After two hours of trying to get rides, we found this place. Rick, who owns and operates the motel alone, came and picked up us and all our luggage himself. After calling Rick and asking if he had a room for us, and could give us a ride, it was no more than 20 minutes from being stranded at a closed gas station in the freezing cold, to being checked into a room. He even gave us some homemade beef jerky in case we didn't have any food. (best beef jerky I've ever had) Great prices, great service, excellent place to stay. If I am ever near that area again, Crossroads Motel & Cabin is where I'll be staying.

Rooms are very clean and beds are comfortable. It's not loud and we did t hear any hall noise. You can bring a cooler to the pool. Also love that rooms have a fridge freezer combo and microwave . You pull up and park right in front of a beautiful porch that spans the length of one side of the house where you can meet other guests who might be out enjoying the weather or having a drink. The owners are very welcoming and the price was super reasonable. The room is very cozy, but complete with all cable channels, great wifi, mini-fridges, and coffee pots. There is also a breakfast available every morning (it's a help yourself to whatever you like environment!) where you can get your usual cereal yogurt etc or hot food like waffles. They also facilitate yoga classes in the living room on certain mornings! The only thing I would advise is to bring your own shampoo because it is the only amenity that they didn't provide. All in all, a great place that I would definitely recommend. A hidden gem!

The Good, The Bad…read more.. This little resort is tucked away on Lake Delton , kind of hidden by the wilderness resort. The location is perfect. A three minute drive to pretty much anything you need. The amenities that were listed, we're not all available when I visited, but for the most part what you see is what you get. Definitely not a waterpark kind of vibe, but a nice pool if your kids want to play, and some lakefront options. The service was fabulous. The gentleman that met me at the front desk could not have been any better and check-in went smoothly. Housekeeping was also very friendly. The rooms were rough. I wasn't aware that it was an animal hotel, and as someone with allergies, I should've looked at the fine print. I'll definitely be taking Benadryl for several days to recover. The room itself was old, I definitely left my shoes on because the carpet was pretty nasty. But the room itself was clean. I had a floor level room, and the only window opened up right to the parking lot so privacy definitely was out of the question.! There were two beds in my room, when I sat down on one, I heard a very big spring noise, almost like a loud, "Boing!" Obviously I avoided that bad the rest of the day. My bed was comfortable the linens were clean. Very loud, but I kind of expected that because there's lots of children here. You definitely get what you pay for it was a budget friendly hotel.

We encountered…read moresignificant disturbances due to poor soundproofing, which made it unbearable, especially when traveling with a small child. For two of the three nights, the noise was excessive. During our last night, which much needed sleep, I contacted the front desk twice. The first time, I was told security would address the loud group on the patio. On my second call, I was advised to approach the guests myself to ask them to lower their volume, which I found quite shocking. When I requested the staff's name, she began to spell it out instead of simply stating it, and ultimately hung up on me. Given that we paid over $500/per night was too much for not getting much sleep. As well as the lack of support and rude service were very disappointing. I hope future guests take note of this issue and similar other reviews about the excessive noise level likely due to lack of soundproofing.

Not to much of an issue for us, but others should be prepared. Our room was clean for the most part (moldy shower curtain).
