They are currently not selling liquor which is ok with me. There are places for cocktails a couple of doors down. ** This restaurant is permanently closed as of July 8th. Once they lost their liquor license, it was a slow death for them, I'm surprised they lasted this long. Came on a Sunday afternoon. Started with the cauliflower as appetizer which was good. We all tried the burgers: smash burger, fried chicken burger and grilled chicken burger for the kids, the plain ol burger which comes with cheese(not an added charge)and black bean burger. All were good, huge portions and lots of fries or tater tots(can choose for a dollar more). One server and I'm assuming one cook, food took a while to come out. It lost its bar license so no alcohol. I went to Krafted's website and clicked the "order online" button, which took me to the Toast app. I created my order and pressed the button to pay. Toast shot back an error message. "Fair enough," I thought. "It is their first weekend." Weirdly, my credit card app shows I was charged -- twice. I didn't know if my order had gone through, so I tried calling. No one picked up. I called five minutes later. No one picked up. So I drove to the restaurant to see if they had received the order. When I arrived, a young woman told me she didn't know if the order went through. She went for help. A young man told me I was the second person this had happened to. He took my information and had me reiterate my order. "It should be about 20 minutes," he said. "Fair enough," I thought. "It is their first weekend." I stood and waited 25 minutes. A server asked if I needed help. I told him there was a carryout mix-up, but my order should be ready soon. 20 more minutes passed. I told the server to cancel my order. I was going home. On a restaurant's first weekend, it wouldn't surprise me if they had problems with their online ordering system. It would surprise me if they never picked up the phone. And it would *REALLY* surprise me if a customer showed up, reiterated an order, and then waited 45 minutes and the food never appeared. I wasn't offered french fries or a beer or anything for my extensive wait. I did get to hear someone behind the bar drop an excessive amount of glassware on the floor. It's baffling to me that on a restaurant's first Saturday night, they didn't have anyone there who seemed to know how to run a restaurant. It was just a parade of puzzled looks and shoulder shrugs. Other patrons seemed to receive their food, so I guess you just need to order in person. I hope the food's good. I may give them another shot in 3 months when they might have the kinks worked out. Really good food and excellent drinks! Was seated very quickly by a friendly waiter. He was quick and efficient. Ordered and Old Fashioned that had a unique smoked flavor and was the perfect blend of whiskey with sweet and tried the Gummylicious which was meh, but the original beer hubby wanted was already gone. Others might like Gummylicious, it just wasn't our thing. The food was amazing. The American burger was cooked just right with the right amount of toppings, the tots were crunchy on the outside and cooked well on the inside. The Lucky Wishbone was a massive piece of chicken that was moist with great flavor. It was a really scrumptious piece of chicken and the fries were good, too. After seeing Krafted a number of times, taking the train that passes by there, 4 of us decided to meet there for dinner to celebrate a birthday. When we entered, we noticed that there were not many people, in comparison to how crowded other nearby restaurants were. We were told to sit wherever we wanted and that they were not serving alcohol. No explanation, even after I mentioned that "Bar" is part of the name, just that they were not serving alcohol. As we were looking forward to a burger and a beer, we did go elsewhere. I've been to restaurants where one persons meal was not good but all three people have a bad meal. Ordered the steak salad and was given a small steak that was literally half gristle and the avocados were brown even though we picked up the food within 15mins. My husband got a steak sandwich that was also half gristle and so over cooked he couldn't chew through it, my son ordered a Rueben sandwich and the meat was fried to a crisp. Krafted has excellent burgers, nice variety and well put together flavor variations. The sauces that come with each meal and appetizer are homemade and tasty. The onion rings and fries are flavorful and crisp (even for takeout after driving home after pick up). I really like the spicy ketchup that you can get on the side as well. I was so excited to try craft, and I was so surprised to be disappointed from hearing only good things, starting with the good both the servers/hosts were great nice service very personable and the ambiance was very casual to take family friends or a date. and the wings are a must try I'd recommend the Chicago heat flavor, last thing we're the fries those were good but hard to mess those up. The service although they were nice the service was super slow my drink and my significant others drink took upwards of 20 minute and were received as the food was arriving. The app of the smashed guac was sad we got one small 4oz cup of guac with gigantic square pieces of pita it broke apart in your hand and the guac was covered in cilantro and was missing salt. The chicken sandwich the sonoma state fair was good but the toppings seemed old the guac was really soft and turning a little brown and the red peppers and pickled onion just didn't have enough flavor to impact on the sandwich at all. Went here with my family in the evening during the week. There was live music and the service was great. We ordered the pimento cheese dip and guac for starters and it was good. The chips they serve with the dip are delish and not just bagged tortilla chips. We had a chicken sandwich and south side burger and enjoyed both of them. Full disclosure this review was started 5/28/23, so hopefully things have changed for the better but due to the experiences after trying Krafted a couple times, we haven't been back yet to find out despite living close by. Food is great. The service is terrible. They lack staff (or at least appear to), the staff that are there are very slow. Ordered a couple times here for take out and always stood waiting for an extended period of time before someone came to help us even though the restaurant was basically empty. There is just nobody who works there around. Their online ordering always says "closed now" even during the times listed of being open from 11am-8pm (the Bolingbrook location does not appear to have this problem), however if you try to call to place an order it is difficult to get anyone on the phone (one of the reasons we haven't been able to try them again even though we were willing to give them another shot). Most recent take out we ordered a couple apps and a pizza and they forgot the pizza. It's sad given they have really good food but just the customer experience is so bad. read more

The Brunch Bloody Mary was not that good. First, if you are going to call something a brunch Bloody Mary... put something in it. Just came with a lemon and lime. Would like to see some celery, olives, pickle.. meat. Something. It also didn't taste that great. Tasted like cocktail sauce. Probably because there was horseradish but still was not good. -Ambiance. This is the main reason I took stars off in hopes that hopefully they will warm it up a bit. The inside layout is pretty much what it was with previous tenant. (Which I didn't like it then, and don't now). There's nothing on the walls and the seating and tables are not really comfortable. Just very sterile and plain inside IMO. I will Definitely go back, food honestly was great. Just like to see it a little more comfortable inside. -Need to up the service - warm up the ambiance -do something with tables, chairs/layout it's so spread out which makes you feel like you are not really in a restaurant with others.
