For the price my manicotti was smaller than at some other places. I even asked for extra Feta cheese and I couldn't tell that the order had any. All in all the food was decently good but in my opinion I've had better at a different restaurant.

I highly recommend eating here. The calamari was salty and sweet and chewy. Soooo gooood!!

Once I was seated and we had ordered the server proceeded to tell us they had a reservation shortly for this table. Then why didn't you say anything before I was seated and ordered or move us to another table. And the whole time I was trying to stuff food into me we were getting dirty looks from all the servers. I get that it is a pain to have people sit for a bit but we were trying to have a meal and a visit. I guess next time we will got somewhere that allows us to eat slow and relax My friend gave the server her AMEX to pay. She came back to the table and said sorry it didn't go through. How embarrassing for my friend. She used another card. Later called the restaurant and was told they don't accept AMEX. So why didn't the server say that. Instead she said it didn't go through and embarrassed her for no reason. Luckily she was with friends who understood not business clients. May be time to switch to a new favorite restaurant in my location.

Instead of a salad, I got roasted lemon potatoes and rice pilaf, which came with warm pita bread and tzatziki. It was a good meal. Everything was hot and seemed freshly cooked. The chicken and potatoes had a bit of a bite, like a hot sauce or spice which I'm not used to when I have Greek food. The lemon on the potatoes didn't really come through. The rice was nice and fluffy. I'd get it again. Ally was the server. She was nice and friendly.

Olympia Diner is a Greek-style diner in the Westwood area of Winnipeg. Definitely not an area I go to often since I live Downtown, but I wanted to try this place for the longest time. I had a lamb souvlaki, topped with a greek salad and rice. It was delicious! Their portions are huge, and I ended up taking some of the salad and rice home. I actually prefer here over Taverna Rodos personally. My friend ordered the saganaki for an appetizer, and oh my god that cheese was amazing...we even got the opa show as the cheese got flamed. Service was excellent here. Will return for sure for my Greek cravings. Too bad it's so far from me.

I had their Santa Lucia Special, which was their best seller consisting of pepperoni, bacon, mushrooms, and green peppers. I honestly wanted to love it, but the pizza crust was too soggy. The ingredients were fresh though, I'll give them that...and it's more value than many regular chain restaurants. Their 10" sizes are more than enough for individual consumption. Service was good, no complaints at all. I wouldn't say it's the premier pizza joint in Winnipeg though.
