Given the puppy's breed and determination, she required quite a bit of foundational training. Since returning home, she's a pro on the leash (complete transformation). Walks are far more enjoyable - no more barking, pulling, lunging towards moving vehicles, and now has a peaceful relationship with the mail box and trash can. Another high priority was addressing the puppy's reactiveness to our child - puppy is now able to follow my lead during potentially chaotic interactions. He's a five-pound chihuahua who shakes when someone new walks in the room and basically lived on my lap or behind my knees. I'd worried a trainer would either give up on him or scare him worse, but from the very first day Gina put so much thought into making him feel safe. She texted that afternoon to say he'd already jumped into her daughter's arms. When he barely ate the first couple days and I got worried, she talked me through it and told me he'd come around, which he did. She took him on long walks around the park and the neighborhood to burn off his nerves before she ever asked anything of him. His crate became his safe spot at her house, a familiar place that was all his in the middle of a busy home with other dogs and parrots and training going on. And she started him on tiny, predictable rules, sitting before a door, coming when called, so he always had something he understood to hold onto in a new situation. She explained that for an anxious dog, knowing what to expect is half the battle. She also refused to pick him up every time he got scared, and warned me that part would be harder for me than for him. She was right. Somewhere around the second week he started smiling in the photos. He was hanging out with her little dogs and her family, going on field trips to the park and coffee shops, staying on his place while she walked away, heeling next to her. She more or less did as she pleased when she wanted. She had us trained. We camp almost every weekend and she goes with us on all our trips. It had been a nightmare, she would pull on the leash when walking her and grab the leash out of our hands, jump up on people and their dogs, and rush out of the door of the RV with little recall. We now have a dog that is much nicer on the leash and is able to play nice with other dogs. Three years later, we fostered another dog named Ellie. Ellie had no manners and we wanted to adopt her, but we needed to make sure that she got along with Cthulhu. We used Jen again to identify the issues and sources of apprehension between both dogs. Both dogs get along well now. We also have Ellie enrolled in Jens obedience class and Ellie is responding very well. The training techniques that Jen uses make it very easy to understand how to train your dog.

The Manager Katty responded "he was in a treat break and all is fine" Second day same thing and we call them again and the Manager responding "they are out for a break and all is good" Okay. Next day I called to let her know that we going to pick him up at 4pm. Asked for the bath and get him ready. My husband went to pick him up and he noticed that my dog had injuries in his face both sides. The owner of the dog stop was there and she asked what happened with him to her staff and the young boy who watches the dogs said "he was playing aggressively with another dog and couldn't separate them" When he got home with my dog I soon they walked in the house I noticed clearly that my dog face was swallowed very much. I took a closer look and saw missing pieces of skin. The right side worse than the other one. We took a pictures and sent a complaint email to the Dog stop for the negligence and carelessness with my dog. We never get any response from them. We brought my dog to the Pet Hospital and they test and give him a skin treatment using strong medicine and cone. The medicine prescribed was for any inflammation, skin abnormalities, skin trauma. According to The Pet Hospital they say "can't say what was the cause or what happened they only see the facts and give the right treatment" We approached to the Dog place the Mgr wasn't there but we left the veterinarian records about my dog treatment. Later Mgr. Katty called saying my email went to spam email and my dog didn't have any injuries and nothing. She didn't know when it happened and probably he did himself" Also said spoke with my dog Hospital and they never said was a bite by dog" But they never said it wasn't neither because they don't know! Obviously she tried to play down and avoid any responsibility of neglecting my dog. Trying to put all the weight of this situation on my dog doctors statement. Never offered any apology or compensation for what happened or find any solution or alternative. Poor customer service! I will never bring my dog here again!!!
