**For Kroger pick-up specifically** Right now, I'm focusing on doing what is most convenient for me, and that includes picking up my groceries. It's an interesting combination, as I tend to be more type A when it comes to grocery shopping. However, I am willing to put my trust in a stranger to carefully choose the items I will be eating. Standing ovation for Kroger pick-up! For the past few months, I just so happen to have the same woman as my shopper, and she is phenomenal! Plus, she is quick and always ahead of schedule. The items I receive are always in great condition, and everything is managed properly. read more

Worst shopping experience in Nora. The last 4 times I've gone shopping here I have had my items charged more than what they are advertised. Then their customer services takes so long to fix their mistake. Always double check your receipt here, you're being overcharged. read more

I have shopped at this Kroger multiple times and sometimes it can be hit or miss. What I mean by that at times they do not have items I may need so I end up having to go elsewhere. The workers are always smiling and helpful. They will answer and questions you may have. I haven't been disappointed with of the items I have purchased here. I love shopping at Kroger due to Kroger plus card that gives you discounts off your purchase at times if the item is on sale. I love scanning my card at the end to see the total price change. The store is organized and clean. read more

Kroger - Grocery Near Me - Indianapolis, Indiana

In my 50 years of shopping different Kroger's, this particular location (Nora/ Indy) is consistently the worst experience I have ever had at Kroger. Lay-out is DISMAL. Cotton ear swabs: near cotton puffs used to remove makeup? No. With baby items? No. Near ear care items? No after circling the store I gave up. Chanced on them filling TWO end caps facing a back wall across from toothbrushes. Only one brand option with lousy reviews. Prepackaged salads? FOUR different locations in produce. Nowhere near each other, so can't compare, and no dupes. So if you need to compare them? No way to do that. Taco seasoning? Found one brand with one envelope left. No other Mexican options. Some of the most common items have so little shelf space dedicated to them that they are often empty (like bread? Really?) Cheeses are in FOUR locations. While many items have only one brand option and minimal shelf, others are given waaay too many locations (I found frozen chipotle salmon in FOUR locations today but never found basmati rice. ONE brand of jasmine rice in mammoth bag, NO other rice. No rice? My back is killing me, I am missing things I need to complete ten different dinner options, and never found 8 items on my list out of 35, so I can't believe I am contemplating this, but I may switch to Aldi's. Aldi's? Really? Have you seen their meat and produce sections? Nearly every aisle was blocked with carts abandoned from re-shelving, so we couldn't get around. Most employees wandering down aisles on their cells, expecting us to move for them. If I have to squeeze aside to avoid the automated inventory machine, which is obviously programmed to travel down the middle of the aisles, then i may just take a hammer to it. Employees trying to re-shelve seemed to be struggling with lay-out as much as me. And after four months of ridiculously incompetent check-out clerks, twice having self-check as the only option with no supervisor in site, twice waiting for them to tell each other their weekend plans while the line grows longer, I finally had a good one today! Hurray! But she was on loan from another store. Hey, i like most Private Selection options... maybe Aldi's will start carrying them. read more

I went to customer service about 2:45 pm. I was trying to pay a utility bill. There was no one in customer service. I asked one of the cashiers and was told to come back at 4 pm. So I got a cart full of groceries. Went back to customer service and got in line. It never moved for 45 minutes. I told the clerk I was leaving my cart and would not be back. That the staff could unload. This is the second time I had an unacceptable issue with their customer service. Kroger used to be clean, good service and now it's isn't. read more

This Kroger has gotten better in the last couple of years. Several years ago, this location was a hard 2.5 stars, but now it's a solid 3.5 (although Yelp doesn't allow for half-stars, so I'm giving it four). The produce and bakery section has been completely redone, and it's a lot more open and inviting. I can usually find everything that I need at this location, plus a few random items that I don't usually see at my regular grocery store. The wine and beer selection is decent and organized. There is also a refrigerated case with chilled wine. If you're looking for the Redbox box, it's outside! It's kind of nice actually -- you can just pull up to the curb and get your movie quickly without having to step inside the store. This Kroger also has a gas station in the same parking lot, so you can get discounted gas when you enter your Kroger card number. read more

This is the worst Kroger I have been to for grocery shopping. The self checkout lines are a huge mess, and the check out line was a disaster. The cashier Tatanya was about to pass out at her register and was rude. She did not demonstrate excellent customer service. I come here to shop because it is close to where I live, but never again. The store is very disorganized and appears to be very short staffed every time I come on to shop. The self checkout lines are a mad house and do not work properly. It is a headache to check out through these self checkout lines because the items never scan the way you want them to. The food selection is very minimal and you can never find what you are looking for in the store. The ambiance is not inviting to the customer, and it is not structured properly to locate what you want throughout the store. Stay far far away from this Kroger! You will not have a pleasant shopping experience. read more

This is a relatively small Kroger. They have everything you need but it's doesn't have the "extras" I've come to expect from Kroger. Also when I was purchasing an item from the pharmacy area it was blocked. Come to find out it was recalled OTC pain meds. The checkout attendant asked me to show her where it was and pulled everything from the shelves. I applaud her sense of urgency and thoroughness but I also wonder why management didn't have it pulled proactively. read more

Woof. The customer service here is deplorable. Went in to get a money order and a lottery ticket. The person behind the counter was talking to (what I assume was) another worker on the other side of the counter when he saw me get in line and rudely said 'I'm closed.' Then another lady behind the counter says something to me but I can't hear her from behind the giant piece of glass separating the counter and the line. I think she is saying she can help me?? So I say 'I need a money order'. Then she yells something at me. Again, can't hear. I have to walk around to the end of the counter to hear her. She says rudely, 'We're closed'. Ok... yes, the guy said that too. I ask if there's a machine to get a lottery ticket. She goes on to say that they are too busy to sell me a money order and they aren't trained on the machine that generates lottery tickets. OK, UM THEN WHAT THE F*** ARE TWO EMPLOYEES (and possible third) DOING BEHIND THE SERVICE DESK IF YOU ARE TOO BUSY??? There is a reason I never shop at Kro-ghetto. read more

This Kroger is one of the dirtiest stores I have ever been in. Trash all over the the front of the store outside. Trash all over inside the vestibule. Aisles littered with boxes. The company really needs to look into how this location is ran. Even with a lack of employees there is no reason to look like a dump. read more

Good selection, great service. Bakery is tops as well as fresh salads. Just not enough stores left.

I come to this Kroger occasionally when I need a few items and I'm parking in their lot to run or walk the Monon. It's convenient, and I figure on,y fair since I am using the parking lot! It's fine for the basics, but it is a small store, so selection is more limited than other locations in all areas (e.g produce, cereal, greeting cards). The self check outs are usually pretty fast, but do keep an eye on them...I had one item (produce) that rang up twice and no one was at customer service to help straighten it out. I opted to not spend a lot of time hunting someone down over a few dollars. Anyway, I'll continue to pop in periodically when I need a few things post run! read more

This would not be my go to Kroger simply because of how inconvenient it can be to get to during peak hours if you're headed west. Traffic is pretty heavy around the Nora neighborhood and forget it, if you need to turn left out of this store. The layout of the store is also different whereas the entrance forces you to walk around the store to get to checkout, it offers a narrow path to the checkout lanes from the floral department (kind of like a horseshoe). Maybe it's just me that notices that but when you're trying to get in and out and grab a couple of items, it gets a bit wild. They do have some nice cheese selections with the addition of Murray's Cheese. read more

They are selling mini pies that are a total ripoff. They do not contain actual fruit. it is a paste. STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!

I really can't believe on a Saturday there was only 1 lane open. Self check out lane was so long I had someone stand in line for me and went and grabbed the few items that I needed. After a few minutes an announcement was made calling for available cashiers. After standing in self check out for awhile I saw a manager open up a lane. Self check out is not my favorite thing to do. I'm not employed at Kroger's or any store that has self check out and when you have customers with a full cart checking out in self check out the experience is horrible. The rep that is standing there to help all customers spends most of her time with that one person. Hopefully today was just a bad day cause that experience just rock my world. read more

This place has the most rude employees. Called to ask what time their pharmacy would close and was hung up on. Not even close to good customer service. I'd rather spend my money and time elsewhere. Try hiring people who actually know how to talk to customers. Thanks read more

Grabbed some groceries on my lunch and surprisingly the store was not chaotic, and was also very well stocked. Was easy to navigate around, and had plenty of things on the shelves. I absolutely love this Kroger location and that it is a small neighborhood market location. Unfortunately there have been some changes over the past few years that have changed my opinion on this location. After the Marsh across the street closed Kroger made the shelving taller, and closed in the center aisle to create more shelf space making the store more crowded and harder to navigate. It also seems like the aisles got smaller. It also seems like everytime I come into the store the produce section is in constant state of despair. Bins are empty, or what's there is going bad. The bread section is also pretty well picked through. It appears they are having delivery/stocking problems and I always have to go to a second store to get my shopping done. read more

I want to love this store, really I do. The location is great and it has a convenient gas station but no. Just no. Produce is always questionable at best & the layout is just AWFUL but the employees are great - that's the only reason I come back. Seriously Kroger, please fix the staggered & scattered layout. PLEASE?! read more

I would give it 5 stars but they seem to be out of some items I buy ALL the time. I have to resort going to another Kroger out of my way or Meijer. Every staff member or vendor I spoke to today was so nice and it is refreshing not having to walk more than a few feet away to get assistance! I shop almost EXCLUSIVELY at Kroger to utilize my gas points to the fullest! I did notice Speedway gas, Shell and Market District have seen the value in discounts in gas and have started their own programs. Kroger has a great reward system but I do have one complaint about it... if I do not use my points from last month, I have till end of next month to use it they expire.. so here is my gripe...if I shop more in the new month... I can only access my current month's gas points and have to use up BEFORE using past month's points! That really sucks because I probably visit Kroger 3-5 times a month! So be aware... points do not combine.. read more

We were here two weeks ago. I thought that the produce was fairly well stocked. It seemed like most of the offerings were at the Kroger standard. Checkout took longer than anticipated. I don't think it was that they were short staffed - it seemed like the cashiers were moving to other registers to help out with miscellaneous tasks. It would have been nice if checkout was a little more organized. read more

I have tried so hard to give this store multiple chances to redeem themselves for foul up after foul up. I just don't have the time to keep going in every time I do a pick up order. (Before anyone reading says, "why don't you just pick up your groceries." My reply is if they offer a service, they need to give the Service with pride and fullest effort.) Items are often missing yet I still get charged for it. When I call to talk with someone, they're too busy to talk. Customer service can't handle the situation because "clicklist is a separate entity," as always claim, when I go in and wait 15-30 minutes to talk to someone. But the Clicklist dept is too busy to handle mistakes. My reviews of my service and requests for contact go unanswered when they send me a text to review each visit. If Kroger is only interested in the good reviews, they need to only give good service. Could someone from this store PLEASE just contact me and apologize (sincerely) for the bad service and missed items (aka lost money, lost time) I've experienced the past several years? If you can't find me, check at one of your competitors in the area. read more

This Kroger is a perfect stop for your basic every day needs. They isles are stocked and everything looks clean and new. They have samplers handing out small servings and coupons, which is a nice perk! The location is pretty good as well as the parking lot and staff. I have come across one employee who was moving a portable small end cap. She was dragging two across the floor a pretty long distance and was making a loud "cat nails on the chalkboard" sound. I am sure it gave a few people the chills or a headache. She looked at me and said sorry. What got me is that she continued to do it. She could have just easily picked up the 5 lb end cap one at a time with out any issue. It just is upsetting when this store is pretty nice but then it seems like the employees don't care about their job or how they present themselves. I am happy to go back. I hope the experiences only get better! read more

Kroger - The fresh produce area! It looks pretty good doesn't it?!? - Grocery Near Me - Indianapolis, Indiana

I generally like Kroger and I appreciate that they're finally re-modeling nearly all of their stores . However the lay out of the isles is incredibly irritating. The isles themselves are very narrow, making it difficult to navigate if I have my service dog with me. The isles also aren't lined up so you can't walk in a straight line, go through the later half of the store and hit another isle. They're always at a slight curve. I think one of the negatives of Kroger is they pretty much want to slap their mega supermarkets into any area they build with little room for flexibility. Considering there is a Target and Whole Foods practically across the street, the parking situation at this Kroger is incredibly awkward. With only two narrow entrances into the lot, I can only imagine fender-benders are frequent. In addition to the above, a lot of greens pace near the Monon was destroyed when this Kroger was built. Yeah, they put in those benches. But now walkers, joggers, and cyclists are now resting in the blazing hot sun with no shade. But hooray, I guess we have a place to sit? read more

My prediction is that this store won't be around in 3-5 years. For years I shopped here until Aldi popped up across the street. Aldi = better prices, decent attitude from employees and quick service. Just today I went into this store to get balloons and flowers. First issue - no one to be found behind this dedicated counter. Second issue - customer service desk open at 6pm. It was 4pm. What?! I found this info by asking an employee who was playing a game on his phone and HAD to look up to answer me. Finally found a willing and reluctant soul to help me. Also on their phone while working. But she was helpful after I pushed the issue. Clearly the other person who normally mans that stand had no interest, as she finally showed up and said "uh uh. I'm checked out." Just wow. Finally I'm thinking I got this balloon thing squared away and tada they're out of helium. Never again. read more

Good store. Kroger has a better variety than Marsh and the prices are cheaper too. Their produce section is fresh. Kroger does a nice job keeping the store clean and presentable. They keep the cart bins clear so you don't have to worry about a runaway cart dinging your car. The downside is the width of the main walkway in the middle of the store. It is so narrow! Two customers walking in opposite directions with carts can barely pass each other. It can lead to traffic jams when the store is busy. Widen that main aisle, Kroger! read more

Their hold music was hideous. Then they threw me into a hold status for over 30mins then h/u on me.

On a good day you can get in and out in 30 minutes or less but those are far and few between. The store lay out is confusing and recently got rearranged which makes finding some items incredibly difficult. If you're lucky, you'll see an employee who will try to help but honestly I think they are still confused. Disappointed that the app says they have some items and they do not. My last concern is the baggers. Not only do they have no rhyme or reason for what should be bagged together they also make unnecessary judgemental comments about items purchased. The store is clean and the prices are affordable and it's conveniently located in Nora, hence why I was gracious with 3 stars. read more

I love grocery shopping. Call me crazy! There are 2 Krogers that are significantly closer-to-home for me yet I'll drive out of my way to hit this one up. Here's why: -They have small carts for those who are heading in for a quick trip! -Large, open produce section with fresh and appealing fruits and veggies -Clean bathrooms! -Great selection of flowers (including buckets of "managers special" bunches/bouquets near the cash registers) -Large selection of natural/organic/specialty/Kosher products (We're talking 2 full aisles and a freezer section!) -If/when items ring up differently than the price marked take your receipt up to the customer service desk and you'll be refunded the purchase price of the item AND get to keep it. Check your receipts before leaving! read more

I didn't come to grocery shop and be a employee and work for free! I was going to sign up for a Kroger card. No employees helping. Just talking. Watching us do their job and getting paid. I hand gestured for the guy to come to the register to help me. He said not to snap at him. Well if I wasn't doing your job I wouldn't have to ASK you to come over to help me. Once he gave me his attitude I left the whole cart of groceries told the manager and walked out. His name was ANGEL! Long hair...RUDE!!!!! Put your staff behind the register and Mayb they wouldn't have it in their head that I came to shop to do their job for them. Talking and responding to me like I'm his child or employee. I don't work for Kroger's. I'm the customer. Had you been behind a register asking me if I found everything I was looking for. And bagging my groceries I wouldn't have to hand gesture for you to come to me. That's your first problem. 2nd is talking to me like your crazy and lost your mind. read more

Why does this Kroger make me feel like the aisles are closing in on me? It's like they are taller and more narrow than standard grocery store aisles. The plus side, it seems to have a wide selection in a smaller space, but the anxiety is a bit much. Still, I'll put up with it for those fuel points! Also, strong recommend on Rebel Fish maple salmon. Everyone should have Rebel Fish for dinner at some point in their lives. No exaggeration.
