I always took care of my customers, doing my best to make them happy with 'customer' friendly policies. I recently bought a "basket of peaches" from Cockrell's Farmers Market and I came home with 5 bad peaches that had to be on the their "basket." I have always trusted the "basket" buying experience as the person that rings your order up does touch every item. I thought that if I ever bought some bad produce from them that they would stand behind their products. However, upon asking if they would replace the 5 bad peaches they said "No." These peaches were so damaged that they soaked the bottom of my Fridge Fruit Drawer and took a while to clean the mess up. I have learned my lesson and now pick a basket and then go thru each individual piece of fruit or vege to check to see if they are bad and if so, replace with an undamaged unit and setting the bad piece of fruit or vege to the side so that others will can determine for themselves if they want to buy it or not. I thought about taking my business to another local farmers market, but since Cockrells is only 2 miles from me, I have decided to stay based on the extra cost of gas and time taken. Overall I would give them a rating of 4 out of 5 for their products and 3 out of 5 for customer service (this ranking is based on all customer service expectations and not based off of 1 or 2 issues).

Came on a Friday night around 7 and it was busy but we were able to be seated. Stayed for about 1 1/2 hours and the place was steady. 4.75 Stars - Staff ( believed all family members) were friendly, professional, and efficient. The chefs kept the food coming out and the servers and helpers made sure your drinks and food was served in a timely manner. Food: 3.75 - 4.25 Stars Appetizer - 3.75 Stars : Fried Green Tomatoes topped Flaky Crab Meat in a light creamy sauce. The creamy sauce was too thin. Needed a roux or cornstarch to slightly thicken it up. There are four small - medium sized green tomatoes as the foundation for the crab meat w kinda' Cajun creamy sauce which gave the tomatoes a sweeter taste. The tomatoes were slightly acidic being "green tomatoes". Definitely needed a little bit of black pepper and salt. The creamy base was okay. Just needed some more seasoning and to be thicker. Entree's: 3.75 Stars - Seafood Pasta. An Angel hair dish served with crawfish, two scallops, four shrimps and crabmeat in a light Cajun seasoning creamy sauce. A healthy portion of the pasta and seafood. HOWEVER, the dish could have been soooo much more tasty. Lightly seasoned with Cajun spices and a hint of garlic. Salt and pepper was definitely needed to enhance the flavor. Dish has the potential to be really good. 4.25 Stars - Grilled Shrimp and Scallops w fried potatoes and sautéed veggies. Both the shrimp and scallops were cooked perfectly; tender and soft. You can cut the items with a spoon. Especially the scallops; they were buttery in taste and were wonderfully seared. The seasoned on the shrimp and scallops had enough heat to tell you, "Hey, taste me cuz you will like what I bring"! Only thing missing was some acid and tart from a lemon or lime. None were accompanied with the dish. My wife added a lemon from her water. Server didn't asked or presented any lemons for the dish. Dessert: Tres Leches 4 Stars it was sweet, savory and the sponge cake was light and airy. The whipped cream with the chocolate drizzle and sweetened milk was wonderful. Definitely needed an espresso or cappuccino which they don't serve. Overall: we will be back to taste other menu options. Also, they have Couple Date menu for $35 (Mon-Wed) and a $75 ((Thurs-Saturday) special where the couple will get ONE Appetizer, TWO Entrees and a ONE Dessert to share. I believe that is a Pretty good deal!

I am genuinely disappointed with my recent experience at Kroger…read more In a time when most companies are upgrading with A.I. systems and smart customer-service solutions, it is surprising and frustrating to encounter employees who show poor attitude and a lack of professionalism. I understand that everyone works hard and everyone has personal stress. But stress is never an excuse to take it out on customers. Customers come to shop, spend their money, and they deserve basic respect: courtesy, professionalism, and proper service especially from a major American brand like Kroger. The United States is a modern, civilized country. Don't let a few unprofessional employees damage the company's reputation. If an employee feels unhappy with their job or no longer wants to serve people, then consider leaving the position instead of bringing negativity into every customer interaction. Working in customer service means serving customers, not mistreating them. Kroger needs to upgrade its training system, integrate A.I. monitoring, and take employee attitude evaluations more seriously. Some staff members clearly have a long history of poor service, and it shows. I'm writing this hoping Kroger will improve so that customers and the great employees who actually care don't suffer because of a few individuals who don't respect the job or the people they serve.

I arrived at 4:25 PM for my appointment and was told they were completely out of oil and that I would need to go inside and purchase my own oil and filter. I went in and bought the oil but had difficulty finding the correct filter, so I asked for assistance. After purchasing the items, the technician looked at the oil I selected and questioned my choice, saying, "You bought this oil?" I explained that it was all I could afford since I wasn't prepared to purchase my own supplies and still pay for labor. He continued to criticize my decision. I responded that if they had the proper supplies in stock as they should have, I wouldn't have had to buy that particular brand. An hour later, I received a text saying they had just started working on my vehicle. My trip was three hours away, and it was already getting late. After 7:00 PM, they finally told me the vehicle was ready. When I went outside to check the tires, I noticed the tire with the nail was still on the back driver's side where I specifically said it needed to be replaced. I then walked around the vehicle and realized they had removed the brand-new tire I had just purchased a month ago and replaced it with the tire I brought in. I was furious. I asked them where my new tire was because it had not been placed where I requested. At that point, I was met with extreme disrespect from the lube technicians, who clearly seemed ready to go home. I had been there for hours after working a full day myself and was exhausted and trying to get on the road. Thankfully, two supervisors, Shun and Ms. Jennifer, were very kind and stepped in to help. They instructed the technicians to locate my tire and place it correctly. About 10-15 minutes later, I realized my daughter had my keys. I asked the supervisors if the tire was being changed in the parking lot, and they explained it had to be done in the bay. They asked if the technicians had gotten the keys from me, and I told them no, I had just realized my daughter had them. Eventually, they corrected the tire placement. However, the technician then told me, "Your trunk is open." I responded that it looked closed. He said it was reading as open on the dashboard. I asked who had closed it because it is operated by a button and is supposed to close automatically. He said he didn't know. When I went outside, my trunk was indeed open and would not close. None of the buttons were working. I had to call my husband to the store to Google how to manually close it. By this time, it was after 8:00 PM. My husband and I were again met with disrespect from the technicians. One of them was still arguing, saying this was "crazy" and that I didn't need to be upset. I told him that if it were his vehicle, he would absolutely be upset. He then became rude toward my husband and daughter. To make matters even worse, I later noticed that someone had gone through my center armrest and personal papers. I had left my documents flipped face down, and when I returned to my vehicle, they were turned face up and out of order. I have no idea what anyone would have been searching for, and that is extremely unsettling. It is completely unacceptable to go through a customer's personal belongings. This is beyond ridiculous -- you should be able to trust people to simply do the job they were assigned without invading your privacy. I had to get Shun and Ms. Jennifer involved again. Although the supervisors apologized, the technicians continued speaking recklessly in front of them. There was no sympathy or accountability from the technicians, even though their mistakes significantly delayed and disrupted our trip. Because of the delays, we arrived at our hotel just 15 minutes before 1:00 AM. The hotel had almost canceled our reservation and would not allow a late checkout. My family missed the plans we had scheduled for that evening, and our entire trip was negatively affected. This was by far the worst customer service experience I have ever had, and I will never use the Walmart Lube Center in Flowood again.
