be considerate, however I would appreciate it from the market. Maybe getting the attention of this waiting first would have been better. This may have been a one off. Let's see on the next visit!

Here for work, so needed to grab a few items to stock up my temporary digs. I did have a few questions, since this Whole Foods is laid out a little differently. There was no one to ask since the checkout, deli, seafood, etc staff were working with customers. Each area seemed to only have one staff member. When I approached the cash registers, only one register was staffed. There is no self check out here. The cashier seemed really worn out, and I don't blame her. Whole Foods is a successful corporation that can easily hire and keep adequate staff. Maybe this was a one-off for this location. Next time I'm in town, I'll go to the Montrose location. There is good sized parking lot in front of the store.
