Make shorter:I had the worst experience at the Walmart Lube Center in Flowood. I made a 4:30 PM appointment to get my oil changed and have a back tire put on before heading out of town. I arrived at 4:25 PM for my appointment and was told they were completely out of oil and that I would need to go inside and purchase my own oil and filter. I went in and bought the oil but had difficulty finding the correct filter, so I asked for assistance. After purchasing the items, the technician looked at the oil I selected and questioned my choice, saying, "You bought this oil?" I explained that it was all I could afford since I wasn't prepared to purchase my own supplies and still pay for labor. He continued to criticize my decision. I responded that if they had the proper supplies in stock as they should have, I wouldn't have had to buy that particular brand. An hour later, I received a text saying they had just started working on my vehicle. My trip was three hours away, and it was already getting late. After 7:00 PM, they finally told me the vehicle was ready. When I went outside to check the tires, I noticed the tire with the nail was still on the back driver's side where I specifically said it needed to be replaced. I then walked around the vehicle and realized they had removed the brand-new tire I had just purchased a month ago and replaced it with the tire I brought in. I was furious. I asked them where my new tire was because it had not been placed where I requested. At that point, I was met with extreme disrespect from the lube technicians, who clearly seemed ready to go home. I had been there for hours after working a full day myself and was exhausted and trying to get on the road. Thankfully, two supervisors, Shun and Ms. Jennifer, were very kind and stepped in to help. They instructed the technicians to locate my tire and place it correctly. About 10-15 minutes later, I realized my daughter had my keys. I asked the supervisors if the tire was being changed in the parking lot, and they explained it had to be done in the bay. They asked if the technicians had gotten the keys from me, and I told them no, I had just realized my daughter had them. Eventually, they corrected the tire placement. However, the technician then told me, "Your trunk is open." I responded that it looked closed. He said it was reading as open on the dashboard. I asked who had closed it because it is operated by a button and is supposed to close automatically. He said he didn't know. When I went outside, my trunk was indeed open and would not close. None of the buttons were working. I had to call my husband to the store to Google how to manually close it. By this time, it was after 8:00 PM. My husband and I were again met with disrespect from the technicians. One of them was still arguing, saying this was "crazy" and that I didn't need to be upset. I told him that if it were his vehicle, he would absolutely be upset. He then became rude toward my husband and daughter. To make matters even worse, I later noticed that someone had gone through my center armrest and personal papers. I had left my documents flipped face down, and when I returned to my vehicle, they were turned face up and out of order. I have no idea what anyone would have been searching for, and that is extremely unsettling. It is completely unacceptable to go through a customer's personal belongings. This is beyond ridiculous -- you should be able to trust people to simply do the job they were assigned without invading your privacy. I had to get Shun and Ms. Jennifer involved again. Although the supervisors apologized, the technicians continued speaking recklessly in front of them. There was no sympathy or accountability from the technicians, even though their mistakes significantly delayed and disrupted our trip. Because of the delays, we arrived at our hotel just 15 minutes before 1:00 AM. The hotel had almost canceled our reservation and would not allow a late checkout. My family missed the plans we had scheduled for that evening, and our entire trip was negatively affected. This was by far the worst customer service experience I have ever had, and I will never use the Walmart Lube Center in Flowood again. read more

I made my way to the back where associates are only allowed, to get some help in the electronics dept. Found a bunch of them chilling in the back. Lord. When you have you to ask for help 3x, that's a problem. And then have the audacity to have any sort of attitude, smh. It's really sad though. Signs of low self esteem... playing "victim mode." A better than average Walmart. Usually I dread walking into any Walmart and come out needing a drink (or two or three). But I actually don't mind shopping at this Walmart. The employees are friendly and helpful. I know.... shocker, right?! The store is organized and clean.... another shocker, right?! They generally have enough cashiers working and enough registers open so the check-out process goes fairly quickly. I really have nothing to complain about as far as this Walmart is concerned. And of course, this one is open 24/7 for all you night owls who are like me. I also love the little section at the front of the store where they have all kinds of Ole Miss and State items. For a Wal-Mart, this place is pretty good. Lots of options, including grocery. Clean. Well spaced out. Safe neighborhood. Both times I've been here, it hasn't been crazy busy. The check out person was a little slow but very polite. The girl who helped us in electronics was very kind and willing to help. Good produce section as well as selection of cheeses. Seems like a typical Walmart, nothing special...nothing terrible. I come to Walmart to swap my propane tanks for work. At nearly all Walmarts it is between $15 and $16 after taxes to exchange a tank. Thats usually about $4 cheaper than Lowe's and $7 to $9 than the gas stations...gotta have a Blue Rhino tank though. read more

Dropped by to pick up shells for my 22WMR pistol and my 9 MM kimber. Asked three different associates (including customer service) to send someone to sporting goods to help me (because the shells are locked in storage shelves). Wait 30 minutes and no one showed up to help me. Drove two miles west to Academy and the shells were available on open shelves to pickup, and I did. Very poor service Walmart! read more

Walmart was okay. Pretty standard. I'm never a huge fan of their produce. Now sure which day they get fresh shipments. Sometimes I feel like there are not a lot of people working because it's difficult to get assistance and at times there are long line ups with only three cash registers opened. Usually has fair pricing and good deals. read more

Typical Wal-Mart. I can't really say anything good or bad about this location. It used to be my go to location, as it was once the best Wal-Mart in the area, but now that title goes to the Madison Wal-Mart. This is still a fine location. If you have been to a supercenter, then you will be familiar with this store. read more

Avoid taking your car here at all costs. Two hours and still waiting for a tire to be patched. Could be worse: another customer had her transmission fluid drained while she was on for an oil change. read more

A horrible store. I tried to use a coupon at self check which was valid. The employee said that they could not accept coupons at self check. My wife purchased items there the day before with coupons and had no problems. I complained to the corporate office about the employees ignorance and attitude and was told that I would receive a response from store management. It's been a week and no response. Big surprise. The store manager is not very customer friendly either. Walmart could do better. read more

This may be the absolute worst place in MS to get your oil changed. Not only are they no nice but they do horrible work. My receipt said they checked my tire air pressure and transmission fluid level. My tire sensors were still on when I left and tires were 7 lbs low when I got home. My transmission is sealed and can't be checked. The prices are as high as any place nearby but the service and attitudes are horrible. read more

We had an item that was marked down. The cashier messed up the price and had to call the manager who proceeded to yell at him. She voided it and told him to start over. We told her we had three items marked down so she would help him but she ignored me and walked off. He messed it up because she didn't show him how to do it and then came over and yelled at him again. Thst is no way to train people . read more
