I love my Kroger, usually a good selection of everything I need. Friendly, helpful staff. Pharmacy is very helpful, also.

It has undergone renovation and updates in the last few years, and since, the store keeps it together and makes for a good shopping experience. This Kroger is a larger footprint offering all the standards of a grocery store plus a few specialty counters from fresh meats, bakery, deli and the beloved Murrays cheese area. While I am not in Hermitage too often, when I am, I usually make some excuse to pick up a few things at this Kroger. The shelves are always stocked, the selection, especially the meat, is always nice, store is kept clean and the service, while not spectacular, is just right and friendly. They do have a Kroger fuel station, along with a walk-in clinic. I have not utilized the walk-in clinic, but do use my points for a fill up when I stop by. As with most Kroger locations, the gas prices are competitive and then you add your points...and boom, $1 off per gallon! Overall, nothing super fancy about this location, but that is the thing...nothing fancy, just Kroger. And I can dig it.

A few days ago, prior to knowing about this outbreak, I purchased bagged lettuce, cilantro, and blueberries. After educating myself on this issue, I made the decision to return these products to avoid possible contamination and sickness. The young man at the customer service desk was unaware and called Jesus, the store manager. I believe he was also clueless and was rather rude concerning my returns. Low-and-behold, I was able to pull up my receipt in my app and receive my refund. I just wish it wasn't such a hassle.

Easiest described as a combination of city center and suburb locations. While the layout is smaller, they still have a great selection of all the goods I am accustomed to. I mean, you can tell they have less variety or certain items, but there was nothing completely missing for me. The store is clean, but needs some TLC conditionally. This is an older location, so the wear and tear, from inside to out is noticeable. Service was friendly at self-checkout. They were helpful in directing traffic and with any assistance needed when the self checkout gave you the normal attitude. There were no employees on the floor, so service in the aisles was lacking, but in my case was not needed. This location does offer the Kroger gas station, but it is situated across the street, making it a standalone gas station of sorts. Overall, solid Kroger location that I would happily visit again when in the immediate area.

As we were going through the checkout lane, the cashier who is in a wheelchair, commented, "wow! That's a lot of wine!" I thought I surely had misheard her because I didn't think anyone would be that rude. However, a little while later, I asked my husband about it, and he assured me that, "oh yes, you heard her correctly!". Had I realized that, at the time, I would've addressed it directly to her, wheelchair or not. She has absolutely no idea the circumstances under which we bought those. Apparently, she thinks we are going to drink it all tonight. Cashiers have absolutely no business commenting on what someone is buying because they don't know the circumstances. Kroger needs to train their cashiers to keep their mouths shut!

Am I writing a review their amazing deli? Am I writing a…read morereview for the amazing smoothies? Am I writing a review for their always fresh produce, consistently impeccable store, and killer cereal selection? Normally, the answer would be yes, but my most recent visit here has me writing a review for their amazing customer service and money order station. I'm currently in the process of moving and along with that comes getting carpets cleaned, walls painted, and photos taken. Surprisingly, a lot of small local businesses still only take cash or money orders; I guess cash will always be king. So, when I needed a money order at 8am when my normal bank branch didn't open until 9am, plus a 40-minute drive, Publix swooped in to save the day. Kelly, who helped me out, was amazing. Admittedly I hadn't written a check or gotten a money order in quite some time and Kelly helped to walked me through it step-by-step. Duh, I know this is a very simple process, but she made me feel at ease and reassured me that this happens all the time. Shout out to Publix! I'm moving back to the West Coast, where as far as I know there isn't a Publix, within a few thousand miles, but maybe someday!

Hannah Vs Ronald. A battle for the ages. The base sandwich was the cranberry turkey. When we got back to table My partner and I spent the better part of 45 minutes carefully critiquing each sandwich. At the end of the 45 minutes we both decided that we were not able to give a proper judging. For we both found the base sandwich in inspiring. I'm Sorry Hannah I was really hoping to come back with a fantastic win. And in my opinion Ronald was never going to win with putting the tomatoes in his entry. However my partner lives tomatoes and felt that Ronald's sandwich would have taken the win despite his generous application of cranberries.. Results.... A Draw. However, Hannah gets an advantage point for remembering the sandwiches code by memory. Do not let the review of the sandwich take away from the personalities behind the deli counter. Ronald and Hannah always provide fantastic service.
