I was told the nurse cancelled it, and then i was told i cancelled it then i was told the office called to cancel which was not true. Never received a call. My doctors office manager tried to fit me in. There was nothing available. I got an appointment for January. The best she could do. The second d problem was with my Wife. She had called because her primary doctor shut down her practice without notice. She contacted Baptist primary to see if she could see my primary. She was on the phone for. a half hour. She was told my primary was accepting new patients . When. we got to the office she was told that they called us to tell us that the doctor was not seeing new patients. Absolutely no coordination. They then gave me a list of Primary doctors a. accepting new patients. On the list was my Primary who I had used for years. before he passed away. plus my current primary who we were told is not seeing new patients. There definitely a problem.

However, someone at the intake desk scanned my insurance information wrong and as a result, I had to waste half an hour with someone in India reading from a canned script trying to correct the problem. Now, I understand call centers, but having a call center for your billing issues, especially when it is a problem on the institute's end for scanning the wrong insurance information, is about as unpleasant as getting your boobs squished in a cold machine to see if you have breast cancer. Please, Baptist, DO BETTER with your billing!

I came in for EKG, they said no, you are here to go over results (i guess i still have two charts) started to leave, they asked me to stay, 'fix things'. Ok, two chances 'we are only human'. I answered 'you are only in charge of my life'. One week later, they called to 'remind me' of an appointment i never made (lost my chart again?) . i told them i never made any appointment. When I arrived to my appointment, nobody told me Dr. Silva wasn't in the country. Typically if your Dr. is not in they call you to reschedule, they did not do this. I was not notified once I went to the appointment either that he wasn't there. The whole time I expect Dr. Silva. Once I'm in the room the nurse came in and once again, I'm expecting Dr. Silva to come in at some point. At the end the nurse tells me Dr. Silva is out of the country doing a conference. I called today 5/8/2026 and spoke for 45 minutes with 3 different people. One was Bella, a receptionist who told me there are 4 receptionist's. Bella contacted Dr. Silva's clients on her list prior to their visit to give them the option to reschedule. I was never offered this courtesy by the receptionist who took my appointment. She said I was not on her list, it must be another receptionist who took my appointment and that the Dr. Silva actually had an emergency with his wife and that's why he wasn't in. This is a lie. I provided a screen shot of his Instagram showing him giving a conference. Lillian another employee then gets on the phone and says I can only be given a telehealth for Monday or Wednesday, that's all she would do. They will not offer me any refund. She says and I quote "I know everything, you saw a registered nurse and this qualifies as a visit". I told her this was my first visit and after my experience I would just like a refund. They hung up on me.
