We hired this man from recommendation on Angi's that he was a "pro," but after our project was completed after months of work from him, it was obvious at the start that he had no clue about what he was doing. During the first visit to be work, the coating started bubbling, but he continued to add product. The second visit, he recoated the areas involved, and again, the coating bubbled. During the third visit he came out with a concrete thermometer and, sure enough, it registered that the surface was way too hot to work on.
We didn't try to rush the project and during this job, he asked for additional money to purchase more product to complete the job. After six-seven months of him waiting for the concrete to be cooler, he came out a final time to address the remainder of the missing, bubbling that had popped) coating on the concrete. He also promised to remove the coating that had splattered on our vinyl siding. I specifically asked him to recoat the back porch, which he totally ignored. I have pictures of all the problem areas that have worsened, but I don't see a way to post them.
Now, after cleaning both porches, I have missing coating, vinyl siding that has splattered coating (our home is less than 3 years old) and I'm trying to contact someone with Angi with now 2 hours on hold, because I need help.
I reached out to this contractor to explain the issues and he said"I'm not going to put any more effort or coating on this job.". He refused to come out and make things right, so now, I'm facing missing coating on a very EXPENSIVE job that went way over the estimated cost, and this guy refuses to address the quality of his work. Do not make the mistake that we made by hiring him!
Angi's is a very low quality company that supposedly guarantees the work of their "pros.". I am still trying to reach them without success and it's taking way too much time to get help from them. read more
