Really tired of coming to this location. The store is nice and has everything i need but the front end is always annoyed or disgruntled to help when using the self checkout. well today was just another frustrating visit. I had a digital coupon for coffee that said "use up to 5 times with a purchase," but it wouldn't clip to my account. A newer employee called someone over to help, and the cashier told me I needed to buy five of them before it would work. When I explained what the coupon actually said, she just shrugged and said "I don't know," then called over a supervisor named Latasha and walked off. after waiting around 10 minutes for the supervisor Latasha showed up. She told me I needed to get off the store's Wi-Fi because "it sucks" and that's why the coupon wasn't working(I wasn't on the store wifi i was on my celluar data). Then she actually answered a phone call while I was still standing there, and kept saying it was my fault and needed to be off the wifi. This isn't the first time with this location the front end just doesn't care or is willing to help so I'll just not be shopping at the spillway location anymore. read more

The pharmacy staff are so caring and helpful, going above and beyond to make sure their customers are taken care of. Recently, I had a medication change because my insurance decided to decline a medication I've been taking for years. My provider prescribed something different but the pharmacy was out and needed to order it. I shared with the pharmacist that I was out of my medication and he took the time to check with other stores in the area to find medication availability for me so I didn't have to go several days without. I appreciate that he cared for me enough to go above and beyond for me. I recommend Spillway Kroger pharmacy, 100%! read more

Do not purchase gift cards from this location! We purchased an Amazon card in November and the claim code was scratched off on purpose. After many calls to Kroger I was told to take this up with Amazon. My brother also purchased a Mastercard gift card a week later that was compromised. I have tried many, many times to pick up my groceries. Every time I pick up my groceries, I only have 50% of what I ordered. The App for this endeavor is not compatible. Finally, I said this was enough. Yesterday, I picked up my groceries, I only received 30% of what I ordered. So, I'm going to try Walmart. read more

I was in here today at 8:18am at the self check out. I was the ONLY person at the self check out. I strained my back yesterday and didn't want to carry this big bag of dog food up to the scanner. After scanning all my items, I clicked on "large items in basket" which it alarms the attendant (5 feet from me) with an annoyingly loud beeping. The bag was already in my cart, I just needed her to scan it so I don't have to lift it.... Oh she heard it, looked at me. Expected me to pick up the bag and scan it. I stood there to see if she'll finally walk over. Nope, she goes to talk to another cashier while it's still alarming her with the annoying beeping sound. She figured if it goes off for a few minutes, I'll give up and scan it myself. I would've if it seems like she was busy and really didn't hear the beeping. I had to ask her to come over and scan it. She wasn't happy...if you don't want to be in retail and hate your customers which contributes to your paycheck, quit. This is not the job for you. I was an area manager for a whole foods before, if I've seen any of my employees or managers give this kind of service, they'd be GONE. Pure laziness. read more

Since they remodeled this Kroger, all the vegetable area are not as fresh as before. I guess the reason why this happened is veges did not get enough water. Last week I ordered one piece of raw lobster from their seafood department. This is my first time buying raw lobster from here. I had a lot of expectations on this lobster. So I went home and cooked it right away with noodles. After I boiled it, all the lobster meats fall apart into very small smushed texture pieces. I literally can't find any lobster meat from the shell!. I was so disappointed, because this lobster has been spoiled. And from the color and how small pieces it falling apart, you can tell it has been spoiled over a week. No one can tell if it is fresh or not if it has shell over the meat! People could get really sick from this too. This store definitely need some more management! read more

Excellent grocery store. My wife and I love Kroger. Excellent quality of food, affordable prices, and friendly staff if you need anything. I would also venture to say that Kroger brand food items are usually (not always) just as good as name brand. The Kroger granola bars have been the only mishap I've encountered. I used to go there a lot but frequently I have gotten sick on their steaks and "fresh" deli meat. Several times I have been woken up in the middle of the night, having to use the bathroom. This is uncalled for, the meat is out of date, they aren't cleaning or they are not washing their hands. Something is rotten and I am not going to buy anymore of their meats. read more

One of the "newer" stores in the area. We use this one for location purposes, but the store is clean and the staff is great. I have had excellent service in the deli as well. Store can get busy in afternoons at times as people leave work and stop here to pick up a few items. read more

The stores area clean, the employees are helpful, yada, yada. The problem is the meat department. The quality of the beef is completely below par. They say the beef is USDA Choice but if it is even Select I'd be shocked. For the third time I bought a porterhouse only to find that roughly 20% of the strip side and 10% of the filet is inedible connective tissue! The only reason I have had three steaks from Kroger is that around Jackson the only supermarket choice you have is Kroger or Sav-A-Lot, which is even worse! I would like to challenge the manager of the Kroger on Spilllway Circle to buy a steak from his store and post a picture of the plate online showing how much is inedible. read more

Worst experience ever!!! I go to Kroger at least 3-4 times a week and anywhere I go I always patronize Kroger because I love shopping here, but not today! The attendants at the self check out are too lazy they won't even try to help you when you clearly waved your hand at them and they see you but they still chose to ignore you!!! Hit the button for calling the attendant, And when they finally came to help you, they act like you were an inconvenience to their job. If you don't like your job just quit, seriously, I always go to the Kroger in Flowood and the one by castle woods but this one in spillway has the worst customer service! read more
