I really hate grocery store chains that make you have a membership card to get the sale price. I went to self checkout. I asked the attendant about the discount. The would not even swipe a courtesy card. I'm here from out of town. I don't give a crap about the gas points on my $30 purchase. That should have been $25. I'll shop at the store once. 2nd time I went to pick up my click list and they gave my groceries to someone else. talked to the manager - which was worthless.... No apology. No "sorry, here is a gift card for your troubles". Simply said, "I don't know what you want me to do?" Worst customer service ever. read more

Great store. The inside is not terribly dirty like many other krogers. All spaces are roomy enough I don't feel like I'm being squished between everyone. But is is very busy 3-7. They have clothing, outdoor, floral, starbucks, great customer service desk and the employees are usually quite helpful. read more

I cannot believe how rude the employees are here. You are here to provide a service. The deli clerk, which I couldn't even see a name tag on was extremely rude. She yelled out for next number and when I walked up she gave a huge sigh of annoyance, grabbed her note pad and asked rudely what she could get for me. Not once making eye contact, no smile, no "okay just give me a minute to work on that".....just anything else? I responded no and she walked away. She then went to slice deli meat with a smile only when she was chatting with her coworker. She could show half that enthusiasm to the people that are here shopping. At checkout another inconvenience, the lack of lines open. I spent more time in line, than the time it took to pick up the 40 items in my cart. Cashiers look over worked and not friendly as well. Dang, I wish we had a Kroger like this in Indianapolis. This one is N I C E. I'm used to a simple Kroger where there's only groceries and maybe an aisle of office supplies and pet supplies. This one takes grocery store to the next level. It's filled with so much more than just food/grocery items. It has a Starbucks inside (please don't write a review for the Starbucks on here as it's not the same business); a pharmacy; tons and tons of home goods; and more! A suggestion for the Kroger company/staff: - the Kroger app aisle locations didn't match up (i.e. I was looking for quinoa and it says aisle 12 on the app but it's actually in aisle 3); and Reason for the 4 instead of 5 stars is that this place gets very, very busy. I know people that travel by their Kroger 5 minutes from their place to go to this one, so be prepared for long lines and waiting time and some times vicious shoppers. How in the world could a rat be running around in the front of the store under the check our lines at 10:30 at night?!? Tues .February 25, 2020 my husband was going through the check out and a rat went under his cart in between the lines ! To his dismay, the clerk was nonchalant and unapologetic! They had groceries a plenty--I mean, it is a really big Kroger. Clean bathrooms. Lots of pretty flowers in the floral department--love gladiola season--and most importantly, a Starbucks inside. The parking lot was packed--maybe because it was a Friday late afternoon. All looked fine, but did not grocery shop here. read more

The Kroger is nice in size and the it's always neat and orderly. The problem with it being the only super store in Harrison and the click-list is that the selfs are always empty as well as anytime that I needed to get formula it would take them 25 minutes to come unlock it. If they could figure out a way to keep the selfs stocked then it would be a wonder Kroger. read more

We have been coming here since the store first opened. In the last couple of months I have seen a down hill spiral. For instance came today, Memorial Day shopping, rib eye steaks on sale not one on the shelf. Many sale items with none on the shelf, this is an old Meijer trick and it ticks me off. This keeps happening I will head over to Remkes, higher prices and all. They are never out of stock on sale items and have a much better variety of product. We spend around $500 per month here, if this continues bye, bye. As I said in previous post, one more time and we were gone from this store. Went there today and again the out of stocks were out of control. This a major shopping week with the 4th of July and they were out of soooo much. So good bye we will not be coming back into this store ever again. I know it's just one customer and Kroger is very big, but they keep this up more and more customers will be gong somewhere else to spend their hard earned dollars... Bye bye.... read more

Great Kroger! Huge store. Very busy which is typical for an area without many options. Recent remodel is nice, they just added clothing which seems nice. Some nicer brands like Carhardt and Fila, etc. Only reason I'm not leaving 4 stars is because I find some of the employees, especially the cashiers very rude at times. read more

Great looking store. Did not come across the Starbucks until today where I had to wait on the bar for more than a few minutes while a young man with blonde hair tattoos sitting in the cafe area in the back was sitting on his butt ignorantly not paying attention to the bar or customers eating food instead while his coworker did all the work. The wait times were ridiculous but the store was surprisingly clean and all the other employees were helpful. read more

I have shopped at this Kroger for many years and have recently switched to the colerain Kroger. This is one of the worst stores I have been in and they continuously disappoint. Shelves are bare more often than not. Mangers, especially Maria Larosa, are extremely rude and disrespectful to not only customers but the employees as well while other customers are watching. I will now be driving an extra 20 minutes out of my way to avoid this horrible store. read more

I moved to the Harrison area about 8 months ago, I used to shop at the Kroger in Harpers Point and was always pleased with the store. The Harrison store is awful and has been every time I shop there. The store is poorly stocked every time I'm there, the lines for checkout are always backed up. I don't understand what the problem is other than poor management. Why are they always poorly stocked, we almost always can't get something because they are out of it. These are common things like bread, half and half and such. Please address this with the manager and try to make this store as nice as the other locations. There is no excuse for such a poorly run store. It is the only Kroger in the area and should represent the finest in what the Kroger brand is. read more

I called Kroger Pharmacy over this past weekend to have my seizure medication re-filled. I went to pick it up and they only had enough for 4 days. They assured me the rest would be ready the following day. No phone call, no text and when I went to pick it up no medicine. I asked to speak to a manager and the girl that answered the phone asked "what's the problem". The problem? . The manager said my meds were on back order? I basically had to beg her to call other pharmacies to see if they had any in stock . They found the medicine at another Kroger but didn't bother to call and tell me which one. Kroger pharmacy is terrible and I plan on switching pharmacies permanently. If there was a less than 1 star that could explain my overall experience it would be way less than 1 star. read more

Although the food here is excellent, the store is poorly managed when it comes to the staffing. The attendant from the self check out is always missing whenever you need them to enter a code in during your check out. After waiting forever, I switched to the 15 items or less line, only to have the clerk chat for 15 minutes with the customer in front of me. This is a common occurrence. The staff have no concept that anyone might prefer to check out quickly rather than listen to them chat about their children for 15 minutes. And what is the point of having self check out if there is no one there to resolve issues like the kiosk rebooting after it has scanned your credit card. Very poorly managed. read more

I had a such a negative experience here yesterday (around 4pm) that it's 4am and I am still thinking about it. Went through the self checkout and Pam was extremely rude and downright nasty. She was clearly overwhelmed by all the malfunctioning machines, but instead of helping clear the errors in a friendly way, she was snippy and aggressive. When our machine errored for the second time, I said to my dad in a completely neutral way that I wasn't sure why it was not working (he hadn't wanted to self checkout, but the normal lines were very long and I talked him into it). Pam overhead my comment and proceeded to very nastily and loudly holler from a nearby machine that I needed to learn some patience. Excuse me, but Pam, it is your job to help customers, not lecture us. I would highly suggest some retraining or giving Pam additional help, because she is not well-equipped for her current position. It was really upsetting to go in for dinner and end up in a confrontation with your employee. Shame on you Pam, and shame on you Kroger for letting employees abuse your customers in an otherwise very nice store. read more

This was the first time that I have used the Check List. The first hurdle was how to pay. At this time, it is not possible to pay on line before the groceries can be picked up. This is an inconvenience for someone who is picking up groceries for another person like an elderly shut in. The lady at the customer service desk was very uncaring and the manager didn't come and help either. The only people who were helpful and caring was the manager and the workers in the check list. The two employees that helped us with loading the groceries were very helpful and courteous. read more
