I visited the Kroger bakery today and purchased a serving of Tiramisu in a lovely glass dish. The Tiramisu was delicious. Please continue to make these. Until recently, this store sold Private Selection, all butter, Mini-Croissants which were freshly baked in their store bakery. This was one of my favorite foods of all time. Now they are selling inferior mini-croissants in plastic containers which are imported frozen from Canada. I can't recommend this store anymore. I advise to avoid shopping there. If they have so-greatly compromised quality on Mini-Croissants, on what else are they cutting corners?​ read more

This is NOT the Kroger of my youth! Kroger merged with Fred Meyer (of Pacific Northwest popularity) in 1998, and I see some of that influence over this store in a lot of ways. My family were Kroger regulars when I was growing up as it was low cost, no frills, straight groceries and nothing else except school supplies. This location has a Starbucks inside, deli, bakery, sushi bar, specialty alcohols, clothing (with their own clothing line), an extended book and magazine selection and an pharmacy. They have a huge variety of everything! It was amazing. Even their own gas station out front. HUGE parking lot. Checkout was a breeze. I could have spent hours in here wandering around and appreciating this store. Let me tell you, it was so clean and well organized inside. I wish they had locations in the New Orleans metro area, because this was a freaking delight! read more

This store gets a 1 star because never has cashiers store manager always claim to many call ins. Ask a manager one day about why they only had 2 express checkouts open and self checkouts with huge lines he remarked oh guess your right and walked away and did nothing. This is everyday almost. I have called 12 times in last month to Kroger National customer service where it say customer's are our top priority. I have repeatedly ask to be contacted by the District Manager have been told it takes 2-4 days it's been over 35 days no response. Now yesterday I was to District is reviewing and it can take 90 days. I can see Customer's are Kroger's top priority! Hate to see how they treat things that aren't a priority. This store has changed dramatically as of late!!!!! read more

Perhaps it's just me. Every single time I've shopped here my receipt shows overcharge due to all the gimmick sales. You have to use loyalty card or mix match five items or add digital coupon or stand on one leg and spin around. I used digital coupon and ribs still did not ring up correctly. After cashier attempt at correction and failing a mgr moved me from line to over ride pricing only to find out when I got home still had been charged $20 for $8 item. I went back next day and was told their policy was you must request correction within hours on same day. Spoke to another 2nd line person who said price should have never been overridden. I was grudgingly granted the refund. Btw I fell into mix match 5 item trap, AGAIN. Think I will toss weekly sale paper as I am to old to play shopping lotto. read more

I could not believe how nasty, dirty and untaken care of this public restroom was!! Nothing was stocked, toilet paper was everywhere, trash cans were overflowing, and in the back of the door where it clearly states they take pride in their cleanliness, and to please let a manager know if it does not hold up to their standers, well clearly no one cleans these bathrooms!! There was no checklist for anyone to initial that they have taken care of the bathrooms, even those papers weren't stocked in the bathroom for employees to sign off.. not to mention the store seems to be poorly taken care of, so much trash in the floor throughout the store! read more

I shopped in this store yesterday afternoon. A female employee in the seafood department was handing raw food with her mask on her neck. I attempted to speak with a manager, but after waiting 10 minutes for "Miss Kay" to come to the front of the store I left. I tried to call twice, never got a human, got disconnected both times. Based on this visit alone, I would not have returned if I were a first time customers. You pay more when you shop a Kroger over the Walmart next door to this particular location, but I like to think I am paying for an experience. Typically, the store is cleaner and the employees are nicer and far more helpful. That was not the case during my visit today. To keep a long story very short, we were having an issue with a coupon. The cashier left the register without saying anything to us. He got a lady who I assumed to be a manager and/or the customer service rep. She treated us like we were stupid and talked over us, rather than allowing us to explain. She kept the coupon, but did not give us the proper amount off our receipt. I will be following up with corporate to see if they'll provide a replacement coupon. However, what really blew my mind was the fact that the associate stormed off, angrily stating "I don't have time for you. I have too many other things to do." I was so dumbfounded by this behavior, and will be following up with corporate on Monday. If Kroger is going to tolerate this behavior, we will be taking our business elsewhere. It's just a good thing we are loyal customers; if this had been my first experience, I wouldn't even allow Kroger the opportunity to make it right. read more

Horrible ClickList operation. I tried them twice. The first time they forgot three things on my order, but still managed to charge me for them. The second time nearly half of the produce I ordered was rotten and inedible. The only way to get a refund for missing or bad items is to go back to the store and go in to the office, completely defeating the purpose of curbside pick up in the first place. Other stores (Harris Teeter, Safeway, Walmart) are much more responsive with missing or bad items, and able to remedy the order over the phone or within the app. (And generally just make fewer mistakes in the first place.) I'm going back to the other stores I use instead. read more

My order was set to be picked up from 10-11 AM for ClickList. They called me at 9 to tell me my order would be delayed until after 2 PM. I was still receiving notifications that my order was ready for pickup at my designated time I originally chose to pick them up so I called back up there at 10Am to check with them again to see if it was or wasn't ready. The first woman who picked up the phone, as I was talking telling her what I was calling for, without saying anything, in the middle of me speaking she clicked the phone over to another line and it started ringing again. ClickList picked up and she told me that my order would still be delayed and that was just automatic texts sent out. So I said ok. I then get another call at 1:30 saying my order would still be delayed another hour until 3 pm. This aggravated me a little but I said ok whatever. Well 3 rolls around then 4, then 5 and I haven't gotten a call back from them about my order so I decided to call back up there. Finally, they said my order was ready for pickup. I wasn't able to leave to go pickup my groceries then. (That's why I had the original time set to earlier that morning) I finally am able to get to the store at 8. I call to check in and the girl who answered said ClickList was closed. I asked her why, she said she didn't know???? I told her I was there to get my order that they had delayed from earlier that day. She told me to hold on, then hung up on me and I never got a return call. The point of picking up my order through ClickList was for convenience. This experience plus past experiences I've had with them have not been very helpful or convenient at all. Actually have made things more stressful and complicated. I'm not sure if they're understaffed or what but delaying someone's pickup order 4 hours isn't acceptable. I won't be using this Kroger marketplace ClickList again. read more

I shopped at this Krogers on Friday January 16, 2021 between 2:30 and 3:30 in the afternoon. In the produce department there were only 2 or 3 available places to get bags to put the produce in. Most of them were empty. At check out there were only 2 cashiers with huge lines and it appears the manager was one of the cashiers. It took more than 30 minutes to check out. I could understand this on a weekend perhaps but on a weekday in the middle of the afternoon? I thought people needed jobs. So where were they? Consequently there were huge lines at the self-check out also. Is it that Krogers is having a hard time maintaining and obtaining employees, or is it a managerial problem? read more

I love the many departments and the merchandise at Kroger Marketplace in Bossier City. However, the customer service is not good. In the deli department some of the employees are so slow to wait on you. I recently had an employee at the customer service counter be rude over an item that I was over charged for. On my visit today, the customer in front of me had to wait on a manager to over ride something and he was not in the store anywhere . After waiting in line for a long time, he was finally found in the parking lot. Also some of the cashiers are rude and you have to sack your own groceries a lot of times, and very few cashiers open. It's not always easy doing self check out when you have a lot of items . Another complaint is they are always running out of sale items and almost every time I go, an item rings up the incorrect price. I later see it on my receipt. First trip here while in town for Christmas. I was very impressed with the selection of food. I was just picking up a few quick items for Christmas dinner. The macaroni and cheese & macaroni salad from the deli were both good. I really liked the selection of flowers. I got some beautiful purple roses for $10. As far as this area goes, this Kroger is shoulders above the run down competitors and has prices competitive with wally world. The best produce and good meats. The lost stars are based on this store, and other Kroger's, growing absence of sackers. This is expected at some places like wally world, but I expect better from Kroger. This is the best grocery store in Bossier and maybe Shreveport! It has everything I can possibly think of! Fresh hand rolled sushi, olive bar, a staffed cheese bar, hot food, Board Head sandwiches, and an amazing salad bar. The store is huge and carries so many different brands and products, you are guaranteed to find what you need. The fresh produce and fresh squeezed orange juice is amazing. While I really like the Kroeger brand stores, the shop online and pick up service has consistently messed up. Then trying to call to have something deducted from your bill that was missing, the customer service is even worse. When you call and get transferred the phone gets picked up and hung up. You call back and ask to speak to the store manager and it's not the store manager. You have to go back in to get your order refunded. There was not one "sorry about your order" and after telling me that the store manager told him I would have to go in to get refunded, he hangs up. The lady who brought the items out and they were wrong said she would refund it on my charge...so I don't understand their set up. Just very frustrating trying to save time to waste it. I love shopping at this new store. They have everything I am looking for and things are not that really hard to find given the size of the store. It is easy to get to but the traffic can be knarly at some times of day. There are stores close by that I usually shop at when I go to Shreveport.
