Would like to leave less than 1 star. I just ordered a dozen doughnuts in the drive thru, no one else in line. Waited at the window for a long long time with the box of doughnuts sitting right there in the window. But no one came to take my money so I left. Workers walking around inside wouldn't make eye contact with me. read more

On February 6th, I ordered 4 dozen special Valentine's doughnuts for our child care center, to be picked up at 5 pm on February 12 th. I paid $87.16 for them. I called this past Tuesday February 10th I called to make sure that they had the order, and they said that they. did, they repeated the order number to me with all of the order information. I went to pick them up yesterday at 4:45 and they told me that they didn't have them, they sold them. i showed the manager my order information and she said that they don't save doughnut orders even if they're paid for in adVance. Thankfully Dunkin had doughnuts available or I would have had very sad children when they didn't have any doughnuts for their party today. read more

Located on the corner, you can see the "Hot donuts now!" sign a good distance away when it's lit. Parking is plentiful, with handicapped spaces near the door, but they are across the travel lane for the drive through. The two spaces closest to the door are not handicapped. It's hard to find anything bad to say about the product. If you have not had the donuts, you need to add them to your bucket list. If you have, you know what I mean. Service, however, can make getting the donuts much more of an ordeal at this location than it should be. Every time I have gone into the store, service is somber at best. I am rarely greeted with anything other than "What do you want?" Southern hospitality is definitely not on display at this location. My latest trip involved the drive through. The hot donuts now sign was on, but I had a coupon for a dozen assorted donuts. Feeling adventurous, I told the worker to just give me a good assortment of donuts. Granted, I did not provide any direction, just a good assortment. There were five different types of donuts in the box I received. Two jelly filled, two that looked like jelly filled but had no filling, two chocolate iced with cream filling, two birthday cake filled, and four pink icing with sprinkles. Did I mention the hot donuts now sign was on? So, I've learned. Don't expect anything from the workers here other than the bare minimum. Management seems unaware or unconcerned. I have had Krispy Kreme doughnuts for years in different states. This is the only location that considers their doughnuts "hot" at room temperature. I have tried multiple times and I have even specifically requested the hot ones, but they are never even warm at this location when they are sold. I stopped by Krispy Kreme in Johnson City on my way to work and I'll be honest- I've never been to one before, so I thought that they only had that one kind of donut that they're famous for. It turns out they have a lot, a very wide variety. I had to wait behind some guy who was probably singlehandedly keeping the place in business with his order, but then I was greeted kindly and served quickly. I ordered my two beautiful chocolate ice glazed donuts. They have a few drinks too, such as water and milk, and I went with a bottle of chocolate milk. Then I sat and enjoyed my milk and donuts at one of the booths before leaving for work. The donuts tasted fresh, but very very sweet. If I am ever in the area again, I'd probably stop by for breakfast again at some point. read more

Very little inventory to select from; the quality from my first and possible last visit is below standards even for this type store. Also would question the cleanness of the store. My family owned a wholesale / German baker based business years ago. We would never have permitted this low a quality product to be offered or sold. How do you run out of original glazed donuts?!?! I can understand running out of special donuts but not original glazed!!! And then after being told I could come back in 20 minutes I had to sit in the drive thru and wait on the people in front of me to get their orders before I could leave because there was no way out of the drive thru. I'm from Greenville, SC and I've been going to Krispy Kreme for 45 years. I stopped in the Johnson City, TN KK and got a glazed and a cup of coffee. The glaze doughnut was just like always, GREAT but the coffee was not Krispy Kreme. It was like drinking colored water. worst coffe I've ever had.
