Sibenthaler - Kroger is truly a DISAPPOINTMENT on every level, EVERY DAY, any time that I have to go into this store in order to 'keep' my dollars on my side of town! So before it's asked, "why I continue to support" THAT IS WHY! For that reason alone is not enough anymore, this store lets begin from the time consumers pull into the TRASH FILLED PARKING lot. I don't know that this is anyone's responsibility as yes there are other businesses inside the Sibenthaler location but again OUR side of town always has to push blame/responsibility to others :(. The cart racks 8 out of 10 times are full because all the carts are outside, and the employees are riding around on the others (yes and not to bring them inside) I've sat watched them PLAY outside the store, holding conversations w/friends and just chill on the electric mobile carts. You walk into the store and IT'S DIRTY! The floors appear as if they haven't been cleaned in for NEVER. The aisle ways are untouched most times, shelves are messy (not presentable) *advice time* go to Englewood - Kroger if you need a visual of how your store should appear! It amazes me that only on a certain side of town you can go into a MAIN grocery store that services so many people in the community and the shelves can be EMPTY?? How is this even possible? How is the ordering of supplies calculated, anticipated or expected to meet the needs of the same community that spends it's dollars there if you can't even keep it stocked? It's shameful! The produce, is not even worth discussing *again* advice time you need to take a employee field trip to other local Kroger's maybe even in the Alston Landing area because you HAVE TO GET A VISUAL of what it should be! The deli area IS A COMPLETE JOKE, how are employees serving customers while eating the product at the same time (sanitary issues). How is it that I can go into any other Kroger in the evening and purchase the same items that are mind you FULLY STOCKED and fresh but come into Sibenthaler and you've already not only pulled all food or just stopped cooking it all together but that area will have no chicken, sides in fact the area is just empty w/silver serving trays. There is just SO much WRONG w/this store that I'm actually getting upset even trying to discuss it all. MANAGEMENT needs to be held accountable for how this store is being represented. It is the only grocery store that we have so some people do not have a choice but to shop here and that is very unfortunate. I plan to complain on every site possible, even writing directly to Krogers, it's customer care center, your management team and SEND PICTURES because there is no excuse for how you are showing appreciation (the lack of) to your customers in the community who shop here. And FYI I don't know who those people are who left those 'kind' reviews STOP LYING!! This store is ALWAYS in shambles. read more
