This is my favorite burger place in Berlin. The inside is small and quaint but the outside seating is perfect for people watching and enjoying the Berlin vibe. The burgers are well seasoned and the toppings add a fun twist on a classic meal. The crazy fries are my favorite because they are perfectly seasoned and not too salty. The onion rings are good, but if you had to choose - go for the crazy fries. The workers are very quick and have the food out in a timely manner. The day staff is a little more laid back, but at night they seem to be a bit more quick paced. All in all, one of my favorite places for a quick bite! read more

A disappointing experience. The first time I walked in I faced the cashier argue with a customer who asked for something. I walked out because it was too stressful to watch. Then I tried it again. There was almost no one in line and the person taking order was so moody and over me being there. I ordered and he ran out of change to give me. Said I should sit down and he'll find change. The change never came and I was tired of waiting so I left. The food was mediocre. The burger was strangely salty. The fries were bizarrely flavored. Than goodness for ketchup to hide the gross flavor. Anyways, there are plenty of burger places in p-berg. If you can go to them. read more

Meh, I would have loved to give a higher rating but my burger was disappointing - not sure how you can mess up a Chili Hamburger (3.50 Euro) but Kreuzburger managed to do that. Meat - tasteless and dry. The bun - too dry. The lettuce - only sprinkled upon the meat. The store itself was super cold (no heating?) that makes you want to get your burger to go. Too bad it's -6C outside so you better stick to indoors. My friend got the BBQ burger (5 Euro) that was a bit better but lacked actual BBQ sauce. Quite essential for a BBQ burger, isn't it? Bummer the quality wasn't great this time. There are some more burger choices in the neighborhood which will need to be explored. read more

We ended up here as a second option since the great vietnamese we were supposed to go to was full. It was sold as a good burger place, and it's just that. It's Ok. Unfortunately the UK is all over the burger trend and we have had so much better in the last 12 months that this didn't quite made the cut. Good but nothing spectacular...very well priced though. read more

They have horrible delivery service. Stay away from it! Today, I had a very painful experience getting my order. The deliverer refused to look for my house and asked me to come downstairs and look for him instead. This is really shitty when you have fever, headache and should stay in bed. When I crawled downstairs, his car was parked in front of my house entrance and the deliverer was totally displeased that I made him wait. Deliciously filling and oozing with quality and freshness, my chicken burger came with plenty of fixins, great sauce and melted cheese bringing me back to California for about 5-10 minutes while I was inhaling everything but the plate The fries were full of potato (unlike every other french fry place in Berlin which serve yellow french fry casings filled with grease), and fried perfectly to a crunchy perfection. Along with a Bionade, everything came to a doo-able 7 euros. Definitely recommend this place, and the despite the small size, the ambiance and comfortable vibe in this place was much bigger than the square footage would suggest. read more

I would reallly like to give it a 3.5. The Neuland meat is tasty (but also available at several other burger places.) However, this place pulls the whole burger deal together better than many others. I'm American, and almost as picky about my burgers as my Mexican food, so I can't go crazy over simply avoiding screwing things up terribly, and that's about where I'm landing. (Also, I was there while most of their food supplies were being delivered, so I'm under no delusions about hand-cut fries, fresh buns, or the like). Hence 3, not 4, stars. There are 5 or 6 indoor tables, clean, pleasant counter staff, 4 types of fries, lots of options for burgers. Gouda as the cheese, but oh well: Cheddar's a bad cheese, as I was told by a waiter at a supposedly American restaurant here. :) Basically, a good resource for a burger in P-burg. I've added times and website above. They also have hot dogs, salads, burritos (don't get your hopes up) and snacks like chicken wings and mozzarella sticks. And Ben + Jerry's. (I brought the menu homenot just an observant eye.) Still water, Neuland CB with extra käse, and curly fries came to 8.10 EUR. Also, while adding some place info, I noticed they deliver free with an 8,00 EUR order, from 12.00-22.00, and are open very late. 02.45 Sun-Thurs, 04.00 Fri. and Sat! Nice alternative if you've been bar hopping in the area and want something other than a döner (sorry, can't do umlauts). read more

If it hadn't been for the sweet pickles I would have thought I was eating a burger at home in Milwaukee. The patty was cooked to around medium, a rare site in Berlin. I got the cheeseburger which came with a nice sauce but was a little salty. We also had the blue cheese burger which was a hit. The buns were the perfect American consistency. We also got the curly fries which were completely amazing; hot, crispy and well seasoned. Absolutely perfect. I was stuffed. I thought the interior was clean and attractive. The service was polite and quick, probably because we came a little later in the evening. Plus they were playing some pretty awesome mid 90's R&B. My only criticism is that the bathroom is an absolute horror show, avoid at all costs. read more

The burgers taste ok, but I don't really like the beef being so thin. I did not notice a big difference between the normal beef and the Neuland beef (I tried both) - maybe they made a mistake and gave me the regular beef twice! I would definitely not order another burrito, it resembles some weird mexican form of lasagna. Do get the home-made chips instead of regular fries, they are much better. I will definitely be going again, after all the staff are friendly and the burgers are alright. read more

It's fine. I like that the kitchen is open, the staff seem to be very clean and organised (always a plus in independent fast food joints). The burger is fine but imminently forgetable. Although I do like that they don't put any "special" sauce on the cheeseburger. read more

We went to Kreuzburger today for a "quick" burger for dinner. It was a little after 7 PM and the restaurant was somewhat crowded, but we were able to find a seat. We both ordered the smallest size cheeseburger with regular fries. And then we waited, and waited some more. We saw numerous delivery orders leave, while every patron in the restaurant was without food and just glaring at their order slip. One group of girls went up to the counter and complained. They ended up taking their food to go and in doing so their food came out before others who had been waiting longer. After about 25-30 minutes we finally got our burgers. We should have ordered the medium sized burger patty. Although tasty, the bun/toppings to burger patty ratio was almost 2:1. They use curry ketchup, but unlike other places, the taste is not overwhelming. The fries were perfectly crisp. read more

I kept walking past this place and never really went inside. When my usual spot rejected us because we got there I decided to try it. Its a self service place and when your number comes up, the cooks announces it. It was a very friendly vibe. The vegetables on my burger were fresh, especially for that time of day.. (10:30pmO. The patty was well cooked and not dry.. My only wish is that they had a better drink selection. Its more of an eat an go situation, more than a sit and enjoy conversation situation. read more

Must say the burger is ok I this place, however the fries are a total disaster! I ordered the same country fries in another Kreuzburger and they were nice, golden pieces and WITH sour cream on the side. Which is why I ordered them in the first place. Here they were massive pieces of potato which were not even cooked through!!! When we complained to the staff they said it was the speciality of the place :D read more
