Nice location to eat at but the crawfish I had bought was not purged long enough and didn't get enough rest after the boil. The shells of the mud bugs where squishy and some of them were black. Overall would not recommend. read more

Crawfish have good flavor, they could be cleaned better. Lots of soft/straight and broken up ones. But mostly decent sized. Crab clusters not worth the money at all, small and rubbery and the meat doesn't want to come out without falling apart. Sausage was okay but undercooked and pink center. Corn is good, potatoes are good if they aren't mostly golf ball sized. This place could do better with ensuring each customer gets butter with their order.. we spent a lot of money and didn't get any butter, mind you I had enough food for 5 or 6 people. The man was hesitant to give me any more after he gave me 2 butters I had to ask for. read more

I've been getting Crawfish at multiple locations as I work my way north from Port Aransas, love them mudbugs. This was one of the best boils I've had on this trip, also had the boudin and by suggest of the owner the alligator sausage both were amazingly good. read more

Since moving to the truck on Highway 259 we have really enjoyed picking up crawfish, shrimp, sausage, corn, mushrooms, and potatoes. We are from New Orleans and have loved the ability to get seafood here in Texas. We have tried all the crawfish places within an hour of Longview and we think this place is the best. Now I won't say that they taste exactly like home but they are close. In New Orleans places boils so fast and have such huge demand that the mudbugs don't sit in the water very long. If they soak too long the spice heat can be unbearable to eat and we like heat. The other thing is that every single place here has love in the boil mix that they use to spice the crawfish. Clove isn't in Zaterain's which is what we use. Krawdaddy's has the least taste of clove. So all in all, this is the best boil to be had in and near Longview Texas. C' Est si Bon! read more

Not bad, just not the best around town. I miss being able to dial up the level of spiciness like you could when this place was in a building just down the road off Hwy 259. I ordered two pounds of shrimp and paid nearly $30.00 for it. Thought the box felt light for two pounds so I weighed it when I got home and it was 17.60 ounces (in the container!!)! Went back and explained to the owner, and he said "it's two pounds before it's boiled". I'm sorry, you don't put two pounds of shrimp in to boil and end up with one pound when it comes out! He then asked "if there were 30 shrimp in it?". I said that I didn't count the shrimp but does that really matter? Two pounds is two pounds. He said "30 shrimp equals two pounds!" He continued to try to reason the discrepancy out for me so I finally just said thank you, took my $30, ONE pound of shrimp and left! We will obviously not be back. read more
