Yum! Accidentally came across Krispy Kreme today while on my way home from downtown Akron. So excited because I haven't seen a Krispy Kreme since I, pre-COVID, last visited relatives in a neighboring state. This is a fun location. Love the signage and the staff was friendly , helpful and fun! I ordered a dozen variety, and the donuts were fresh. I like to heat the original glazed in the microwave, which I did when I got home. Had one with the large coffee I ordered. Delicious! My other family members have been enjoying the other flavors of donuts since I brought them home. Their coffee is delicious too. I ordered a dozen mixed donuts through Uber Eats. I have kids staying with me who have a mom in the hospital so this was a treat for them. An hour after ordering, I got a call from my Uber driver saying that the employees told her they don't have any of my donuts and that I should call Uber for a refund. I called the shop, spoke a girl that couldn't use complete sentences, but told me that they don't have any donuts, and that she would refund me. I asked if they had any donuts at all, and she said "uh, yeah hold on" and put a man on the phone. The man explained that they had had a busy day and that's how it goes and they don't have my donuts and that he would start a refund. I asked if he could just replace the types that I ordered with any other donuts. Here, he started hacking and coughing and telling me that they had some glazed and some blueberry that they could send me. I suppose it was because of his coughing fit that he put me on the phone with yet another girl, who could at least hold a normal conversation. She listed all the donuts they had, which was eight or nine types, several of which were in my order. Nobody seemed to have any idea why I was confused that they kept saying they 'didn't have any donuts' and just wanted to cancel my order, rather than replace the two that they had run out of. The whole thing was weird and honestly sounded like a sh*t-show. If it weren't for the kids I had promised a treat to, I would let them refund it. Will definitely not be ordering there again. Crossing my fingers that man was at least not coughing like that over the donuts they're packing for us. read more

Hot fresh doughnuts, how can you go wrong! This location has a drivethrough, small seating area and a viewing window so you can watch them making the doughnuts. Pretty cool. They have a great selection to choose from and a friendly staff. We stopped in this morning because they were making solar eclipse doughnuts, so for the occasion we had to try some. As to our surprise, our eye caught some other delicious sounding treats as well. We ordered the eclipse, Reeses peanut butter, N.Y. cheesecake, cinnamon bun and the Bart Simpson Doughnuts. Not only did they look stunningly appealing, true to flavor, they were all really indulgent. So next time we see the hot and ready neon on we will gladly pull in. read more

The employees here are ALWAYS stuck up, rude, disrespectful, nonchalant, dumb sluts. I would always ask them how they are doing and they would ignore me. They are always just not friendly in general. I would be sitting at the drive thru and see employees in there, and they would avoid the window and not take my order. These things have happened on multiple visits to this location. I have left 2 stars because the donuts are always good. But they are only sometimes warm. P.S. Ms. Keyonna is very rude. read more

I love Krispy Kreme donuts and I am so happy that there is one located in my hometown. However, I think the store could use an upgrade all around. I was disappointed with the quality of service I received. I felt like the girls behind the counter could have been a little more friendlier. I felt like I was inconveniencing them. The store is a little dingy compared to other Krispy Kreme locations I have been to. Many of the featured donuts were also unavailable when I went. Will I go back? This rating is has some stipulations: 1) if u go in the morning when they are fresh making donuts it's 5 stars. When I bought a dozen donuts in the morning they gave them to me hot off the conveyer belt. They were warm and delicious. They even gave me a free sample. They were so good and worth the trip. 2) if u go in the evening I give it 3 stars, u may as well go to ur local gas station and get the Krispy Kreme. It's about the same quality maybe a touch fresher, but it's not worth the drive. read more

Over the past five years, the service here has gotten terrible. Many times they don't have any of the special flavors. But the rude employees are awful. They give free donuts to their friends and are too busy to even serve customers. When they do serve you, they are rude - tonight even giving their friend a half dozen of special flavor they said they didn't even have. I love the warm donuts when the HOT sign is on. When you are waiting in line, they give you a free glazed donut. Their coffee can't be beat. By the time I get home, I'll admit, in 30-40 minutes or more if traffic is bad, I can easily woof down a 1/2 dozen of these artery clogging buggers. But when they are fresh and warm? You just have to eat them. No excuses. The only thing about this location is that there is no bathroom and it's small. On Sunday mornings when the HOT sign comes on @10am, the line is easily out the door and no place to sit. Nonetheless, don't let that deter you from coming in and grabbing a dozen or two. listen, if you buy them in any store, you are missing out. Run, just run. Go, right now. UNBELIEVABLE!! App says they open @ 5:30 and the DOOR says they open at 5:30. I got there early 1/20/16 because my boss wanted me to get four dozen doughnuts for all of us at work. I got to the door at 5:25 ( I wanted to be the first in line ) and it was raining. Then a nice gentleman got in line behind me, then a girl in scrubs. We all were waiting in the the rain while time ticked on. There were workers inside but no one would unlock the door even though it was after 5:30. Finally the older, unmotivated woman ( who has waited on me before and was rude ) holds her hands up to signal that they open at 6:00 - are ya kidding me?? So needless to say I had to leave doughnut-less because I work in Twinsburg and had to get to work. Stopped in for a dozen mixed donuts. Haven't had them for awhile. Lady helping at counter was not paying attention to the order, and when we got to the car we noticed she didn't include the donuts our daughter requested. When I ran back in she took out one donut from our box that already left the store....and I watched her put it back on the shelf as she made room in the box for the correct one! Ewwww gross! How did she know we didn't touch that donut already!!!! To top it off the donuts were barely filled with filling and hard!!!wont go back anytime soon.
