Houston Galaxy Halloween is a decent Halloween shop with plenty of parking. They have a huge…read moreselection of costumes, masks, accessories, and decor. The pricing was comparable to Spirit Halloween, cheaper in some areas and a tad bit more expensive in others, but reasonable. My biggest takeaway, however, was that we were being followed throughout the store. I was with my mom and husband so it felt humiliating, especially because they have cameras in the store. We were looking at plastic animal skeletons and two employees came over pretending to look through stock and kept watching us. Then the owner, I believe, came up to talk to us. Now, all the staff are nice and helpful and the owner was so sweet, but I didn't like being followed around the store because I kept looking at the employees eyeing us in the aisles which looks suspicious of course. I did buy a skeleton bear but because of that entire visit, I won't be coming back. I've been stalked before and definitely don't like it when I'm shopping.

The worst experience thus far. I purchased 2 costumes for my children on 10/30/2025 in the amount…read moreof $143.95. My card was charged 3 different times for the same amount totaling $431.85 for 2 children costumes. I called the store and spoke to Larry Jones who assured me my card would be refunded the following day. When it was not refunded, I went back to the store and spoke to him in person, and also had to exchange my costumes because one defective and the other was missing parts. Mr. Jones asked me to give the refund until Tuesday of the following week which I did. As of today, 11/24/2025, I still have not received my refund, and they are no longer answering my calls or responding to my messages. I had to file a dispute with my bank, and it is going to take until February of 2026 for the claim to be finalized. So, I will not receive my refund until next year. Terrible experience. Terrible customer service.

No used car salesmen here - if they don't like it as much, then they have no problem telling you (if you ask).

You have to spend it all on fireworks or you can't keep any of it, then I could buy everything I want! If you love fireworks like me, this is the place. Don't buy these fireworks. THEY ARE FUCKING HORRIBLE. I started coming here whenever they first…read moreopened and they have been disappointing to say the least. To get a good picture I usually buy around 400 dollars worth of fireworks because I like to put on a show for my friends and family. But these fireworks piss me off they are always either duds and not explode, they don't go for very long or they are just disappointing in the way they look. Which is very odd since the place where we bought them actually showed me a video of what they are supposed to look like. BUT THE WORST actually happened on New Years where I spend more than 100 dollars on a single firework that was supposed to look amazing and what ended up happening was that I lit up the firework and my family, friends and I were waiting to see it. I REGRETTED IT. Because as soon as the fuse reached the firework instead of it going up in the air it was going ALL OVER THE PLACE. and i wasn't a single shot it was a constant shot that had 18 in it. Everyone RAN FOR COVER since the firework was going all over the place hitting my house, the trees, and scary enough even my car. It went on for a while. Everyone was terrified and to make matters worse THERE WERE CHILDREN THERE 2 years olds. What made it even more horrible was that I live on a ranch and we have a barn. One of the fireworks ACTUALLY WENT INSIDE THE BARN AND WAS CATCHING ON FIRE. Thankfully we put out the fire before it completely burned down the barn. THERE WAS CANISTERS OF GASOLINE INSIDE. after that insistent I thought that the problem was that I didn't place it right. But when I inspected the box I saw that the fire work had actually made holes on the box as if they were not secured and they just went everywhere. I will NEVER buy fireworks from here again and I recommend NO ONE TO BUY THESE. They are horrible, cheaply made, and expensive. They are not worth the price at all. FUCK this place.
