Favorite for lunch or dinner or beers! Easy to park, old school inside, great service and delicious food! Winner, winner! Burger is my "go to" but also love the pizza. Great spot to have a meal and conversation w friends.

Came here for a bite to eat after an event at the humane society. We were immediately greeted after walking in and ordered a few drinks. We ordered a sausage pizza. The crust was a bit thicker than I'd like but it tasted great. Been to this place on many occasions and it is usually incredibly loud but this time it was not. Much easier to enjoy yourself when you aren't screaming at the people right by you. Overall good experience this time around!

    Check out the new tent!!

Servers were cold and aloof. Place is very loud--in the middle of a weekday. Food is barely fair.

I ordered the mushroom and truffle pizza and was pleasantly surprised by its balanced flavors. Truffle can sometimes overpower a dish, but everything was thoughtfully executed. The concept feels fresh while complementing Cooper's Hawk's reputation for wine and hospitality. I also appreciated the restaurant's design details, especially the restroom wallpaper featuring classic Italian hand gestures--a fun, memorable touch. While I enjoyed the food and atmosphere, I felt the patio service could have been warmer and more attentive. I followed up with management afterward and appreciated the opportunity to share my feedback. Overall, Piccolo Buco offers a charming atmosphere, quality food, and a concept that stands out in Oak Brook. I'll definitely return during future shopping trips to explore more of the menu.

Everyone in our group ordered pasta, which may have been our mistake given that the restaurant is especially known for pizza! The food was good, but not amazing and for the price point I was hoping to be a little more impressed. One highlight was the calamari had a topping that made it stand out from traditional restaurant calamari appetizers! They also have Allagash White - which was a special treat! I will give it another try in the future, but next time I would order one of the pizzas that so many people seem to love! Sometimes you need to try a restaurant's specialty before making a final judgment!

My husband and I went for an early dinner, didn't have reservations, it was just us two. We were told an approx 10 min wait, which was fine. As we waited, we noticed a few empty booths for two in the bar - we asked to be seated, and they said of course. Very pleasant front end staff. Problem began with our phantom server, waited a while til someone approached us. No water, no menus, no server. Finally after almost 20 min, the server appeared, he seemed very frazzled. Spoke quickly. We asked for a menu, water, silverware & napkins. At almost 30 minutes, we finally ordered our entrees. I ordered Fettuccine Alfredo, and my husband ordered Arrabbiata Sauce w/spaghetti which came with a small side salad or soup. I chose soup, and my husband had a side salad. And we asked for some bread for the table. We waited another 20 minutes for our salad and soup, and I was given a tsp for the soup, all things considered, it was good. We saw the server twice while we were there, appeared very pre-occupied. The kitchen staff served our pasta meals. My husband said his was good, my Fettuccine Alfredo was also good, but very Al dente. Meantime, still waiting for bread .... All in all, it was a good meal, sometimes servers can make or break it! This individual really needs more training, or a different position. He made our experience very frustrating! But we will definitely give Labriola another chance!

The space is beautiful, though the tables are... let's just say neighborly. Great if you enjoy bonding with strangers, less great if you like a little elbow room. The menu is interesting and inviting. We started with the parmesan artichokes. Crunchy and satisfying, with nice pieces throughout, but a bit shy on flavor. It felt like it almost got to the party but stopped just outside the door. For mains, everyone genuinely enjoyed their dishes. I had the gnocchi della casa with porcini ragù. The gnocchi were soft, light, and pillowy, though just a touch dense and missing that subtle potato flavor that makes you close your eyes for a second. Not quite at the level of my mom's or grandma's (but let's be honest, nothing ever is). The mushroom sauce was tasty, though it leaned slightly vinegary. The pistachio-crusted whitefish was a standout. Perfectly crisp on the outside, flaky and tender on the inside. Definitely a win. The risotto of the day was creamy and comforting, but it felt like it was missing that little spark, that "something" that takes it from good to memorable. Drinks were a highlight. The Sicilian Negroni and Fields of Tuscany were both well-crafted and delicious. No notes there. For the price, it's a solid spot and worth experiencing at least once. Come for the energy, stay for the drinks, and maybe bring your best "I don't mind sitting close" attitude.

The sausage was definitely the fan favorite for the kids. I have to say the pizza crust was really enjoyable, crispy throughout and not too paper thin and robust enough to hold all toppings. As far as service, it's best to call in ahead to put in your order, as I've heard they only pump out 100 or so pizzas per day and seem to be in high demand. For example, we called in on a weekday at 4:45pm and pick up wouldn't be until 6:35pm. So roughly, two hour wait which was on par with what I've read about. The shop itself is very small. Only two tables and the rest of the space is dedicated to the kitchen and pizza oven. I'd recommend taking to go as inside runs hot from the big ol' oven. All in all, really great quality tavern style. Worth a try if you can time the order with when you want to eat. =P 'Til next time, cheers!

We are so glad we did! Because the cheese was perfectly gooey without being overwhelming paired with a delicious tomato sauce atop a complimentary crust with just the right amount of give to it. This pizza was not nearly as good as the thin crust because if I'm going to eat a non-thin crust pizza, I want a more doughy crust and this just did not deliver. There was also too much cheese and it wasn't charred the same way the thin crust was. The inside is quaint with hats from all over everywhere. While I have sampled and tried many iterations of the deep dish pizza over the years, Giordano's is the classic...maybe not the best, but definitely the most classic of deep dish pizzas in my opinion. For this visit, I bellied up to the bar, grabbed a signature cocktail and went all in for my dinner. I started with an order of the cheese bread and followed up with a personal pepperoni deep dish. The cocktail, Windy City Punch, was okay. Nothing special, but it hit the spot and was a solid drink to wash down the pizza with. Food wise, the deep dish was great. Personal pizza was a tad smaller than expected, but it was just enough. The pizza itself was tasty, just what I was after! While the pie was good, the cheese bread was disappointing. First, they either gave me the wrong bread, forgot the cheese or need to rebrand the dish. It was lacking cheese and was pretty lackluster for a starter. Service was okay at the bar. The bartender was friendly and helpful, but was also doubling as a waitress on the floor, so she was not around most of my meal. Overall, decent visit to Giordano's.
