    About as bad as it gets. Poor service. Poor quality. Poor parking. Just like the larger store in Maryville, it's terrible

    Disappointing Experience at the Alcoa, TN Walmart…read more I recently had a frustrating experience at the Alcoa, TN Walmart while trying to buy the new Flip and Sip Cirkul cup as a Mother's Day gift for my mom. I had purchased one for myself a few weeks earlier and wanted to get the same item for her. When I arrived, I checked the area where I had originally found the cup, but it was no longer there. I searched the main aisle with other Cirkul items, but there wasn't even a spot labeled for the Flip and Sip cups. I used the Walmart app, which directed me to a seasonal summer section--also incorrect. After struggling to find the product, I asked a worker who had no idea what I was talking about. I then found another employee who genuinely tried to help, but with all the confusion from the store remodel and clearly undertrained staff, he was just as lost. He reached out to a manager who told me they must be out of stock. I politely mentioned that the app showed over 11 of the color I wanted in stock, along with several others. The manager then said they must've pulled them and sent them back to the company because "11 isn't a lot." That made no sense--especially when there were only three of a different style still sitting on the shelf. He directed the employee to check the back room where items are staged for return, saying they were probably pulled that morning. When I mentioned that, as a Walmart+ member, I could still order the item for pickup, delivery, or shipping, he said it would likely be substituted or delayed. I told him I believed the item was still in the store, but he insisted they were definitely gone. Sure enough, after I finished shopping and went to check out, I spotted a display end cap with dozens of Flip and Sip Cirkul cups--in every color imaginable. The exact product they insisted wasn't in the store. I'm happy I was able to get the gift for my mom, but it was incredibly frustrating to waste over an hour searching because no one knew where things were or how to check properly. Even worse, I was misled--whether intentionally or not--which made me feel like I wasn't being taken seriously. I understand that remodels can create temporary confusion, and sometimes items truly are out of stock. But please, train your employees better and don't tell customers something is gone when it clearly isn't. It's frustrating, disrespectful, and wastes everyone's time.

Had a cashier named…read moreAlexandra who may have been having a bad day but didn't need to project it onto me or my family. Not so much as a simple hello. Ok fine. No big deal. Charged us for 6 of the same items when we only had 4. Again, no big deal, they will fix it. When i mention it to her thats when she got defensive and her attitude really showed. Demanded i show her the item like i was lying or something. Ok again, no big deal let me go grab it. She proceeds to count it in front of me in a condescending manner like i cannot count or something but then she realizes im correct and there really is only 4 items. So i ask her did i count wrong? No response. She goes quiet and hurriedly processes the refund and gives me an insincere sorry like it was the most painful thing she had to do. I honestly have never been disrespected at all by any employees until i met her. To any managers reading hopefully you can retrain her on proper customer service. While waiting to talk to her about the error I overheard another employee telling the customer in front of me that shes from another store and to "make sure she doesnt double charge you" jokingly so maybe this is a common problem with her? Who knows, but please have a talk with Alexandra and make sure she does better in the future.

I am sorry but that is poor customer service and no one should ever be rushed out because they are patrons of that store and paying YOUR paycheck. Will not return. Unless my job at instacart forces me to.
