I'm a picky eater and at first thrown off by the little balls of steak and the liquid cheese. But I ate it and it's wasn't bad. The street tacos were brought next and hubs enjoyed them. If you don't believe it, you can watch it being done behind a glass just off the lobby. It's served on a plate, with grilled onions, a hot pepper, and a few slices of lime. Bean (not re-fried, but real beans) and rice are available as a side. Nothing fancy about this place, as David H, pointed out, but the food is front and center, as it should be. It's on the south side of Longview. At lunch half the patrons first language probably isn't English. At dinner, the percentage is probably a good bit higher. But I've always been made to feel welcome and I don't speak a lick of Spanish. The waitstaff has always spoken good English. The restaurant also seems to do a decent take out business, and once you try the chicken, you'll understand why. The flan is pretty good, too.
