I placed eight of the Cranberry Ginger Ale packs in my cart which meant four would be free. When the cashier checked out my items the total indicated two packs would be free. I told her that the sign says two are free with a purchase of four. She said no so I requested that someone go to the area and check the sign which two individuals did go back and checked the sign. I was correct and a man brought the sign back with him. He said that the sale had expired. It is not my fault that the sign was expired and they had not removed the sign. It should not be the customers responsibility to know what is on sale and what is not and I let them know it. The cashier then asked should I give her the items for the price and he said yes. The man said yes so she changed the price to allow me to purchase four of the Ginger Ale's for free. I placed my card in the card reader to pay for them. A lady then said no she cannot purchase the items .for that price because that sale has expired. I explained I am purchasing based on the sign in your store. The lady was very RUDE and said we cannot let you have those items for that price over ruling the man. I told the cashier that it is not my fault that their sign is wrong. I was very disgusted and walked out the store leaving AL:L eight of the Ginger Ale packs in the cart. The unprofessionalism at this store was soooo bad that I do not intend to return. As a prior Manager for numerous years I would never have treated ANY customer in this manner. The manager also said that ALL Kroger stores do not have the same price. That is news to me because this is the first time I have ever experienced this type of situation and they need individual store flyers if this is true. Ver poorly managed store!!! I will make sure that Kroger corporate is aware of the situation that I experienced as this management team definitely needs additional customer service training!!!

So let me get this straight: the store is OPEN, shelves are STOCKED, customers are READY to purchase... but Walmart locks up merchandise and makes it impossible to buy after 8 PM. How is that not a direct hit to your own bottom line? Revenue lost: Customers leave without spending a dime. Payroll still running: Employees are on the clock while sales walk out the door. Corporate values ignored: Walmart claims its culture is built on: Service to the customer Respect for the individual Strive for excellence Act with integrity (Walmart Values) Here's the bigger issue: this isn't just one store. I experienced the SAME FAILURE at the Southaven, MS location. This is looking like a regional problem, not an isolated mistake. I'll give Horn Lake this much at least Tee knows who's at work and when. That's more than I got out of the Southaven manager, who couldn't even tell me if her own staff showed up. But knowing the schedule doesn't change the fact that customers still can't buy products during open hours. Walmart -- if your stores are open, your products should be available. Period. Stop wasting customer time and corporate revenue. And let's be clear: you're locking products up to eliminate theft, but in the process you're not selling them either. She told us that this was the reason that she never buys live plants only artificial ones. She didn't care. When it was my turn I reached over and placed the money on the counter in front of the woman cashier. I had reached over my item and dropped a five dollar bill on the counter from about 5 inches up. The woman got so mad and started yelling that I had thrown the money at her. I picked up my money and said nevermind, I no longer wanted this item and left the store. The cashier was still screaming as I walked away. I have never been back to this Aldi or any other Aldi.
