From 5 to 1…read more.. Jungle Jim's East has introduced us to countless foods and products that we likely never would have discovered otherwise. For many years, our weekly routine was to stop at Sam's Club for staples, then head straight to Jungle Jim's. We'd grab a beer, leisurely wander the aisles, pick up the rest of our grocery list, and almost always leave with a few unexpected treasures. Unfortunately, over the past several months we've noticed a steady decline in the overall shopping experience. Prices have increased noticeably, the quality and consistency of the produce department no longer seem to be what they once were, and many everyday grocery items have disappeared from the shelves. These aren't obscure products, but rather common items that many shoppers regularly purchase. After asking about the changes, a checkout clerk confirmed that Jungle Jim's is intentionally shifting away from being a traditional grocery store and focusing more heavily on its international market offerings. While we understand and respect that business decision, it no longer aligns with the reason we originally shopped there. What made Jungle Jim's special for us was the combination of unique international products and the ability to complete most of our regular grocery shopping in the same trip. As that balance has changed, we've found ourselves making additional stops elsewhere to find basic items, often at better prices. As a result, we've decided to move most of our grocery shopping back to Kroger. We'll still visit Jungle Jim's occasionally for specialty and international products, but sadly it is no longer our primary grocery destination. We sincerely hope management reconsiders the direction of the store, because we'd love to return to the Jungle Jim's experience that made us loyal customers for so many years.

It is decently organized, stocked, and clean. They have a larger garden/seasonal center than most. During this stay at home time, I have turned to them for their Grocery order online, drive up pickup service. It is free, their inventory is mostly up to date, and they offer perishable and non perishable items. I tried this for the first time a few weeks ago at a different location, but in the past several weeks I was going to be in this area so I chose this store to see if it went as smoothly. It went just as well here each time. To order drive up, It is easiest to download the app, although you may use your computer too. Search through items, add them to your cart, then choose a pickup time window. Right now, despite how busy this service is, I was still able to get second day scheduling. You have until 12hrs prior to your pickup window to add or delete items. Once the order is picked, you ahead of time receive a notification with any items out of stock as well as substitutions if you have allowed those. Always choose the sub, because they will usually give you a more expensive sub at no extra charge. If you do not like the substitution you can decline it and receive a credit. Unfortunately you cannot decline the sub until at the store. When you arrive if you have the app, you can use it to check in. If you do not wish to get the app, there is a phone number listed to call for check in. My order has been brought out and loaded into the car within 5 mins each visit. Out of all my items, only 2 were out of stock each time and Ive received subs that were more than twice the cost (for no extra charge)! I obviously accepted them! I did not have to sign as they offered to sign for me to keep the transactions contactless. The ladies that bring out the orders are so sweet, despite the circumstances. They said theyve been really busy and shorthanded. I thanked them for their service! Save yourself the headache disaster at Kroger pickup and do Walmart instead!

Hi, Walmart wanna-be mechanic here. Before I get started I wanna say that the mechanics for store…read morenumber 5499 are phenomenal, the issue lies with the managers and CEO's. in my personal and professional opinion I say do not take your car here to get worked on, Walmart doesn't know a thing about keeping cars healthy. All the torque wrenches need calibrated (which they neglect to do), any oil that winds up on the floor just gets pushed down the floor drains. God forbid if you have a messed up stud cause they will turn you away and even have you do half the work yourself instead of simply fixing the stud, got brake issues? Trouble stopping the car? They'll have you turn around and DRIVE the vehicle elsewhere DESPITE THE MAJOR SAFETY CONCERNS, they may have good prices but is that really more important than you or your families safety? They keep trying to run a shop like a retail store and that is why Walmart will for sure wind up k*lling a family of four if not more due to the fact that they neglect to properly work on cars. I say fire the managers and the CEO's and shut down walmarts auto care centers.

Right when you walk in, they usually have a plant section that's always well maintained and fun to browse. They also sometimes have a rotating dollar section at the entrance where you can find some really great deals. I'm always surprised by how good their book selection is. They carry so many bestsellers, coloring books, and just a wide range of options that you don't usually expect from a store like this. Their grocery section is also really great. I especially love their frozen section because they have a lot of vegetarian options and some unique items you can't always find at other stores. Their produce is consistently fresh, and they also have a great alcohol section with a wide variety of wines and other options. One of my favorite things is the random clearance areas scattered throughout the store. I've found everything from discounted wine to fun miscellaneous items. There's also a great selection of pantry staples and shelf items, with more variety than you'd expect, so you can usually find something a little different at a good price. Their clothing section is another highlight, with really good prices on both basics and name brand items. They also carry local sports apparel for cheap, like Cincinnati Reds gear, which is a nice touch. The home goods section can be a little hit or miss style-wise, but the prices are great, and I've found some really good kitchen items there. They also have a large seasonal section that rotates throughout the year with outdoor decor, sports equipment in the summer, and holiday decorations in the winter. Overall, this is one of those stores where you can go for just about anything. They even have a small craft section, which I do wish was a bit bigger, but it's still a nice bonus. Definitely a great spot if you want variety, good prices, and a surprisingly enjoyable shopping experience.

This store is huge.. lots of space which is nice because when it's busy, there enough room for everyone without having to squeeze through the isles. It's quite clean as well which is nice. Although this grocery store is more expensive than an Aldi or Walmart - they have better quality items. I buy my fruit produce here occasionally and they're always good. They have great sales on blueberries in the summer and they're sweet. Lastly I like that if you sign up for their perks - you accumulate points in which you can use in the store. I've saved a couple of dollars with my points and received some free stuff too!
