This is Coffee Republic at Bluewater Shopping Centre, level 2 opposite Uni Qlo, near House of Frasier. I have not been to a Coffee Republic place for a good 10 years or more. I was quite pleasantly surprised to see they are on par with their bigger competitors. As I always say, choice for consumers is an awesome thing and an opportunity for competing businesses to show what they are made of. A win-win. I spent over an hour in one of the most comfortable coffee shop seats I have ever situated my rear particulars. It is quite rare to see an establishment where sofas and comfy armchairs dominate the horizon. A big thumbs up. For people who spend an hour+ working away on a laptop/phone a comfortable seat does matter. Visit Coffee Republic for a relaxing coffee break after a tiring shopping hunt. Thumbs up!

They sell a range a coffee, teas, cakes, and many varieties of chocolates in small bags (very similar to the way Hotel Chocolat package their chocolates), my Latte even had a nice pattern made out of the froth (See my Picture) plus fresh sandwiches and the shop has a variety of nice designs and icons dotted around the shop (see my pics), I think I would go back there again when I go Bluewater, I recommend this place if you go to Bluewater and seems a lot less busier than all the other Coffee shops there if you are really thirsty and needing quenching quicker!

We arrived at 2pm and queued for about 15 minutes at the canteen. Upon placing our order for 2 filled jacket potatoes I was told they would be ready in about 10-20 minutes, which in actual fact turned out to be nearer 30 minutes. People ordering toasted sandwiches (the sandwiches were right there and simply had to be toasted) were told they would have to wait 20-30 minutes. When the food finally did arrive it was fine. There were lots of table in the eating area so despite the busyness it wasn't too hard to find somewhere to sit. And they do have a great system whereby you're given an electric device that flashes and vibrates when your meal is ready. This is great - it's just a shame it didn't flash and vibrate sooner! I expect that at a less busy time I would give this place more stars, but they need to work out a way of catering for the inevitable Christmas rush.

This is why I never bother with the coffee of sandwiches and order the sublime blueberry muffin or blueberry cheesecake with a hot chocolate or a chocolate frappucino (which I have recently discovered to be a more summery alternative to hot chocolate). This Starbucks is always busy and it can be hard to get a seat, the staff are friendly and the service good.
