There were many different types of tea and I chose one to take on our trip, but we were also blessed with some chicken salad sandwiches on a croissant and two different desserts. I rarely like anyone's chicken salad, I favor my family's recipe, but I will say, I really like this one and would give it a five 5. Additionally, we had some little petite shortbread cookies and lemon bars, and my husband LOVED 'd the lemon bars. I really liked them too, but he loved them! The cookies were so cute and if I lived in this area, I would probably go to this particular restaurant often. I met the owner and she was SO nice and really went out of her way during our short visit there. The next time we're there, I hope to go in and dine on some delicious homemade food!

The value in the atmosphere, ingenuity, and taste presented by The Tea Garden was simply delightful. We loved being able to browse their array of English teacups and saucers, selecting whichever we pleased to accompany our meal. Their selection of add-on options was also impressive, presenting more like a traditional Southern-style tea (and providing a welcome dose of nostalgia akin to the days of Montgomery's era of Gracie's English Tea Room). The service was also unbeatable: generally tea rooms have a bit of a wait due to how the meal is presented, but The Tea Garden's pacing was perfection. Iced beverage glasses were refilled in a timely manner and we were checked in on many times to see if we required anything additional, including a fresh pot of tea. For the tea, I was very impressed to see their menu goes past providing just a few select blends, leaning into true tea aficionado favorites. I will definitely be back and would highly recommend any tea lover (or posh-but-savvy lunch-goer) check this gem out before the secret gets out. Aside from a gorgeous lunch destination, this would be an excellent location for engagement parties, bridal showers, baby showers, or most fitting, a proper Graduation Tea: a Southern tradition.

The staff were very welcoming and informative. As the adults, we were unfamiliar with how this type of set up worked, and our cashier was very patient and ready to help us as much as they could. We all ended up loving our drinks! We got a brown sugar milk tea, a Thai green milk tea, and a passion fruit strawberry drink with passion fruit popping boba. It was all delicious! We also got some Vietnamese egg rolls that were fried fresh, hot and crispy. The inside of the shop was so cute and inviting. It had nice seating options. So if you want more privacy, or to be sat with everyone else, you easily can be. With different kind of seats too. They provided board games, that were entertaining for all of us. We really enjoyed ourselves, and when the staff saw that we wore masks, they made sure to mask before coming up to us. Which was very considerate and much appreciated. Highly recommend coming in if you're wanting to try something new, or looking for a spot that feels welcoming for everyone.

This focus should and does translate into good results, but it is a work in progress. I came here with two friends and we were in agreement this is a great place for breakfast and brunch, but also in agreement their coffee and tea game could be stepped up. There are no real hot tea choices and the coffee is a bit on the weak side. There is also no iced tap water, only bottled water to pour over ice. They only charge a buck for the water, but it is a consideration. I ordered the shrimp and grits with a side of bacon, which I highly recommend. The grits have a creamy consistency aided with lots of cheese and butter, the latter of which is great for flavor, but could be restrained a bit. You are not here to count the calories. There are a decent number of shrimp atop, with proper Cajun seasoning befitting the eponymously named and New Orleans styled Jazz restaurant. The side of bacon, which came out in a caramelized semicrisp state, complimented the shrimp and added its own savory flavor to put it over the top for me. Jazzy's New Orleans underpinning was consistent in its flavor profile across all our dishes. The Cajun seasoning was evident in the Salmon Croquettes and the Fish and Grits my friends ordered. Everything received positive reviews, save for the pancakes one of my friends ordered on the side, which were considered mildly positive, and the Croquettes, which were a bit too heavily seasoned with the increased sodium content. Prices are reasonable and, after all is said and done, each person will come to about thirty bucks, including the tip, which is automatically charged at fifteen percent. Service was good, but this automatic gratuity charge is a practice I do not like and is reflected in my review rating, but do not let that dissuade you from coming here. 3.5 stars!

You can go down the checklist: Automatic gratuity sign on the front door, the grassy walls, and the steeply priced menu. As a matter of fact, when I looked at the prices at first glance, I almost got up and left because, again, this felt like a 'typical' Atlanta-lite brunch spot when I was visiting Montgomery. However, my experience and thoughts about Jazzy's would begin to shift right there. The waitress was very friendly and patient. I ordered the Big Breakfast with eggs, grits, potatoes and chicken wings. My guest ordered red velvet waffles and a breakfast skillet. It took quite a while, especially for the lack of patrons in the restaurant. However, when the food came, it more than solved and lingering issues I may have been pondering about Jazzy's. The food was amazing!!! The waffles and pancakes were delicious. The eggs and grits took me back to grandma's kitchen table. And the wings??? Come on Jazzy's y'all showed out with the wings. Everything was right on point. Also, I think it's important to note, the size of the portions given will more than make up for any potential pause given by the prices on the menu. If you are in Montgomery and in search of a brunch spot, HIT UP JAZZY'S you will NOT be disappointed.
