Have been going to this vet for 2-3 years now, but never again. Recently made an appointment for my 6 month old puppy to be spayed. We gave her a bath the night before, then combed her out in the morning, so she would be nice and clean. When we picked her up the following day, the bill was $18 higher than expected; the office staff said she was "covered in fleas" and had to be treated, in the form of an oral pill. No one asked us for permission to treat our dog in this fashion. No one discussed treatment options or costs. My dog was clean when I dropped her off; I have no way of knowing whether they actually administered this treatment or not - I'm just supposed to trust them, I guess. Too bad I don't. Any attempt to reason this out with them was met with the attitude of "don't bother us; we did it; you owe it; now pay us and get out." That's the last dime of mine they will ever see. read more
