I adore this place but the service really depends on which server you get!! The Korean girl is so nice and goes above and beyond to make your meal the best it can be. The meal was surprisingly very Korean for a restaurant in the middle of the Montparnasse area. (But please, the location does not give you the right to put the chopsticks we eat with in your hair like the girl who was dining next to us!!)
I also think the prices here are good. Their set menus which come with rice, side dishes, and a portion of meat range from 16 to 24€. You can pay an additional fee to get better quality meat. The beef quality is good, no matter what meat you get, and the sauce you get for dipping is really delicious. There were six different side dishes, including real Korean kimchi. Because they were doing a promotion, we each got two gyozas each. Yum!!
My boyfriend who eats a ton found the meat servings here big. For an additional 5€, you can get a hot stone bowl of bibim bap with a fried egg. The serve even mixes it for you.
If you are lucky enough to get the Korean server, she will mix it and put it in an organized mountain of rice. It's really hard to describe but it's a work of art what she does. But I agree with some reviewers that the portion of rice is small. My boyfriend had to order an additional bowl for 2€.
The desserts are pricey, starting at 5€. Our meal for two with bibimbap each and a dessert to split came to 68€. The reason they don't get five stars is because the Chinese server was not as attentive as the Korean one. I also think this place is understaffed when they get busy. read more
