However the variety of choices for some individual things, (like bedspreads and other linens) is somewhat limited. There are only a few styles and colors for twin size beds, but more for king and queen. Other items like framed pictures have more choices. Seasonal and holiday items are displayed well. Staff is limited in numbers, but very helpful when you locate them-which you might have to do to find what you are seeking, because the place is so large.

But when it came to the quality of the furniture and price I found Parker Family and was really impressed that when I placed the order, I got a personal phone call from Mr. Parker himself. It really is a family business and they operate with integrity and kindness. I had some things I needed help with and David was quick to reply, helpful and more then willing to serve. The very next piece of furniture I need, I will call them first. Thanks Parker Family Furniture for making our relocation much easier than I would have expected.

Wow, this place is huge!…read more Trying to furnish your new home on the cheap? This "re-store" is the place to do it. Whether you need a new couch, coffee table, window, or toilet seat, this thrift store is so much more. It also serves as as a builder close out, so they actually have a lot of building materials if your home upgrading is a little more handy-man than my hang-some-cool-artwork method. As Janet mentioned, they do know what their stuff is worth, so on the furniture end, you probably won't walk away with any amazing bargains. But for reasonably priced second hand furniture with a huge selection to chose from, this is the place to go. And, all the proceeds go to Habitat for Humanity, how cool is that? Something to keep an eye out for: At least once a year they have a huge sale where everything in the store is 50%, so keep an eye out for that ton really get those good bargains!

You'd probably need to ask for help with them because they are difficult to get to and look at since it's all stacked on top of each other and behind other furniture. They also have some fabric and books, but not nearly the quantity they used to. Lots of electronics and dishes, cups if you need any of that! Masks are required and they have Lysol wipes and hand sanitizer at the entrance. There is a sign saying you must have a cart with you in order to control how many people can come in, but it wasn't enforced at all.

As far as American Freight, they are sweet as honey!! Miss Mary and Miss Gloria were so helpful!!…read moreMiss Mary took her time to explain their process, and I appreciate her patience! I'd give them 5 stars, BUT their delivery service they refer? ...ummmm, that's a big FAT NO. They WILL do next-day-delivery, which is awesome!! but they charge you for every little thing they DON'T want to do. They prefer only local delivery. Like 10 miles I assume...keep reading. As pictured, this company, RonGetItDone Delivery & Moving. Hers what went down: Ron (owner) asked me: how far away do you live. And I replied 46 miles. The website, American Freight, shows $150 & up. Well, the "& up" is the tricky part. That's if you're OVER 50 miles. I live 46 miles from the store. This company, this man, wants to be petty and charge extra because he JUST delivered not far from there, yesterday. Ummm, I'm so sorry, that's not a "me problem", that's a "YOU problem". Do you deliver or do you not? Do you want to get paid, or do you not? THEN, now here's the kicker: his BROTHER calls me, first thing, on delivery day, telling me, it's gonna be a 2 hour ROUND trip, so he's GOT to charge me $180, because that's really far away from the store. I told him again the website says, 150, I can only pay 160. Well, in the end, I dwindled him down to $160. Delivery time was: Next day, which was awesome, leave the store around 11, get loaded, and get on the road by 12, get to me by 1. C'mon, that's 46 miles, 50 min-ish. So, 2:30 rolls around, and I'm like, where is he already?? So, I call him. He says, "Well, this is his brother, and his truck broke down, he hasn't called anyone to tell them he's not coming. BUT, you were told today, so I'm coming alone in my truck. Now, you don't live upstairs, do you?" I said, yes. He was hesitant to respond. He said, well, I left the store 15 min ago, I'm on my way. So, in conclusion, do not use the delivery service they refer! They're rude, they do not communicate well with you, and they sure do not like working cause they find all these excuses not to come out to you., regardless of what the website says. Smh!!
