Initial response to Inquiry was prompt and an appt was scheduled. However on day of appt, they did…read morenot show up and I messaged to find out they had an emergency roof project since 7am so can not come out and would need to reschedule. I completely understand that their emergency roof project is a priority and we can not control Mother Nature. They apologized and I said I could send pictures for an estimate. I mentioned I would appreciate knowing ahead in the future since I also had errands to run for my business but waited since appt was confirmed. I then received a response that the owner no longer wants to pick up my project. We all have emergencies and work to do. It's just common sense professional courtesy to notify others when you can't come out, have an emergency, or need to reschedule rather than keeping one waiting without any notification. Then cancelling because someone tells you that it would have been appreciated if you notify a client ahead of time that you weren't going to show up. Though they may have been great with someone else, I will never know since that opportunity was lost with me.
