These guys did a great job. Hope I don't ever have an accident with my car, but if do, they would be the first call. Professional and knowledgeable and did great work. Thanks guys! read more

Great communication! Helped me out with their honest opinion when my car was hit recently. Great service!

I recently took my truck to Kraftsman for detailing. I'm committed to keeping it in tip top shape, hoping to extend its lifespan as I still LOVE IT just as much as the day I drove it off the showroom floor 27 years ago! While Kraftsman outsources the detailing, for logical reasons, they still fully stand behind the results! When I requested a touch up (since I'm quite particular), they redid the whole truck without any fuss and at no extra charge, demonstrating their true dedication to client satisfaction!! I'm thrilled with how it turned out! In addition, I was running late to pick her up and the owner, Dan, graciously stayed 15 minutes past closing time to wait for me. Very satisfied client here! Highly recommend! 6 stars for customer service!! read more

Such a great experience working with them. Very communicative throughout the process and when I got the car back it was like brand new with the detailing they did both interior and exterior. read more

Upfront and super helpful. My car looks fantastic, super impressed with their work. Shout out to the detailing job too.

If you appreciate a walk back in time to the way the car business used to be, as I sometimes do, this shop is wonderful. No frills, just good tunes on an old boom box. The brothers make you feel like part of the family, customer service without pretension. They also took care of all the details of handling the fussy insurance company connections and paperwork. Oh yes, my car - hail damage - came out like brand new. Very happy! Highly recommend. read more

These guys did amazing work and were extremely easy to work with. Needed a dent and scratches on an X5 to be fixed. They had it done in less than a week and was materially more affordable than every other place I called. I hope I don't need them again but will definitely recommend them to everyone needing body work. read more

These guys are amazing! They really took care of our car that had terrible hail damage but we got our car back looking like grand new. Such great service! read more

Great people who you can trust! They don't advertise it as much as they should, but they are two brothers who have been running the same shop for over 40 years. This is one of the few good spots you can 100% rely on to do a good job and give you a great price. read more

They provided excellent service. The liftgate was repaired promptly, and they maintained regular communication with me throughout the process, which I appreciated. What impressed me most was their transparency; they demonstrated the use of new parts without my prompting, earning my trust. Additionally, they went the extra mile by thoroughly cleaning my entire car upon completion. read more

These guys do great work and fast! Took my car in for a fender bender and had my car back in less than a week! Btw you get a fresh new car nicely detailed and ultra clean. Kraftsmen is not just a clever name.... Their work is legit! Will def recommend them for body work and mechanical issues with yiur car. Thank you gents! read more

My car was side swiped on the street with quite a bit of damage done to the driver's side front corner. After getting my insurance claim, I called a few spots and stopped by everywhere that were either hesitant or too busy. I dropped by Kraftsmen and they could not have made my life easier! This is a tight knit crew of good people that are just genuinely trying to repair your car and make it look as good as possible. They dealt with my insurance company for me, they were great about updating me on progress, when insurance didn't cooperate on a few items they took the hit instead of forcing me to pay more. For the most part, Kraftsmen was able to convince my insurance company that the claim was short on money and parts and were able to get every part necessary for the fix without jacking up the cost to me! I know these claims pop up sometimes but I bought my car two years ago brand new. It actually looked better when I picked it up from Kraftsmen than when I got it from the dealer. They detail cleaned and waxed the car for me! I will be going here for anything auto related!! read more

My car door was damaged and would not shut after a an incident in a parking lot. They were able to take my car in immediately and were very helpful. Even though they are not one of State Farm's "preferred shops," you can still go to them. State Farm cut me a reimbursement check for damages immediately after the estimate was approved and then paid them directly for an additional costs that weren't in the original estimate. It was really easy and everything was fixed and paid for 8 days later. The repair work looks great and they even add free detailing if the cost of repair is over a certain amount. My vehicle looks brand new. Highly recommend. read more

100%- take your car here. These guys are not only amazing they are great to deal with. My Mini came out looking better than when I bought it brand new. They are quick, honest, and reliable. read more

I don't usually take the time to write Yelp reviews, but these guys deserve it. John and Dan are the best kind of people. Car got side swiped in a parking garage. Took it to 3 other shops to get quotes, and I was about to head home because I was content with the 3rd quote but figured I'd stop by Kraftsmen since it's close to my home. Glad I did. Without knowing my previous 3 quotes, John and Dan at Kraftsmen gave me the most affordable quote with the fastest turnaround time. Car was ready when they said it would be, work was phenomenal, and they even had the car washed and vacuumed before returning it to us. What I appreciated most was how John and Dan treated my wife and I during every interaction. Even over the phone you can tell they are genuinely kind and honest people. 6 stars. Don't hesitate. Just go get a quote and meet them. read more

I got in a wreck a few months ago and didn't have collision insurance, not only did they do a great job but they worked with me on what I could afford. I hope not to have car trouble in the near future but if I do I'm bringing it here read more

Due to a decent amount of bad luck this past year we have brought our Toyota Solara in a few times and the guys have done an amazing job each time. They always get it done quick and are very up front about the price and the time itll take. I definitely recommend them to anyone, our car has come back looking amazing every single time! read more

The guys are great! Straightforward and honest. They have repaired minor body damage on my Volvo twice in the past 5 years. I won't go anywhere else. read more

Great customer service and quality work! I went to Kraftsmen based on a friend's recommendation. Kraftsmen took a great deal of care in diagnosing the problem at hand and recommending reasonable solutions while clearly explaining all the steps along the way. I am very satisfied with the work and impressed with their customer service provided. I'll be taking all my cars to Kraftsmen when they need service in the future. read more

I highly recommend Kraftsmen! They are easy to work with, help to contact your insurance and do amazing work! They did an incredible job on my car and it looks brand new ! read more

I've been going to Kraftsmen for years. They extended the life of my last two junkers and are still my go to guys for the basic services I need for my new car. A window was recently broken out of my car and they got me in right away and let me store the care there until the parts came in. This place feels like small town mechanics that actually care and just want you driving a safe and reliable car. John and Dan are running a great business and I'm a life long client. read more

Great customer services! I stopped by the shop a few days ago to get an estimate on removing some new scratches on my car. John greeted me friendly and helped to remove the scratches in no time - and at no charge! What a great person and great services! read more

Kraftsmen Auto Body - THIS IS THE FINISHED JOB MORE THAN HAPPY. - Auto Repair Near Me - Chicago, Illinois

I have been doing business with Kraftsmen Auto Body for a number of years. The guys are so nice and they do an outstanding job. This time was no different. They went above and beyond as they always do. When I received my car back today it looked like it did when I purchased it off of the showroom floor. They even repaired some dents and dings that was not associated with the accident, Steamed cleaned and detailed the entire car. Great guys, great prices, great work. read more

The first time I went to Kraftsmen Auto was +5 years ago. I needed to repair a side panel on my Honda CRV because I'd crushed it cutting my turn too close out of a garage. It looked brand new when they finished. I went back today to remove an obscene amount of dents that Chicago drives put in my car before turning my car into the dealership because my lease is up. After two jobs with Kraftsmen Auto, here's what I'd say. They can fix your car. Plus they're trustworthy, they care, and they're competitively priced. If you need a job done today, or you're shopping around, these are your guys. read more

I totaled my car and these guys were the most helpful, communicative, and caring people I have ever worked with in the auto industry. I will absolutely be returning for all of my car needs!! read more

My car was stolen and recovered with damage to a back window, steering column, interior, body, and parts of the engine. Kraftsmen did a great job getting my car fixed and back to me as soon as possible. They also helped me navigate the auto pound and kept me updated throughout the repair process. Highly recommend! read more

Dan and John did a GREAT job repairing our Volvo C-3O after a bad rear end collision. They kept us informed throughout the whole process. They dealt with the insurance claims themselves and made sure that all proper replacement parts are used. You can really see the "Kraftmanship" in the work they do! Very pleasant and professional to deal with! Would recommend them to everyone! read more

When I noticed the splash shield under my car had fallen off and was dragging, I gave Kraftsmen a call since they are right down the street from my home. They encouraged me to bring the car in the next day so they could take a look. When I brought the car in the next day, they reattached the splash shield and replaced one of my brake lights (which I forgot to mention on the phone) in about 20 minutes total. They didn't even charge me for the light bulb or any of their work, since it was such a small fix. If I ever need more extensive work done, I will definitely consider bringing my car to Kraftsmen. read more

Owners were incredibly accommodating and provided quick, top-notch service for my vehicle. Essentially looked brand-new after having been in a hit-and-run with a semi-truck. Will only be using Kraftsmen for any post-collision repairs going forward! read more

What a waste of time! I dropped my car off for a simple tire repair and after 100 phone calls back and forth to me, (seriously this guy called nonstop and talked down to me because he didn't think I knew what he was talking about so he tried to pull a fast on on me)...Kraftsmen quoted me for $1200 to fix my car! Then they told me that they needed the CASH UPFRONT and did not take credit cards... are they crazy!? How sketchy is that???!?!?! I brought it to a mechanic friend after that and he told me that half the problems that Kraftsmen told me I had did not really exist. and he fixed everything for $100 bucks... WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!! read more

This review is 9,000 miles over due, sorry Kraftsmen, better late than never, right? Better yet! We have not had any problems (knock on wood) with the CRV. Okay onto the review... Our company has been getting their fleet of service trucks repaired at Kraftsmen for the past 15 years so when Honda in old town gave me a crazy quote it was a no brainier to bring my business to Krafsmen. They hooked up back and front breaks and some electrical work due to rodent damage for a lot less , I mean a lot less, than Honda and helped a brother out in a pinch. Support your local mechanic. These brothers are honest and respectful. Spread the word! read more

These guys provided the best auto repair experience of my life. Sure they don't have the amenities of your standard dealership repair center, but that is completely forgotten because of how honest these guys are to work with. I feel like dealerships and many repair shops inflate car issues, especially for a novice like me, in order to get more money out of me on each visit. With Kraftsmen, however, they were honest about what turned out to be a small issue in the Subaru we brought in, and their charges for the work were completely reasonable. I'm very happy to bring in all our cars for any repair needs we have in the future. I recommend you give them a shot on your next auto repair need! read more

I had a small quarter panel slightly bent in on my Audi S5 fixed @Kraftsmen. Very pleased with the results, it came out great as it never happened. Great customer service - Dan and John were very friendly and took care of the insurance claim keeping me updated with the status. Thank you for your service! read more

I only wished I had taken some before photos to show the damage to the car and the great job they did in fixing it. I was extremely pleased with the service and work from John and Dan at Kraftsmen. I went to several other body shops in the area before choosing these guys. Being that this was the first time I had to take my car to a body shop for repairs, they gave me great advice in dealing with my insurance company, which definitely helped. They also went the extra mile in taking care of some other minor dings and scratches during the process. And to top it off, my car come back fully detailed, including the engine. I would recommend Kraftsmen to anyone in need of repairing damage to their vehicle. Great guys to work with! read more

Kraftsmen is my go to for all my car collision. I trust them 100% with my car, I've had many car collisions unfortunately. John and the team at Kraftsmen Auto Rebuilders are nothing short of amazing! I live nearby and they are my "go to" for any auto body repair, small or large. I never hesitate to refer a friend to them as I have full confidence that they will handle things professionally, with an honest estimate, and provide quality work in a timely manner. I've brought in various jobs on 3 cars over the years, and most recently noticed some body damage to my VW in and around the front grill. They were able to do the repair quickly and even do some paint touch ups so that it looks good as new! Super pleased. Highly recommend. read more
