As an independent freelancer with a growing clientele, when it came time to create my own website…read morewith Squarespace, I thought it would be an easy, straightforward process. Long story short, I couldn't have been more wrong. Although creating an account was a relatively simple process, setting up a website that was both functional and aesthetic was far less straightforward than it was advertised to be. For people who have full time jobs, working through the nuances of website design--how to manipulate images, change spacing between elements, understand how your site will function on a desktop vs. mobile, etc.--is exhausting. Squarespace doesn't offer any direct customer support, and when you do email them for help, they simply send you links to read and "how to" videos to watch. All in all the time and energy it takes to learn how to work with simple design elements can be extremely discouraging. Yes, you can set up a site, but there will be lots of things wrong with it and it will never really look like a professionally built site, which of course it isn't. Working with Mark, however, was simple, easy, and ultimately saved me an incredible amount of energy. After trying to work on my own with Squarespace for almost 2 years, I had a website, but it was nothing like what Mark was able to produce in a short period of time. What's more, working with Mark provided me with a website that was functional, professional, and beautifully reflects my personal brand. Not only does he possess an intricate off-hand knowledge of how the platform works, but he understands custom coding and will go to any lengths necessary to make sure you get what you want when it comes to the design of your site. His precision and attention to detail are major assets in his ability to create professional websites, as are his unique design ideas. Given his skill level and the personal attention he offers I would definitely say that working with Mark is guaranteed to vastly improve the look and feel of your site while saving you an enormous amount of time.

When I contacted Mark I had no idea what I wanted and I was slightly all over the place. As a result, he suggested we meet in person so he could get a feel for my personality in order to create an aesthetic that truly captures who I am and what I was trying to convey. From the moment we met I felt an immediate confidence in him and inspiration within myself. He asked great questions and was able to help me to consolidate my thoughts and what I wanted to convey to the public about my private psychology practice. Shortly after our first meeting, Mark sent me a draft that exceeded expectations. He included everything we discussed and created a visual which complemented my personality and my practice perfectly!! He took my corrections and feedback and implemented them immediately and improved upon my suggestions in a way only he could. Working with Mark was an extremely pleasant experience. He was patient, creative, informative, and he kept me focused. Our collaboration resulted in a website that is not only beautiful but sets the tone for potential clients on what working with me would feel like. I can't say enough good things about Mark! Use him and you too will be wowed I promise!!

From the get go, Steven was extremely responsive to my email inquiry. He immediately scheduled a zoom call with me and we started working together. Steven showed me how to update my own title tags and he was very patient with me as I'm not very tech savvy.  After doing a backlink audit on my website, he discovered that my site had been linked to over 800 spam websites and disavowed all the bad links to help improve my score on Google. We made some other minor edits to my website (back and front end) to improve the conversion rates for a free call that I offer. After only ONE month of working with Steven, my business made a little over 8,000! The numbers don't lie. I wish I could give Steven 100 stars. His knowledge, professionalism, honesty, kindness, and patience will never be forgotten. I continue to refer all my friends and business colleagues to him because he is simply the BEST. Hire him today ~ you won't regret it.

Unfortunately, a few of the keys stopped working, one of which was part of my password. I took my MacBook to Zach, without an appointment, and he took care of it within a few days. I really appreciated the fact that he opened it up to assess the damage before actually ordering the new keyboard and replacing it. He kept in touch via text messaging throughout the entire process. He even worked until 1130P on a Friday to get the job done since he told me it would be done on a Friday (I took the computer in on Monday). This is the guy to go to for your Mac needs.

Yeah...not have a working smartphone while working an event? That's like describing Dante's Circles of Hell...the special one for internet addicts. Heh. Anyhoo, as we were pulling up to the Bell House, I spied a sign for "Mac Support". I quickly drop my stuff off and book it over there in hopes they had a power cord I could buy. The short story: they had it, even though it took forget to get it (and it wasn't even an "official" Apple charger...not that it matters...but the charger was more expensive than the official ones). The TL:DR version: So I see the banner hanging from the side of the building but no store-front...nor any sign that says "*THIS* is the building/door that you want". After trying 2 or 3 doors, I finally figured out the right door...only to be confronted by stairs, an elevator, and a long hallway. Seriously?! I just want a stupid power charger! At this point, a creeper that was following me around on the streets just walked through the doors that I came in. I tried the elevator, but evidently it shuts down at 2pm. What what? *sigh* I know, only *I* could get into this drama over buying a charger. Where was I? Oh yes, so the creeper just walked through the door into this totally empty building, the elevator wasn't working...so I did the only logical thing a girl in 4" heels in a strange city, in an empty building could do...I bolted up the stairs. Fortunately, when I got to the 2nd floor, there was a sign to go down another hallway to get to the store. I ran into that store so fast, it was ridiculous. Once there, it was a lovely and airy space that resembled more like a studio than a tech support shop. There were two or three people working there, and one or two other customers. I stood around for 10 minutes, trying to catch a sales/tech person's eye, before someone pointed me to a sign up sheet. Really? *double sigh* The moment I finished sign-in in, someone came up to help me. Come on...really? Anyways, the tech guy was super helpful and was able to get me a phone charger immediately. Even though it wasn't an official Apple product, yet it cost *more* than an official Apple charger. *triple sigh*. But the important thing was I got my charger, right? And the tech guy was very nice and helpful.
