While Kraftsman outsources the detailing, for logical reasons, they still fully stand behind the results! When I requested a touch up (since I'm quite particular), they redid the whole truck without any fuss and at no extra charge, demonstrating their true dedication to client satisfaction!! I'm thrilled with how it turned out! In addition, I was running late to pick her up and the owner, Dan, graciously stayed 15 minutes past closing time to wait for me. Very satisfied client here! My car door was damaged and would not shut after a an incident in a parking lot. They were able to take my car in immediately and were very helpful. Even though they are not one of State Farm's "preferred shops," you can still go to them. State Farm cut me a reimbursement check for damages immediately after the estimate was approved and then paid them directly for an additional costs that weren't in the original estimate. It was really easy and everything was fixed and paid for 8 days later. The repair work looks great and they even add free detailing if the cost of repair is over a certain amount. My vehicle looks brand new. Highly recommend. read more

My car was side swiped on the street with quite a bit of damage done to the driver's side front corner. After getting my insurance claim, I called a few spots and stopped by everywhere that were either hesitant or too busy. I dropped by Kraftsmen and they could not have made my life easier! This is a tight knit crew of good people that are just genuinely trying to repair your car and make it look as good as possible. They dealt with my insurance company for me, they were great about updating me on progress, when insurance didn't cooperate on a few items they took the hit instead of forcing me to pay more. For the most part, Kraftsmen was able to convince my insurance company that the claim was short on money and parts and were able to get every part necessary for the fix without jacking up the cost to me! I know these claims pop up sometimes but I bought my car two years ago brand new. It actually looked better when I picked it up from Kraftsmen than when I got it from the dealer. They detail cleaned and waxed the car for me! I will be going here for anything auto related!! read more

When I noticed the splash shield under my car had fallen off and was dragging, I gave Kraftsmen a call since they are right down the street from my home. They encouraged me to bring the car in the next day so they could take a look. When I brought the car in the next day, they reattached the splash shield and replaced one of my brake lights (which I forgot to mention on the phone) in about 20 minutes total. They didn't even charge me for the light bulb or any of their work, since it was such a small fix. If I ever need more extensive work done, I will definitely consider bringing my car to Kraftsmen. read more

Sure they don't have the amenities of your standard dealership repair center, but that is completely forgotten because of how honest these guys are to work with. I feel like dealerships and many repair shops inflate car issues, especially for a novice like me, in order to get more money out of me on each visit. With Kraftsmen, however, they were honest about what turned out to be a small issue in the Subaru we brought in, and their charges for the work were completely reasonable. What a waste of time! I dropped my car off for a simple tire repair and after 100 phone calls back and forth to me, (seriously this guy called nonstop and talked down to me because he didn't think I knew what he was talking about so he tried to pull a fast on on me)...Kraftsmen quoted me for $1200 to fix my car! Then they told me that they needed the CASH UPFRONT and did not take credit cards... are they crazy!? How sketchy is that???!?!?! I brought it to a mechanic friend after that and he told me that half the problems that Kraftsmen told me I had did not really exist. and he fixed everything for $100 bucks... Our company has been getting their fleet of service trucks repaired at Kraftsmen for the past 15 years so when Honda in old town gave me a crazy quote it was a no brainier to bring my business to Krafsmen. They hooked up back and front breaks and some electrical work due to rodent damage for a lot less , I mean a lot less, than Honda and helped a brother out in a pinch. Support your local mechanic. I only wished I had taken some before photos to show the damage to the car and the great job they did in fixing it. I was extremely pleased with the service and work from John and Dan at Kraftsmen. I went to several other body shops in the area before choosing these guys. Being that this was the first time I had to take my car to a body shop for repairs, they gave me great advice in dealing with my insurance company, which definitely helped. They also went the extra mile in taking care of some other minor dings and scratches during the process. And to top it off, my car come back fully detailed, including the engine.
