From an outsiders perspective (New York) this is a solid grocery store. It's easily enough to find what you need on your first visit. Staff is friendly. I like that there were some local brands I hadn't had before (specifically some local sausages and brats).

We stopped in here for a few items while we were in the Florence area. We picked up some snacks and drinks and a few other things and this like most Kroger's was solid option. They had everything we needed I had a huge scan so we can get in and out quickly and he got the job done

Restrooms by the deli are atrocious. No working soap dispenser and only one working sink. Do better Kroger!

Kroger Kroger Kroger. The 90's Kroger that was better managed would love to have a word with you. Not even sure where to start here. Let's begin with the price gouging going around company wide on all products. When the COVID shutdowns were going on the excuse was "issues with the supply chain". Fair enough, I guess. But that issue has been resolved. And the prices are ever higher. And keep going up and up and UP! Don't even think about buying meat here. There are so many other places you can visit that do not price gouge their meat prices (not as much as Kroger anyways). The amount of unsold meat going to waste due to price gouging must be enormous. Prices keep going up, not down. Guess the executives need the funds to pay for their fifth yachts or something. Corporate greed is ruining Kroger. On to the bathrooms... OMG. Does anyone ever clean these? This is not the only location with this issue (Looking at you Mt Zion Rd and Union KY). I get you want to under staff your stores to increase corporate profits, but taking shortcuts with less staffing resulting in filthy restrooms is no excuse. Does the Health Dept need to be notified of the unsanitary conditions in your restrooms? I get you don't want to pay your people a fair wage (can't cut into corporate profits now, can we?) but if the staffing issues are not intentional, then Pay Your People More and hire more staff. Kroger 1990's: Awesome place to work and shop (yes, I worked for Kroger in the 1990's) Kroger Now: Corporate Greed Price Gouging Unsanitary bathrooms Short Staffing Low wages Time to boycott this UnAmerican company or has our country gone down the hill so much that the above negatives are the new norms? Only time will tell.

    Good price on apples today

Kroger mall rd was one of the busiest in the Boone county area. I shop here whenever I'm in the area since they seemed to stock their produce more often, and the sale items are still available. Starbucks is also located inside the store next to the bathroom. I really want to rate the store 5/5, but the bathrooms seemed to be neglected- I won't even describe what I've seen, but the management needs to have a regular cleanup in their facilities since it generates high traffic regularly. I also like this store because of the more open registers for faster checkout.

Typical torn up grocery cart wheel. Very hard to push through store.

They turned half the parking lot into Pickup area only parking and EV charging stations which are hardly ever filled. They've closed the garden entrance pushing even more crowds to the already crowded front end. Dirty dusty shelves have been pushed around everywhere with items halfway down the aisles where they should be, usually damaged. It's downright dangerous some of the things that are laying around that they have clearance tags on, broken glass light bulbs and mirrors shattered near what used to be the Auto center. Everyone knows Walmart attracts some real interesting characters but I've never felt unsafe shopping here until recently. This place has turned into some sort of hunting ground for sketchy unsavory types coming from the airport. Groups 6-10 people deep that never shop or browse (or even pretend to) will loiter around blocking aisles and pretend not to understand you if you say excuse me. They circle around the same aisle when someone is alone in one and start following and openly gesture at strangers' purses and to each other. Between them and the families also 6-10 people deep that scream and holler at each other while their kids run rampant around the store, it's not surprising the People of Walmart site exists. If Walmart is trying to get rid of brick and mortar locations for Pickup only, this is the location they should close first.

I'm from AZ so Mexican food is a must and I'm cooking it more at home now that I've moved here. The butcher was impatient and not super helpful but I got what I needed and the cashier was very sweet. I love the spice aisle. I'll definitely be back to browse those to make a good enchilada sauce. I wish they had a few more marinated meat options but overall I'm happy with the meat selection. I look forward to trying the others for tacos, burritos and anything else to curb my Mexican food addiction. The price was also decent for what you get. I'll be back real soon!

But watch out, at peak times certain things like avocados fly out the door fast. You can also find somewhat rare produce like chayote and more well known like cactus, cactus fruit, and Calamondin Limes (this time of year right now). I also love it because they have tons of cuts of meat and the fresh peppers are always cheap. Stop in and surprise yourself with good meat that's fresh and affordable and some other great finds. The only thing I was a little disappointed with, you can only buy a VERY large can of hominy (any kind) no small cans here. I'm speaking restaurant size. I love making pozole but even that may be too much for me. Though technically hominy freezes well and I could recan it into smaller portions. So I may go back and nab some up. I see they also do prepare food but haven't gotten any of that myself. So not sure how to order that, but I never spend more than 15 minutes in the grocery. Anyway, you won't be let down, it's a great find! Oh and to help you find it on dream street, it's across from Chipotle's. Which I do hear that particular Chipotle's isn't very good, just an FYI.
