I haven't written a 2 star in a while. I hope to make it back and upgrade, but not this day. I went to Krispy Kreme to get a dozen donuts. It was in the evening, so not busy at all. I pulled up to the sign and the lights were off, which seemed odd as it was still about an hour before close. I asked hello a couple times. I was close to driving away when someone answered, a long exasperated sigh, then just said "yes"? I asked for a dozen mixed. I got a short, curt, pull around. I pulled around and no one was at the window. After a couple minutes a gal came up with my box, did a wet cough as she shut the box, and kinda shoved it to me. It was impressively bad service. My guess is she didn't want customers the last hour of the day. I know it can be a tough job if you make it that, I've had the job, but its too bad she felt others had to deal with her day as well. I'm sure I'll stop back some day, odds are I'll have a different person to help me out. read more

There is an old phrase that says if you're going to arrive late to work, bring donuts. You see dear reader, if a person walks through the door with a dozen Krispy Kreme glazed donuts, why, they aren't late at all! No, no, they simply walked in after their scheduled start time BECAUSE they were procuring 12 little bites of heaven here on earth for the rest of their staff. That was my case with this particular Krispy Kreme establishment . The service I received was fast and friendly and boy oh boy just by reading this review you already know that those Krispy Kreme donuts were warm and cooked fresh to perfection. Being that it was already a tumultuous morning, I went ahead and enjoyed a strong cup of black coffee to offset the perfect deliciousness of those round rewards known as classic glazed donuts . 10/10 would return and honestly will return whether I'm running late or not read more

I love the hot original glazed doughnuts the best but I can never resist their Halloween series. Past years have included classic Universal monsters and the Ghostbusters. This year they outdid themselves with one of my all time favorite franchises, Scooby Doo. The Scooby Doo series includes three doughnuts based on the Original Glazed. The Scooby Dooby-Doo Doughnut is an Original Glazed doughnut dipped in the iconic turquoise blue icing, decorated with lime green icing swirls, orange cake batter buttercream center, and topped with a Scooby Doo chocolate. The Jinkies! Halloween Orange Sprinkle Doughnut: is an Original Glazed doughnut dipped in orange icing and decorated with a Halloween sprinkle blend. The Mystery Machine Doughnut: is an Original Glazed doughnut dipped in chocolate icing and chocolate sprinkles, decorated with Scooby-Doo lime green icing and a Mystery Machine chocolate. The last doughnut in the series is the Spooky Monster Cookies N' Kreme Doughnut: a filled doughnut with Oreo Cookies n' Kreme filling, dipped in purple icing, and decorated with Oreo pieces, black chocolate icing, and a Scooby-Doo monster chocolate. Zoinks! This is the ultimate Scooby Snack. Krispy Kreme knocked it out of the park with this collaboration. The colors are spot on and I loved the detail on each confection. What a great touch to resurrect some of the classic villains to make the chocolate pieces for the Spooky Monster doughnut. I was a huge fan of Scooby and the gang growing up and my daughter grew up loving him too. This triggered all of my nostalgia buttons. The doughnuts are super sweet so I cut mine up in quarters. Four doughnuts were $9.99. If you get a dozen they come in a collectors box. They are also selling the cutest Halloween mugs and drinkware. Thanks Krispy Kreme for delighting me with this trip down memory lane. read more

**Rating:** 1 star **Review:** I visited the Krispy Kreme location at 1240 West Hillsborough Blvd., Deerfield Beach, FL, on June 30th, 2025, around 4:57 PM, and had an extremely disappointing experience. The staff member, Kurteria, was rude and unprofessional, snapping at me to "hurry up" while I was deciding my order. When I asked to speak with a manager, she falsely claimed to be the manager. The donuts I received were dry, overcooked, and inedible, which was very disappointing given the reputation of Krispy Kreme. This behavior and the poor quality of the product are unacceptable. I've already reported this to corporate, but I want others to be aware of my experience at this specific location. Please address these issues to improve customer service and product quality. read more

Service is great but the fresh donuts aren't actually fresh they're just re ran through the hot glaze

The Grinchmas collection of donuts available for purchase are so festive. These are limited time for the holidays and are very reasonably priced. These four specialty donuts are Grinchy Claus doughnut, Grinch doughnut, Cindy Lou Who Merry Berry Doughnut, and Santa Belly doughnut. Each are unique in their own way by the way they are decorated to the flavors and inside filling. The Grinch Doughnut has a cookies and cream filling inside that was very tasty. The Santa Belly Doughnut has a delicious vanilla cream inside. The Grinchy Claus Doughnut had a chocolate icing with crunchy sprinkles on top. The last donut was the Cindy Lou Who Merry Berry Doughnut had a berry icing flavor on top. All in all my 2 favs are the Grinch and Santa Belly. The Donuts were soft and fresh even though it was late in the evening when I arrived at Krispy Kreme in Deerfield Beach, the service was quick with even a drive thru at this location. I have ordered from this location a few times because it is the only one in my area. usually do a mobile order and pick up. out of the dozen or so times I have visited, there was maybe one time where service was okay. The rest of the time the staff is rude, kind of aggressive, refuse to listen, and very short. I wish they had a different location to go to because I hate going there. The mobile order is always wrong, sometimes the donuts are not fresh and the staff is the worst. read more

Donuts were good but service wasn't. Half the donuts were mislabeled and the employee that was there kept mumbling and speaking at whisper volume and ended up giving me half the wrong donuts. As offered below in a recent comment, it's the service that can destroy a location and business. This location needs better help. Popped in while heading north for donuts for the teens. I ask the young woman at counter, after waiting my turn, if any specials exist. She says "only if you have a coupon". She then says "you got the app" that must have a special offer. I asked for a dozen and revisited if anything should or should not be included. She points to some ugly looking yellow cake batter donuts, luckily we won't touch those anyways ! 15.99 plus tax and we are gone. No pleasantry's and no tip. Had you simply been professional, nice, and helpful you would have sold more and likely had a couple extra bucks too. read more

Great donuts, world's better tasting than the crud they serve at Dunkin Donuts. We saw this branch as we were driving home from Home Depot around the corner and agreed that we had to check it out. They have a drive thru which is perfect for the pandemic. We ordered our donuts and had the box filled with 6 varieties within a few minutes. Krispy Kreme may be an every day thing for most in the area, but I've never had one and there are no branches in our area back home, so we were pretty excited. Anyway, these things are great! Decadent and ridiculously unhealthy for sure, but as far as donuts go; top notch. We got a dozen for around $15 bucks which is very reasonable for that many fresh donuts. Four stars from me. Stop by and get a yummy donut! read more

Ordered 2 dozen donuts at 12:45 to pick up at 3pm. I gave 2 hours notice because of the pumpkin donut special and wanted to make sure they had time to prepare my order. Drove all the way there for my work donuts only to be told that they have to cancel my order because they don't have any donuts. Even though a phone # and e-mail was provided with the on-line order, I received no notification and they only cancelled the order once I arrived. The remaining choices were minimal, no way I could settle for a different 2 dozen. When I asked how long before my order could be filled, I was told 1 1/2 - 2 hours. Very disappointing experience. read more

In short: New location, fast service I've always imagined heaven having a Buffet and in the dessert section will be a variety of Krispy Kreme donuts. Krispy Kreme rules the mass chain donut world, hands down. I came here because they have been running a promo for healthcare workers each Monday. The line was super long but moved fairly quickly. I got two complimentary boxes of original glazed and one box of mixed donuts. All of the donuts are delicious but my favorite is the glazed blueberry cake... the best I've tried in my 34 years of life. I would come back when in the area. read more

Krispy Kreme - Original glazed - Donuts Near Me - Deerfield Beach, Florida

The Krispy Kreme chain started in 1937 in North Carolina. At one time, there were stores all over the place. Then the trend cutting back or cutting out carbs started in a big way and people stopped buying as many sweets and doughnuts. Many of the stores closed in Florida. The only one left we knew about in our area was on US 1 in Fort Lauderdale. So when this new store opened a couple weeks back in Deerfield Beach, it was big news. Krispy Kreme is back. They still feature their original glazed doughnuts. They have a hot n now sign that is lit when they are fresh out of the oven. Their sign was lit, but the originals were more like warm and now. We've known another store to take a previously cooked doughnut and just add on hot glazing. That's what it seemed they did here today. It was still a melt in your mouth good doughnut. Even though they opened last week, they still had balloons and other things up inside. There's indoor seating as well as a drive through lane. Everything is still new, clean, and sparkling. The chain now also offers a number of variations in their doughnut choices in addition to the original. The variety ones cost a little bit more than the originals. We tried a lemon one and a chocolate glazed one filled with white cream, also. No doughnuts lasted more than the time it took to pay and carry the box from the counter to the table. They wouldn't pose for photos. But their sacrifice was not in vain. Thank goodness we'd had a big lunch or more doughnuts would have been victims as well. I'm sure if we're in the area, we will be back. It's an inexpensive stop for dessert or a sweet afternoon treat. read more

Always spot on! Always fresh! I ordered ten dozen for a work event. Order was ready when promised and the staff nice. Coffee was hot.

My girlfriend is a nurse and her friend had told her that Krispy Kreme was giving away free doughnuts to first responders. So we got in the car and drove over to our local Krispy Kreme. We went through the drive thru. A friendly person asked over the intercom what we wanted to order. My girlfriend said she was a nurse and the Krispy Kreme employee immediately told us to pull around to the window. We were handed TWO full boxes of still hot doughnuts. I've haven't had Krispy Kreme in a while and they were just as good as I remember. Liquid melting fricken gold. We ate two each. Could we have eaten a whole box you ask? Without batting an eye!! However, the rest are going with my girlfriend to where she works for the other nurses and doctors. Krispy Kreme, by stepping up and helping first responders, you've earned my loyalty. Plus, let's be honest. Krispy Kreme doughnuts are really really good especially when hot. Well done! read more

Terrible location. The door is never open but the drive-through always is. Went there August 1st, 2024. Door closed, drive-through open. But you can't SEE the donuts from the drive-through! Wasn't busy either. Walked up to the drive-through window and a woman said the front door will be open "between 7:30 and 8" when someone comes in. How am I supposed to know that? I do NOT want to go to the drive-through. If it says you're open at 6, I should be able to go to the counter. And since I was literally the only person there, I think this woman probably could have handled the volume. She suggested I "get in my vehicle" -- I did, but not to place an order. This isn't the first time I've seen a closed door. And why don't they open the door and close the drive-through? Makes no sense. read more

I love Krispy Kreme doughnuts . I get excited when I see their sign lit up announcing that the doughnuts are hot. Those hot doughnuts are the original glazed. The filled and other doughnuts aren't sold hot. Unfortunately I never had a Krispy Kreme shop near my house. When Clyde and I passed a Krispy Kreme shop we'd pull over and buy two dozen donuts. They're Clyde's favorite also, he loves the plain glazed. They smell so good. Part of the first dozen would be gone before we got home. Needless to say I sure was happy when I heard that a new Krispy Kreme shop was opening in Deerfield, which is about fifteen minutes away from my house. We've been to this shop several times. Clyde always gets the glazed. I've tried a few of the filled doughnuts. The raspberry is so good. They have a drive through window. A list of available flavors is posted outside of the window. They often have specials. Recently they were giving away a free doughnut every day during doughnut week. If you sign up for their rewards program you'll get a free doughnut just for signing up, and for your birthday. Their coffee is great also. They have both hot and cold coffee, lattes, mochas, and cappuccino. read more

I love donuts or as Krispy Kreme spells it, doughnuts. In my opinion, the best donuts anywhere in this area are Plain Glazed Krispy Kreme Doughnuts. I sometimes wake up at 3:30 in the morning and have one, heated up for 10 seconds in the microwave! What a fabulous taste treat! Krispy Kreme participated in donut week this past week. They gave everyone a free donut of their choice once a day for a week. It was a brilliant promotion because I'm sure they attracted many, many new customers to get addicted to that wonderful sugary, mouth-watering perfection!!! I think I'll go and get a dozen now that I'm thinking of it! read more

Just an update from the last review, something was definitely off with the donuts today at Krispy Kreme. Not only were they smaller they had and weird taste to it. I knew that was a problem with it, and my fiancé, who usually licks her fingers clean, decided to use a napkin. Who doesn't love a fresh hot gooey Krispy Kreme doughnut? That's precisely what I got tonight after I verify they just came out of the oven. I have to admit my shirt and I totally enjoyed the sugar glaze of that doughnut Tonight we decided to do the drive-through and I realized nobody follows the 6 feet apart rule as everybody was bumper to bumper in the car, but I guess when you're in the car, you don't need to follow the 6-foot rule. I hope you smiled a little I hope you realize that all these restaurants are doing everything they can to make sure everyone is safe. My advice to you, stay away so I can go in there and not have any crowds, but you have nothing to worry about regarding safety issues. Everybody inside the restaurant were wearing masks and gloves and the only complaint I have regarding masks and gloves is that you can't understand what people are saying to you as they sound like they have marbles in their mouth. But that's a small price to pay for safety or I need to get my ears cleaned because I'm going deaf read more

If Superman weakness is Kryptonite, then my weakness is definitely Krispy Kreme and no matter how hard I try to drive past this mecca for delicious doughnuts, the glowing neon red "Hot Now" sign always sucks me in, but it obviously is not my fault, I simply can't stop myself. I absolutely love the original glazed doughnuts, especially when they roll hot off the presses, but I also really enjoy the chocolate iced kreme filled (the white icing version, not the yellow custard stuff) and I probably would love every other variety they make, but those two are the ones I order the most. Drive thru is a godsend as it makes it so effortless to just swing on by for a quick snack and if you have more time, then a visit inside will most definitely be even more pleasurable as you get the full sensory experience. In order to counter balance the calories of a doughnut or two, I will order a Diet Coke, because there is no sense overdoing it these days. So, there you go....I love this place and it deserves 5 stars. read more

The donuts are good when they are fresh. They seem to be out of almost all specialty donuts any time I go which is extremely disappointing.

This is more about Krispy Kreme in general. It makes zero sense that all it carries are donuts and donut holes and coffee. Dunkin' has all that and many breakfast sandwiches, muffins, and alot more and the same for every other donut place I know. Plus alot of the time there is a stock out on multiple donuts, so choices are rather limited. Krispy Kreme holds no competitive advantages whatsoever, so I shy away and go to Dunkin' instead. read more
