Buying and selling cars can be stressful, to say the least. We had an older Prius that it was time to move on from. Did the usual postings on various websites. One of the calls we received was from Khalil at KR Auto Group. While selling to another private party usually yields a better selling price it is also a lot of DMV paperwork and other details like dealing with personalized plates, proper release of liability forms, just to name a few. Khalil made us a great offer, handled all the DMV paperwork, etc. Did we leave a few dollars on the table? Maybe, but we were very happy with all aspects of the transaction. In addition Khalil is a really nice guy. When I need to let go of another vehicle I'm going to KR Auto Group, they are 'banging on all cylinders' Yes! pun intended. read more

Wow! Refreshing experience. Got a call from the owner interested in purchasing my vehicle. I assumed it was private party. Turned out it was a dealer. Here's the best part: I received ALL the benefits of selling to a dealer (no smog required, no need to update registration or transfer title, minor issues that needed addressing were ignored, etc..) AND he paid me what I was hoping to get from a private party. I have never met the owner prior to this day and am leaving this review solely based on what an absolutely stress free experience I had in what is normally a nightmare. Top notch, honest guy! read more

my son and I purchased a car there a couple ago. It was a Volvo. He drove it into Orange County and brought it back the next day and it started missing it in the shop and found out it had a cracked head that had been doctored up. Went back to the dealer here and you said sorry you're out of luck. It's been more than 24 hours as you bought the car. I'm just saying, I would never buy a recommend this dealer again bad business tactics.. We ended up car because it wouldn't run read more

I do NOT recommend this used car dealer. The purchase I made appears to have been expertly doctored to hide flaws and problems. It may be that this particular dealer buys vehicles with known problems, and then doctors the imperfections in a way that makes the cars marketable, but by the time you find out what the dealer did, it's too late- Buyer beware- read more

Khalil and Rhona(sp?) were amazing. In my 62 years I've never had an easier car-purchasing experience. I've never felt trust in a sale-salesperson until this time around. Not only did they practice respectful social-distancing and mask-wearing, but the showroom and office were also clean and tidy AND there was a large bottle of sanitizer as soon as I walked in. Whether or not you believe in the CDC measures, I appreciated the fact that Khalil allowed me to feel safe. I went in to look at a particular car but did notice the many really nice looking cars he had (he's a very particular guy when it comes to purchasing cars for his showroom). There were easily a dozen cars I would have bought and while we were there a truck-load of more beautiful cars arrived. After my test drive and a lot of questions answered, we easily settled on a fair price and the paper-work process began. Khalil made that as painless as could be and two days later I came back for my new (pre-owned) Audi. read more

Made an offer for one of their cars posted online. Got a call back from somebody at the dealership stating the price is non-negotiable with a super rude tone. Really hope this isn't how you do business regularly. 1. Your car is WAY overpriced compared to market. (Hint: check listings at bringatrailer and carsandbids) 2. If it's non-negotiable, why do you have a "make an offer" option on your website?? It's laughable. It's okay if you're not able to sell it at your asking price. Just keep it for your collection, like you said lol. Good luck to anybody who chooses to do business with this establishment. read more

I have purchased many cars new and used over the past 40 years. Khalil had a car I was looking for at a fair price. The car buying process was simple and not full of any posturing or other "used car salesman" shenanigans. Just a straight forward transaction. Loved the car! Had it serviced by my mechanic to make sure it was as it appeared and no surprises and the car checked out. 2 weeks later the car developed a problem. I fully understood I bought a used car AS IS. As mentioned before I have purchased many cars and sometimes things happen that nobody expects or intends. I called Khalil and let him know about the problem and all I can say is WOW - Khalil showed true compassion and empathy and once the shock was over for us both he helped find a plan forward to help me recover from an unexpected problem. Khalil did not have a responsibility or expectation from me to help out - he went above and beyond what I had hoped for. Long and short - when things go right it is pretty easy to have a good experience. When things go wrong ( as they did with this car ) it is a true measure of character to make a positive outcome everybody can live with. I would recommend Khalil for a future car purchase. Thank you Khalil read more

Talk about patients. I looked at a car 5 time before I bought it. They are car people, and bring in only the best cars to sell at very reasonable prices. The closing process was very low key, and I never felt stressed during the entire process. I highly recommend KR Auto! And now I drive a pretty bad-ass Benz. read more

I drove from LA to Palm Desert to look at a Porsche 911 4S convertible. I met Khalil, the owner who did a great job of showing me the car, the features and why this particular vehicle stood out from other 911's. Needless to say I fell in love with the car and made arrangements to come back the following day to get the car inspected. After the inspection, I purchased my dream car. It took about 45 minutes to explain all of the cars features. He made sure when I drove off that I knew how to operate the instrument panel, etc. He deserves 10 stars. Thanks again! read more

Working with Khalil to purchase a 2004 Porsche Boxster was quick and painless. Khalil is friendly and no-pressure and even went over and above a week or so after the sale by helping take care of a small maintenance issue I didn't notice at purchase. He absolutely did not have to do this as the car was sold as-is. If you're looking for an interesting inventory of used cars, I recommend stopping by KR. Even if you don't find what you're looking for, you'll surely end up having a nice chat with Khalil - that alone is worth a visit. read more

I'm not even going to begin to think about how many cars I've bought and sold throughout the years but this was easily the most pleasant buying experience I've ever had. Khalil was a pleasure to deal with and the car was exactly as presented online. His price was more than fair and he went out of his way to address the small concerns we had. No pressure, no bull**** and no surprises. I even traded a car in and was pleased with the price he gave me for it. I'd highly recommend KR Auto Group. read more

We purchased our second car from Khalil. I cannot empathize enough what an exceptional person/dealership Khalil is and has. Honest, out of his way to help out, pricing was more than fair, no surprises, the way it should be. These are the reasons you go back to someone who runs his business like it's his baby! It is after all, although in most small businesses many are run on get the deal now and no further contact period. We consider ourselves very fortunate to find a place like K/R. I'm a bit late in posting, but wanted to share my great experience with KR Auto Group. I drove out from LA to buy a Cayenne for my daughter. Kahlil and his wife were a pleasure. To my dearest Khalil, You will forever hold a place in my heart as the person who sold me my first car!!! I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for being a warm hearted, kind, and patient person. I was very nervous that my family and I were driving 3 hours to get to you because we had driven days prior all over Orange County only to be disappointed by more ways than one. You calmed my nerves and knew a ton about cars. You did not hide any detail one bit, you let us test drive, check the oil, showed us where the tire pump was at, pretty much everything! One of the highlights for me was that you had THREE smart cars to test drive and you did not hesitate to tell us the truth about each one. In fact, when you refused to let us test drive one that you didn't feel was up to your standard, you gained my trust and respect. Your honesty is by far the best and you truly are appreciated. To those reading this...you will NOT be disappointed going to Khalil! He goes the extra mile and it truly shows through his business. He sold me my first car; 2009 Smart Pure. I've named her Lola and she's a beauty! NO mechanical problems. A/C is super cold, body is perfectly clean, interior is spotless. I drove off in confidence knowing I was in good hands. My new car keeps me cozy and comfortable on the way home, and the best part, I have luck with parking, every damn time! :) From the bottom of my heart, Mr. Khalil I appreciate you! read more

What a great experience. Kalil is the man. Great service, no headache, his posts on Car Gurus and Craigslist were very true to the car showing an honest take on the cars condition. Thanks you so much! read more

Where do I begin ... Khalil, amazing man. Drove from San Fernando valley to go and purchase a vehicle. We went out in a limb here going that far to palm desert. But based on the great reviews we were definitely not disappointed!! Ended up getting a smart car for our baby sister and I swear to you it was like we have known Khalil for years! Great man , great business. He even went out of his way to wait for us past his business hours on a Saturday , Gave is a great deal and knew everything about this car. We will see you soon for our next purchase. If you need a reliable car and great service , take a a ride to the desert. Khalil will make it all worth while. Much love!! 5 star. This is the best group to buy a car from. Thanks for the awesome service. Love the bmw and your help.

I had the most enjoyable experience buying a car from Khalil!! I had tried just about every name brand dealership in the area. Each and everyone gave me the feeling like I was just another number and my time and money wasn't valuable at all. Khalil made me feel like a VIP customer from the start. He takes great pride in his business and it shows through his ethics. He made sure to show me all records he had for the car I bought, plus took care of detailing the car before it was delivered. I will definitely be referring K/R Auto Group to all my family and friends. read more

Amazing experience falls entirely too short of a proper explanation for our experience with K/R Auto Group! Khalil is patient, he is honest and is more than fair with pricing! At no point from beginning to end to we feel pressure or dishonesty! We did not need to ask for a CarFax because that is the first thing he makes sure you have. We would recommend him to anyone looking for a top notch quality vehicle and experience. read more

Our experience purchasing our 650i BMW was phenomenal from beginning to end. The vehicle was delivered to us in nearly perfect condition. It is like purchasing a brand new car. Thank you Khalil for taking all the time to go over all the features in our new car and believe me there are many. He showed us the car fax of the condition of the car. We recommend K/R auto to anybody looking for an extraordinary car along with amazing customer service and a better than fair price. Ok a great price. I just wanted to say thank for making us happy with our new car purchase. read more

I had a great experience during the application process. Very professional and smooth, Kalil is quick and gets things done. Kalil always answered my phone calls or returned missed calls quickly. He was very honest and I felt like he was really looking out for my best interests. He went above and beyond to get me qualified for the vehicle I was looking into and got me a really good deal. I like the guy and i recommend him because he is honest, attentive, and provides a lot of info. Thanks Kalil. read more

I was looking for a Nissan Leaf as part of a daily-driver scheme I have, and was on the CarGurus.com website and BOOM!!!! A used car dealer popped up near my business! I couldn't believe it, as I pass by this dealer everyday going to my shop, so it was awesome to get to simply drive by and stop and meet the owner and his wife. I told them what I'm interested in and that I had seen their Nissan Leaf on the website. After talking a little bit about the pro's and con's of 'all electric', we drove the vehicle around and it was nice. Not 100 out of 100, but 9 out of 10, so that was nice. No pushy-type of stuff, asked me to call them if interested further, and that was that. A few days later, I asked again to take it for a test drive, and they threw me the keys. After that drive, I went in to discuss price and the owner told me that based on the internet pricing he'd seen, he wanted to be competitive and lowered the price more. He told me that the car only charges to 63 miles, which was okay from home to work, so I bought the 2012 Nissan Leaf. (Update: it actually only charges to 52 miles, so they never saw 63 miles... which is discouraging.... but, the Nissan Dealer said the car checked out and was very nicely taken care of, so while I would not have purchased this car with a 52-mile range, I am still happy and plan to upgrade the batteries some day.) My experiences in purchasing a pre-owned vehicle from K/r Auto Group were great. The owner and his wife were extremely professional and what really convinced me that this shop conducts business better than the rest was how committed they were in ensuring the vehicle you purchase is road-worthy and safe. What a great experience buying a car from Khalil. He has a passion for cars and so do I. True professional and the experience was top notch.

I highly recommend buying your next car from K/r Auto Group. Their service is best-in-class, trust-worthy, and pleasant all around plus their inventory is carefully selected to meet the high-quality standards that Khalil is proud to offer his customers. You can notice this right away, after entering his warehouse, since all his inventory is well-maintained and immaculate inside and out. Aside from this, Khalil's personality and demeanor definitely shows that he is more interested in selling a high-quality car to make his customers happy and not just in it to make a sale. He is professional, trust-worthy, and very reasonable with his negotiations, which is a testament to his knowledge and experience in the car sales business. I recently bought my car with him (without any hassles, I might add) and took it into the dealership for an inspection...only to find great compliments from the dealership on the condition of my car. They were very impressed with the quality and cleanliness of the car and the car fax he provided for the vehicle was spot on, which goes to show that Khalil knows his business very well and can be a trusted-source for investing your money on a car. I am now a loyal customer of K/r Auto Group and will return to him for any future car needs, whether for myself or anybody in my circle needing a dependable car. Aside from all of this, Khalil and his wife were super nice and made car-shopping such a pleasant experience...a class above the rest. read more

I was looking for an XK and saw one that meet my wants online at K/R Auto. I checked the reviews on them and really thought the reviews were BS, they were just too good. I called, figuring it would be another PITA dealing with a salesman over a thousand miles away. Khalil and I closed the deal in minutes, he handled the shipping, and working with my bank which dropped the ball a couple of times. Always kept me informed of how things were progressing all the way through to delivery. Sent me pics of the car being loaded, and kept checking in with me until the car was in my garage. Khalil is the best, simply AWESOME! read more
