I wondered how they were going to use all that space, but when you walk in, they have draped off a big part of the former grocery store and it now it has all your costumes and scary accessories and machines you could want. I love love love Halloween and I love finding great quality costumes. So with a lot of patience and a keen eye, I grabbed a few costumes to try on. Here's the skinny on trying on costumes. Walk straight back to the store and on the right, you'll see the fitting room attendant. They will open each costume from it's bag, one at a time and hand you just the 1 costume (without accessories) for you to try on. I understand this is to maintain the integrity of the bagged accessories. The only problem is that if you're trying multiple costumes you have to come out (preferable dressed, I'm supposing) to turn in 1, to get the next. So, well, this could get tedious. But with such friendly and helpful staff, you'll have buckets of patience. They will even help you look for alternate costumes if you don't like the material, fit, etc. All in all, I did walk away happy with an awesome Sexy Pirate costume. Because, you never know, I might be able to wear this at the next Yelp Event ;) Arrgh, Who Yelps There?!

More than 680 park guests enjoyed Anna & Elsa, Captain America, Face Painter, and Balloon Artist at the event. The staff was very professional. Kids loved taking photos with the characters. The balloon artist and face painter were huge hits and served hundreds of children. We look forward to having more characters out for our Christmas Celebration and future events!!

On the day of my party, Mickey started late, could barely see out of the costume, was inaudible, and completely unable to engage the children. When I look back at the video footage, I get even angrier at the lack of energy that Mickey displayed at my son's birthday. Mickey didn't even stay for the full hour. The children were bored and uninterested. To make matters worse, Pam called me the night before the party to see if MY husband could buy batteries for HER stereo. Turns out my venue had outlets, but it didn't matter because the stereo did NOT work plugged in.
