I was leaving the plaza after getting my nails done and couldn't believe my eyes: KRISPY KREME! The lot for KK is super small, and the location is SLIGHTLY dangerous/inconvenient. They have a drive-thru but I would just park and walk in- less of a wait when the FRESH NOW sign is on. This location is smaller than the other Krispy Kremes I've been to, it still has the open window for customers to leer into to watch the donuts slide out around. I think the glazed donuts are slightly smaller than I remember, but it seems like almost all places are doing that with their food these days. If you like donuts, you have to have one hot and fresh. It is COMPLETELY another experience. It's like ingesting clouds of warm sweetness... And, they have rewards cards/points now! read more

We asked for a minute to look at what donuts they had to make our selection and the server just roller their eyes at us like we were inconveniencing them, despite not a single other customer being in the store. I had to drive 158 miles all the way to Montgomery, Alabama for the worst Krispy Kreme Service I've ever had in my entire Krispy Kreme life. I've been going to KK my entire life and never have I ever had poor customer service, after all what's there not to be happy about, everyone everywhere loves Krispy Kreme donuts. TATIYANA was not very friendly to us when we asked her about the apple fritters from the drive thru window, she did tell us they were discontinued however we wanted to know if they were discontinued for the season or for good. TATIYANNA never answered our question she rudely ignored our question which we felt was rude to specifically not let us know about the fritters. TATIYANNA was even ruder when we got to the window to pay for our order. I think TATIYANNA needs extra training in customer service because Krispy Kreme is a friendly place with the best donuts in the world. I pulled up to this location on a Sunday morning at 10am. I parked and tried to walk in, but was told I'd have to go through the drive through. So I jump back in line and wait for my turn. 20 minutes later I make it up to the menu board to place my order. "Two Raspberry filled donuts, please. " Manager, "We don't have any!" I asked out of curiosity why the lobby was closed in the morning time and was told by the manager that she didn't have enough people to run the lobby. I said I understood and went to continue trying to order. "I'll take two lemon filled donuts, please." The manager replied, "We don't have any lemon filled, crème filled, custard filled, etc." After a laundry list of items that weren't available, I told them thank you and that would pass on donuts today. After another 10 minutes waiting to get out of line, now I'm back home writing this review. I told a family member about my experience, I was told about the reason the lobby had been closed recently. Apparently the health department had shut them down for health concerns, a filthy kitchen, lobby and bathroom. Apparently the owners went back in, cleaned house and hired some new people. Now with school starting back, maybe they've lost some quality people that they once had? I'm just speculating. No matter what the story might be, I'm personally done with this location. I am reviewing the Montgomery, AL store on the Atlanta Hwy. I went by there fairly late last night and originally placed an order from my mobile app. It would not go through, so I asked the lady at the drive through if she knew why. She sweetly told me to pull up and she could probably help me with it. I was ordering the dozen of mixed donuts that I chose, but they were out of 1 of the donut choices and that is why it would not allow me to order. She took my phone and figured the issue out for me so kindly and patiently. Her name is Charlie, and I REALLY feel that she needs real props, because she was sooo friendly, helpful, and patient. She spoke well and thanked me even though I was the one who was extremely appreciative of her for her help and kindness. Please gives this girl a REAL thank you from her bosses. She really deserves a raise and I am not kidding! This type of courtesy is so hard to find these days, especially in Montgomery, AL. GOD Bless you Charlie and thank you once again. I made an online order for a large group for donuts and coffee. I made this order two days in advance and prepaid. The order was supposed to be ready for pickup at 6:45 am. When I arrived, I had to use the drive-thru, which was already busy. By the time I made it to the ordering speaker, I notified the employee that I was there to pick up this large order. I initially arrived a few minutes early and by the time I made it to the pickup window, I was already 6:45 am. When I arrived to the window, they had yet to even start on the order that was supposed to be ready by now. I watched the young lady build my order from scratch. Three gallons of coffee and six dozen donuts had yet to be started. A couple of minutes into the order, she came to the window and told me that two dozen of the donuts (pumkin spice) that I had ordered were not even available. All of this was happening while the line of cars are steadily building behind me. On two different occasions somebody in the line impatiently honked their horn as if they were telling me or the employee to hurry up. The employee was very pleasant. She was not rude or impatient with me, but this is an order that should've already been prepared and ready prior to my arrival. Poor management! read more

I would recommend going in the morning because that's when they come out fresh. They taste amazing but they are a little pricey. I've never had a problem with nasty attitudes so the service seems to always be amazing. Most of the time you get to the window and they're really sweet. The inside is always clean and it always smells like coffee and donuts (kinda how it's supposed to smell in there lmboo). The cake batter donut, original creme filled, and the vanilla or caramel frozen coffees are a few of my favorite items. The taste is amazing and I 100% recommend. read more

Doughnuts are great but how could they not be? That's the easy part... it's the customer service and access to the store that are lacking! Every time we go there, then though the lobby should be open, it is not. There are employees galore standing inside, yet cars are forced through the drive thru. Then the staff is always rude and seems inconvenienced to have to be helping you... "like how dare you interrupt my day". But I guess that's just par for the course for customer service in "the Gump". The city is declining, there are no businesses here, everything closed early and what is here is ran down and the customer service is horrible. The doughnuts are good but closing the inside early and forcing everyone through the drive-thru in the evening makes scheduling orders pointless. I scheduled an order 24 hours in advance and picked it up nearly an hour after the selected time because the line was so long and slow. Went thru the drive through this morning , while the "Hot Donuts" sign was on, around 9:45am July 4th. Best experience ever. The line moved fast and the service was excellent. The young lady was helpful over the intercom and the young lady that took the payment and provided the 2 dozen original glazed donuts was pleasant and friendly. Though I enjoy a great KK donut, I do not however enjoy their customer service. I came by yesterday early morning through the drive-thru and the debit card machine wasn't working because the Internet was down.. No big deal. I go over to the ATM to get out cash come back and pay and attempted to use my KK rewards app for the points. Cedric was the individual I was dealing with, he didn't try to scan my barcode, handed me the phone and said it wasn't working with an attitude. This is by far THE worst spot I've ever stopped at, and I've been to a few of them considering I'm a whole fatboyy (at heart). From hello the service was poor, but because the drive through speaker was a bit shady I gave it the benefit of doubt. The wait time with one car in front of me was almost :15 minutes with the hot light on, I couldn't just leave because the parking stumps lock you in the drive lane. This is a freestanding Krispy Kreme with lots of seating available. This is one of those stores with the viewing window to see the donuts being made in the back. The store is also clean and the service was fine. I discovered that they make mini donuts now, which is perfect for me. They come in three flavors: original glazed (of course), chocolate glazed, and sprinkles. I had bought a cup of mocha from The Coffee Bean next door and with that mini donut, I was in heaven without any guilt! read more

I went to this Krispy Kreme during a very busy time. The store is not laid out well for the amount of people who were there. It was very unclear where to wait for your order after you paid. More people ordered and paid and piled up around the register and display case which made it difficult to go anywhere. The drive through is also inconveniently placed in front of the building. The parking lot needs to be repaved. The woman filling orders did not communicate well. It was difficult to understand her and it seemed like she didn't understand anyone either. Worst customer service I have ever experienced!!!! Waited in line for over 40 minutes to pick up an online order that I placed at 9 am to pick up at 5 pm. Finally get to the window and the girl says she doesn't have the order like I should just drive off. Like I hadn't already paid $49. I show them the confirmation. No I'm sorry nothing. Finally another 10 minutes goes by and a lady says they don't have anymore of the valentines donuts.(weird considering my order should have already been put together) again no apology or anything. I told her just to refund that part and I still wanted the 2 dozen regular ones. Takes her forever to come back and she comes back and says the manager says it's back on my card. I then said I still wanted the regular 2 dozen. She said I know and proceeded to just stare at me. Then shuts the window. The manager comes up and says what did you want. I said I still want the two dozen. So he says, "well you have to pay for it!" Like obviously. But again no apology not one time. It takes two seconds to act like you care. Great donuts but the staff sees things black and white. I bought a few coupon books 3 mos ago and they refuse to accept my expired coupons? True, they were expires but DD never would do this especially when I was buying a lot of coffee and had the potential to stop here everyday.
