With all the great reviews Koteewi has had so far, we were really looking forward to our first visit. Unfortunately, we were a bit disappointed. When we arrived, we walked into the shop area and it took a few minutes to be greeted. No big deal, but after we were greeted, some other staff members began to arrive and the individual that greeted us began chatting with them. We stood there for a solid five minutes while they chatted, completely ignoring our presence. It was extremely awkward. In addition to this, not ONE of the staff members was wearing a mask even though there is a statewide mandate. I felt very uncomfortable interacting with them because of this. When we were given our rental bow and arrows, we were escorted outside to the range where we were given kind of a half-a**ed shooting lesson. Though I am pretty experienced with archery, I was there with individuals who were not. I wish that they would have taken a bit more time for the lesson as I feel like I spent 10 minutes afterwards demonstrating for others how to correctly hold the bow and shoot. Once we got past the beginning, the rest of our experience here was great! We had a fun time playing various games with the targets and pretending to 'hunt game' with the fake dinosaurs and other various animals. Overall, this archery range is great for the price if you aren't worried about catching Covid-19 from the staff and you watch a few tutorial videos before stopping by. Pro-Tip: Don't come in the winter like we did! The range is all outdoors so your hands may get a little numb in the winter months of the year. If you do come then, make sure to layer up and bring gloves so you can feel your fingers to shoot! read more

Who knew you could work on becoming Katniss in Indy's own backyard? This archery facility in Noblesville offers the bows, arrows, instruction and targets for people of any age. The facility itself is new, nice and clean, and boasts lots of parking. It was only $15 total to rent TWO bows, one bucket of arrows, and have an hour of range time. Such a fun afternoon activity. This place is open during the winter, but make sure you bring gloves, as the colder your hands get, the harder it is to release the string! The archery range has practice/beginner targets, foam animal targets, bullseye targets, and long-range targets. There's something here for everyone to come and have a good time - beginners and experts alike. Cool family experience learning how to use a bow and arrow. The staff member that helped us out took his time to explain and demonstrate what we needed to do. Had never heard of this place, found them on groupon, and I'm sure glad I did. It was an amazing experience for a great price. There are other activities offered on the property, such as horseback riding. I wish we knew about what else they had to offer before we went because we would have loved to do more. I guess that gives us another reason to go back. As soon as you drive up you can tell everything has been built within the past couple years. Its very appealing to the eye. They had great signage which made navigating the property very easy. Also lots of parking. As soon as we walked into the archery building we were amazed. we had no idea there was so much to archery lol The range offers multiple sections. each area increases with skill level. You aren't limited to challenging yourself on the other sections. One of the workers gave us a quick lesson on how to shoot as well as range ettiquite. They also offer for group parties. There was a kids party going on while we were there. They have a cute kids section with animal targets and BIG foot! would love to come back out here. read more

So fun! My only prior experience with archery was in high school gym class when I couldn't get my arrow to go more than three feet (ha!) - and this time proved much better. Tony & David run a great operation - they are down to earth and make the sport approachable but you can tell by the equipment in the store that advanced archers come here, too. In ten minutes, we had learned the basics of bows and arrows, getting set, establishing a grip and letting it rip. After a couple shots, I found it thrilling and even hit the targets a few times! The key is going slow and setting your sights on your target. Beyond the fun zone with bullseye bags and foam animals, there are two Olympic size ranges (80 feet distances) for the big dawgs. There are also foam animal targets along a 1.5 mile loop through the woods to take your skills to the trails. Great and unique experience to try your hand at a new sport! the first time we went I had taken my son this was a couple years ago. He had gotten a bow for his birthday and wanted to shoot it. We went I did not have one and just sat and watched him. He had a blast. I decided after sitting there for 2 hours I wasn't going back without my own archery equipment. I had purchased a used off someone at work. The shop checked it all out for me and gave me advice on what to look at before I purchased a used now. We have since became frequent visitors of the facilities. Both of my sons have their own equipment and these guys continue to help us along the way. Prices are reasonable, Service is exceptional. We had a birthday party there and the staff was amazing with nearly 20 kids and a few adults they kept everyone safe and all the kids had a great time. read more

Absolutely love this place! No matter what your skill level may be, you will still have a great time! This outdoor archery range is out in the country, but not too far from away from the downtown Noblesville area. I visited late fall/early winter when it was a little chilly out, but as long as you wear layers you'll be just fine. The range was so incredibly peaceful and the staff is very helpful. The other range visitors are very respectful and communicate well to make sure every has a safe experience. There are several types of targets you can use at various distances, so it's easy to work your way up to a more difficult target. read more

This place is so much fun!!! This was our first time trying archery and the staff here were super friendly and helpful. The thing I liked is they let you have a great time without bugging you. It's similar to a golf driving range but with bows and arrows, you can rent equipment for $15 or bring your own... The range was great, with targets but also foam dinosaurs and animals you can shoot at. A great experience, and not at all dangerous as they take safety seriously. read more

What an amazing amount of fun! Very laid back atmosphere. Went with a group of friends. The fee is very reasonable. None of us had ever done any kind of bow shooting and we received very hands-on instruction. It was so much fun and very competitive trying to get the targets. The section with dinosaurs really made me laugh and I can't wait until my little one is old enough to go someday. We heard about Koteewi from an article in the Star and decided to take the trip up to Noblesville to check it out. My wife, myself and my two girls ( 8 and 11) went to the range. We have almost no experience with shooting bows, but the gentleman at the range took his time with all of us and made sure we understood the rules, safety measures and of course how to shoot a bow. My girls did bore of the first range quickly which was close targets, because they could see the 3D range with the Sasquatch target. Everyone had a great time and would definitely go back! read more
