They use such advance equipment. I was sitting in such a comfortable chair that has a massager connected to it while you're being worked on. I was also given a pillow to rest my legs on. along with his assistant they worked so well together. He did not rush with doing my work or pass me on to someone else to finish me. You can tell he cared about giving good service. A lot of times you go to an office, and they have students doing the major work on you. I have no problem with the students doing the minor work but not the major work. It was such a pleasure being there I set up to get everything that I need to get me back on track. From the very beginning, they were kind, thorough, and never once made me feel pressured. They took full X-rays, explained everything clearly, and walked me through a treatment plan -- but at no point did they make me feel like I had to book anything or feel bad about how much work I needed or how anxious I was. After reviewing the treatment plan at home, I booked a filling appointment, which went great. The dental hygienists and dentist were efficient, gentle, and genuinely kind. Because of that experience, I felt comfortable enough to schedule my next appointment for three extractions (which I was understandably very nervous about). The day of the extractions, the dental hygienist checked on me constantly, and the dentist worked so quickly and smoothly that when he finished, I honestly asked if all three teeth were already out -- it was that easy. The front office staff also deserves a huge shout-out. They are incredibly kind and patient, especially with my anxiety (I'm sure I've made a few nervous phone calls), and they've never once made me feel rushed or judged. This practice truly makes you feel safe, respected, and supported. They don't make you feel ashamed that life happened -- they help you move forward without judgment. The front office staff, Dawn, was extremely helpful and informed me she would check benefits and call me prior to coming in if there was a copayment due at the time of service. My daughter and I walked into a cramped office with little space to walk. I couldn't see the waiting area right off the back and the office was so small so we stood in front of the entrance door which still left us in front of the front desk. We weren't shown the waiting room or offered to take a seat. Dawn informed me in the office that I did not have dental coverage when in fact I did. Our appt was at 2p and we waited for nearly 30-45mins while she verified benefits again- something that should've been done prior to coming in. After standing by the door for a while, I found the waiting area and took a seat. There were dead crickets on the floor and a television that was off. The waiting room was so small I could reach the other side of the wall by extending my leg while sitting on a chair placed on the opposite side. Dawn finally verified dental was covered and Cindy called us back. There was no room in the dental room for me to sit. I stood at the doorway while my scared daughter sat on the chair for her first dental check up. I found a chair I could possibly sit in and Cindy rudely exclaimed, "I'm sitting there" as she was opening up a tooth brush package. She spoke to my daughter extremely loud and slow as if we didn't understand English. She flossed, brushed, and applied fluoride on my daughter's teeth all within 5 minutes. She prepared my daughter's dental bag and put in a timer, the used floss and toothbrush she already used on my daughter-- not even washed-- and handed it to my daughter. The dentist came in, looked at her teeth, and left. We got set up for a follow up appointment in 6 months but weren't even offered to select a day or time. As soon as Cindy handed me the appointment card we walked out. I buckled my daughter into her carseat and shortly after, Cindy walked out of the office and left. My 3 year old and I were in the office from 2p -3p and the whole check up lasted 5 minutes... 7 minutes tops. No X-rays were taken and she was a new patient with her first dental check up ever. We were given used floss and a used, unwashed toothbrush as opposed to a toothbrush and floss still in the package. I don't even think that's hygienic regardless if they were used on my daughter. The front office experience could have been prevented if they checked benefits before hand. The whole back office experience seemed rushed. My daughter and I will definitely NOT be going back.
