This is one doctor I would most definitely not recommend to anyone. I hired him to be my concierge…read moredoctor and on two occasions when I had serious issues he was very rude and uncaring and unprofessional. The first was when I had my eye turned red and I couldn't see I called him and he said oh call an ophthalmologist tomorrow. The second incident was more serious I woke up and the room was spinning and I was very dizzy and I called him at 8:30 in the morning he was very rude and very abrupt and told me-I will have the office call you when they open and they will probably have you get some exercises to do I spoke as quickly as I could because he was rushing me off the phone and reminded him that I had an MRI a few months ago and there was a small tumor in my ear he "said no that wouldn't be it. " At 9:15 his office called and told me they could see me at 3:30 I said I can't wait till 330 I'm so dizzy can't you get me in sooner and the response was no we can't do anything better than that but be careful when you walk be sure and hold onto someone is what I was told. Needless to say I had to go and see another doctor they could see me immediately that was not a concierge doctor that I paid $1900 for the year. This doctor was good years ago and he is not conscientious now at all and should not be seeing patients he is uncaring and his staff is also very uncaring and rude

When I first contacted Dr Reznick, it was for a interview only. I had recently moved to Boca Raton,…read moreand was dismayed by the patient load that most all of the doctors had. Once I thought about it, it was perfectly reasonable to have a large patient load in an area with such a high concentration of older folks. It's just a fact of life that older people have more stuff wrong with them than their younger counterparts, and there are simply not enough doctors (especially internists) to go around: ergo long waits both for appointment times and in their offices. My first meeting with Dr. Reznick was both pleasant and informative. He explained the concept of "concierge" medicine: to wit if you charge an upfront fee, you can limit your patient load accordingly and therefore carry a lighter patient load. In this way you can give the patients you do have much more expedient and intensive care. I didn't sign up with Dr Reznick at that time because as I said "I'm really not that sick (or old) and I didn't want to pay for something I wasn't going to use very often" Well, several months later, I did get really sick, and I immediately signed up with Dr. Resnick's practice because I felt I needed an interested and competent "quarterback" to help me through what turned out to be kidney cancer. I came though that operation fine and a subsequent one for a different reason at well. Sometime thereafter I developed hypertension, and he was there for me with compassionate, same-day service. So to sum it up I highly recommend this doctor and his practice. In the last few years I have encountered several medical conditions that I never had to deal with as a younger guy. I feel very confident that I am getting the Best medical care available. His staff is competent, efficient and understanding. He is a caring, competent professional, and the practice is the best I have ever used.

From my perspective, it is how a business owner and his or her staff handled such a situation, that directly affects how I rate them. This is a case of such high respect and understanding after sharing my views, that I want you all to know, that it's a wonderful place to go and have your veins analyzed. Step 1: My first recommendation is to start with the complementary meet and greet. (A short appt to decide if you and the being clinic are good fits for each other... (plus it's no obligation) Next, I highly recommend and was thrilled to have Mr Roberto to be my Ultrasound Technician for the Vein Analysis. This was easy and fun. We spoke about life and why I may be experiencing some symptoms of Venous Insufficiency. (Affects about 40% of the population) I didn't get to meet Dr S, but I saw him working in a room. He appears to be a nice fellow. Things to improve: I did wait in the waiting room for an hour past my appointment time. Said appt was made that morning. (So maybe they were over booked) Lastly, DO absolutely make sure they accept your insurance as treatments are not inexpensive when you require them. (often, it may take several visits, post analysis) Mine would be $1500 a visit, Times 3 visits... If you are to be a cash patient, DO ask how much things cost if needed, so you can make the informed decision to take Step 2. Step 3, The office cash visit is $180 and the ultrasound is $250. The facility is clean and nicely laid out. The vibe is chill and friendly. I'd recommend a visit if you need any of the services offered. Always ask questions upfront. Thai place is medical, not so much for cosmetic purposes! The front desk staff are really nice too! And if you run into any glitches, ask for the office/business manager and she will help to resolve any matters upsetting you as she did with me. Many blessings!

Dr Bruzzo herself told my husband and I back at the end of 2011 that she was no longer accepting…read moreinsurance as of 2012 and was going VIP Concierge only and it was $1500 a year. Her reason for this was she was going from 3000 patients down to 300 patients (this number could have been 4000 down to 400, I honestly am not sure whether it was 3000 to 300 or 4000 to 400 but it was one of those) to be able to give the level of care she wanted to. We have been doing that since 2012 because we liked her, we liked the idea, and we thought it would be wonderful. No more waiting, get in an out of the Doctors office etc. Great concept. I used to have Humana and Dr. Bruzzo did not bill my insurance company at all from 2012-2014 , at which point I had a $10,000 deductible, which she was aware of. In 2015 my husband got a new job and we now have new insurance company with a significantly lower deductible. When I went to see her in March 2015 she charged my credit card for the 1/2 year concierge fee of $750.00 AND billed my insurance company as well, which BCBS paid her. I called and asked the office manager at Dr. Bruzzo's to credit my VISA since she is now accepting insurance, she replied "We do not accept insurance honey, we only billed them to help you make your deductible" the office manager even stated this on a recorded phone call with Visa. Then on a separate recorded phone call that Visa had made on my behalf to Dr. Bruzzo since they would not refund my money, Dr. Bruzzo stated that the money I paid to her is specifically for a VIP Concierge service only, and that they do in fact accept insurance for office visits. If you google definition of "Concierge medicine" it clearly states that it a fee paid to the doctor for services. And the Dr Bruzzo website clearly states they are doing concierge only. Why on earth would anyone want to pay $1500 a year if they are accepting insurance? Mine and my husbands visits have always been over an hour wait. Except for the very first visit in 2012 when she switched to this new "Concierge" plan. But we were waiting over an hour ?? Does not sound very VIP-ish to me. I had to call and dispute through Visa (I only got a partial refund as Dr. Bruzzo stated this was a yearly fee and I owed her for the 1st quarter : during which I did not call or see her during this 1st quarter) After my insurance payed her, and I payed her, she sent my husband a text that I would have to find a new DR quickly because she was canceling my prescriptions for my Thyroid medication and blood pressure medication. So after essentially paying her twice for a single visit, I still had to go to another DR to do another physical so I could get my thyroid and blood pressure meds. Dr. Bruzzo then tried to say that it is common practice if you leave a Dr office that they cancel any prescriptions they wrote out. Well if you are going to cancel the prescription that you just wrote out for a 6 months supply during the office visit that she got paid for twice, she should return the money for the office visit to myself and BCBS. This is blood pressure and thyroid meds. Not oxycotton we are talking about here. By billing the insurance company on top of me paying her for concierge is 100% unethical in my opinion and the reason I left her practice. Even her own website states she converted to "concierge medicine" therefor she should have never billed BCBS. I am glad I no longer have to be called "honey" whenever I have to deal with the office staff.
