I came to LensCrafters in a desperate need to get immediate glasses because I had damage…read more Initially, everyone was funny and kind and I was introduced to an array of frames. I had called prior to me coming in to explain how serious my situation was and to make sure that they can make immediate glasses. As I was speaking to the representative's I made it really clear of the type of things that I like in the business that I'm in. I picked a very expensive frame, Expecting my glasses to look decent when I pick them up. Instead what I received was something that looked like it was from my childhood way back in the 70s before advanced technology existed. I was told by one representative that because of my prescription that's what happened and that if I wanted thinner lenses I would've had to wait because they were in stock. I was on And an emergency trip to Pennsylvania on my way to Maryland and only an hour or so and there was no way in the world I could drive with my prescription. I paid over $300 for some of the worst looking glasses I have ever seen in my life. I'm disgusted and I want a refund immediately and I'm going to be contacting them today. Just terrible smiled in my face to get a sale and stabbed me behind my back with glasses that make me look like a reject from the movie Nerds.

I've gone here for 10+ years, I will NEVER return to this location…read more The eye doctor was AWFUL. Truly one of the rudest medical professionals I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. She made huge assumptions about my disabilities and body, made cruel comments about by wheelchair and shamed me throughout our entire appointment. I would not wish this doctor on my worst enemy and I will be telling everyone I know who wears or needs glasses to stay FAR FAR away from your establishment. I noticed a plus size assistant in the office and I can only imagine the way that poor women gets spoken to on a daily basis from this eye doctor. Disgraceful mean girl energy from top to bottom, my husband was surprised I didn't tell her about herself on the spot but I was trying not to match how absolutely RUDE this woman was.

I've been coming to America's Best in Abington for several years now. While I wouldn't consider my…read moremost recent visit to be problematic, I truly believe the employees here should be exhibiting more professional behavior. I was seen at my scheduled appointment time. The eye doctor appeared to have been doing more than just her job, which was fine. She asked me to have a seat in the pre-exam room before we went into the exam room. She casually mentioned that a few staff members were absent, hence why she was doing various things. Completely understandable. She was very kind and polite through the whole visit and listened to my concerns in the exam room. What I didn't agree with were the employees at the front desks loudly discussing the multiple call outs that day, who is reliable, who isn't, who works hard, who slacks off, etc. I've been in customer service before so I can understand the frustration, but this is NOT the conversation you want to be having while there are clients in the store. I was trying to browse some eyeglass styles and this is all I heard in the background. These types of conversations should be kept private or should be discussed when the store is empty. It was a little off putting to witness this. Needless to say, I sat down with a gentleman (possibly a manager) at the desk to order a pair of trial contact lenses. He ordered them and printed my receipt but didn't engage in any sort of conversation with me. He just seemed annoyed by the people who missed work that day. This is my preferred location for eye exams. My hope is that the employees receive feedback about when to keep conversations private, or the team hires more individuals to keep operations running smoothly.

I had to follow-up on numerous occasions because it was taking a long time to get my glasses. In the last few months (2026) the glasses stop functioning correctly. During my visit in the area, I took the glasses to the store to address the issue. He wrote down the glasses information and told me that he would call me after contacting his representative with Rayban. That never happened. Today, September 26, 2026 around 2:15pm, I visited the store to address the owner face to face regarding my concerns. He never accepted responsibility for not calling me and did not seek to resolve the matter. He was rather arrogant and told me that I can contact Rayban myself. I asked for the number and he provided it to me. I told him that I would voice my experience with others online and he responded that he would respond to the review. I then walked out. This is an example of business owners are good as they are making money but as soon as issues arise they run like cowards!
