So so sad....went to this location around 2pm on a Sunday, and they are pretty much out of donuts. NO ORIGINAL at all in any form. Over half of the menu they are put of. This location is open till 10pm. Why be open if you have no donuts. What's the point. To disappoint you customers so they never return. ORIGINAL are the best ones. Why are you making them hourly? They also need to get a new speaker or someone who speaks loud to even hear them. This location has major issues. read more

Over time, I think their donuts have just gotten smaller in time at all locations, but the texture is generally the same and I still appreciate the window to their donut making process and seeing the overall hygiene of the place. The smallest Krispy Kreme I've been to. Service felt hurried and not friendly. It wasn't very busy and I felt rushed placing our order. The dining area looked clean and had a few tables to sit at. In addition to their regular glazed ones there were plenty of other flavors too. Krispy Kreme was busy and the staff did a great job keeping up with the orders. The iced coffee was delicious! Smooth and good balance of cream to coffee. We enjoyed the donuts, and even froze some. Krispy Kreme donuts freeze very well. In the custard donuts, while it was yummy, I would have preferred a little more filling. The person who took my order did an excellent job of packaging the donuts. In the middle of nowhere, but worth the drive for their Sweet or Treat promo they were doing during every Saturday in the month of October. The drive thru isn't super busy during the afternoons, but the people lining up inside should be avoided since they were standing so close to each other. I had one of everything in the regular menu. I also tried the Halloween themed donuts: Wolfie, Frankie, Drago, and the Halloween glazed donuts. I didn't like them more compared to the good old fashioned glazed doughnut. The Halloween doughnuts were nice for the season though. Be warned that the Reese's pieces doughnut is the most likely to be sold out fast, and that the doughnuts aren't really hot unless you go in the morning. Parking isn't good even though they have a decently sized lot. Going through the drive thru is easy and quick, but you'll have to yell for the workers inside to hear you. read more

I absolutely love Krispy Kreme donuts, but I am finding as time goes by, the donuts are getting so much smaller while the prices are getting higher. Today I was at the maple street, Akron store and ordered a box of original glazed and a box of the chocolate iced and the icing on the chocolate donuts was almost non-existent. In addition, the donuts used to fill up the box and now you could almost fit another row of donuts in there. On a positive note, I want to give a shout out to the friendly staff who work at this Krispy Kreme location (Maple Street, Akron), but I need to know what's going on with the size of the donuts, the lack of the chocolate frosting, and the inconsistencies in general. The red light draws you in knowing you can get a freshly made donut. They are fabulous when warm. My favorite is the Raspberry donut. There is a nice balance of donut and filling. The filling has a great taste. For those who love their glazed donuts, they now have a glazed donut syrup for coffees if you want to add it. It adds a little bit of a sweet taste to it. There were none in Cleveland so I never had their goodness and deliciousness. Then on to the state of Washington only one near Tacoma and I was shocked moving back to the Cleveland Ohio area and finding there was one on the west side. Finally made it when they were open! The staff were very helpful and the doughnut selection was outstanding. I was even able to get some glazed that were still warm, Yum-Yum. Picked up several dozen for my spouse's work and my own. Daughter couldn't wait had one in the car, she said it melted in her mouth. I went to this Krispy Kreme when the neon sign was glowing, which means the original glazed that you order will be hot. I ordered a dozen and their hard and cold. Wasted 6.99 on these COLD doughnuts. We don't live anywhere near this place but we're happy to drive out there as one of my kids is simply obsessed with their donuts- and who can blame him? This is the only location for miles and miles, you'd think quality would be on point. Especially still at 10am. Doughnuts might be my favorite food on earth! I have to say I live over 45 minutes from this place and I am always making excuses to go there. I gained about 10 lbs in 6 months time over Krispy Kreme. That means two things: I love Krispy Kreme and I need to eat less of them. They have a "hot light app" that will tell you when the doughnuts are coming off the conveyer belt fresh. I had the opportunity to introduce a European colleague of mine to The Best Glazed Donuts on planet Earth, at this location while we were in Parma on business. I explained the significance of the lit sign as we pulled up, which was inconveniently off at the time. We got them anyway, and they were great. Intrigued, my colleague suggested we stop in again, and this time the donuts were just rolling toward the glaze waterfall as we made our order - a spectacular sight: a sort of liquid sugar Niagara. We got the first two of the batch: almost too hot to eat... almost. They were excellent. We stopped by one last time on his last day, and sign was obligingly lit, with the donuts having just had time to crystallize fully, but still warm inside. Outstanding!
