I just checked with Michigan roofing codes and there is no such change in layers. Double layer is acceptable in all Michigan cities. I also checked Go To Roofing for verbiage. Posted on their site shows they do double layer roofing. I don't like being conned. I believed rep as being trustworthy. I did have an option but it wasn't given to me. I called roofing due to possible leak in upstairs back bedroom.

I stopped by and asked if they had a chance to look/had an estimate ready. The man working/owner Clarke didn't even know my car was there. They did not have an estimate ready either. He told me my car was totalled but wouldn't give me any details. He then turned to the next person to have a personal discussion in the middle of this. I had to interrupt to ask again for an estimate or any information for that matter. He let his own personal experiences with insurance companies dictate how I was treated. He told me he doesn't need my business and shooed me away like a fly. He also told me that he refuses to call insurance companies back because he feels it's an "insult to his intelligence" on pricing. If you have Progressive, steer clear. I will say his wife, Kathy, who was also working the office at the time, was very nice and helpful and did apologize on his behalf. But here I am two weeks into trying to get my car fixed and I get to start all over. Thanks Franklins!

Getting the parts took awhile but they ordered it directly after I approved the quote while I sat there. Manufacturing and shipping delays are NOT their fault at all. I see a lot of reviews all over the internet where people are faulting service companies for long wait times but just know that they are probably just as frustrated as you are and they have NO control over the current situation of the supply chain.
