What a great find! Both the owners and the accommodations were delightful! They were so welcoming-- greeting us with candy at check-in and a tour of the property and amenities. The rooms are newly renovated and very comfortable. Smart TV with Netflix, etc. Free wi-fi. Full kitchenette with stove top, fridge, microwave/convection/air fryer, coffee maker. There is a nice size pool and hot tub, plus a tiki bar for complimentary cocktails. Complimentary light breakfast options (fruit, danishes, coffee, tea) available. There is also a little putting green. Location on the intercoastal waterway makes for a nice view at the pool. Great price. Would definitely stay here again!

We recently stayed at the Kon Tiki Inn for a one night stay, and it was wonderful! It is newly renovated and everything is so clean and so nice. Our room was exactly what we wanted. It felt more like a studio apartment than a hotel room. The pool was very nice as well. We loved it so much we bought a Kon Tiki Inn t-shirt in the front office! Would rate it 11/10 stars if I could. It's a hidden gem!

We came for the beautiful beaches during spring break. We arrived around 10:30 at night. The desk…read moreclerk was friendly and efficient. While I finished checking in, my husband took the room key, moved the car to the side entrance and attempted to use the key pad to unlock the outside door. Not only was the keypad broken, but the door had tape over the locking mechanism thereby leaving the door unlocked 24 hours. The front desk clerk reassured us that no one came in other than guests. However, there was a man in a hooded sweatshirt outside the door smoking marijuana. The interior of the room was fairly clean but a bit shabby. The mini fridge was missing the freezer door, had a crack in the bottom, and a spot of rust outside. The bedside table had a leg that looked like a dog chewed it. The window was too dirty to see out. The shower had great water pressure with abundant hot water. The unlocked exterior door became a serious problem on the second night when rain apparently forced the marijuana smoker to move inside the building. Due to the large gaps around the door, we ended up stuffing towels under the door to stop the pungent smoke since I'm allergic to marijuana. The breakfast was fairly good. Scrambled eggs and bacon on the first day and cheese omelets and sausage the next. Waffles, yogurt, cereals, and pastries as well. My husband said the coffee was bitter but they also had Lipton Tea. Both days the breakfast attendants were friendly and constantly cleaning and refreshing the area. When we checked out I spoke with the front desk clerk about the door and marijuana. She stated the "shield " was supposed to be removed at night to make the door lock. Final recommendation- all of the staff we interacted with were amazing and professional. However, the building maintenance means we will find another location next time.

Staff is lovely and welcoming. The grounds and pool are well maintained. We were very pleased with our spacious immaculate 2nd story poolside room. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. The mini frig/freezer was oversized so I was able to store all my waters, protein drinks and fruit. We were very impressed with the daily complementary breakfast. They put out a generous spread . Gary works so hard to make sure all the quests are very satisfied. Joe and I had wonderful conversations with Gary and breakfast quests each morning. Really appreciated you Gary and it was a pleasure to get to know you! You are such an asset to this establishment. I highly recommend Best Western!

I stayed here for two nights and unfortunately had a very concerning experience with cleanliness…read moreand maintenance. The bathroom had visible black mold, including around the AC unit, and the air vents were heavily clogged with dust and debris. The walls, especially in the bathroom, had noticeable streaking and buildup. The shower fixture was loose and appeared to be leaking into the wall. The vent in the wall was covered by cardboard and there was a dead cockroach sticking to it. The floors were extremely dirty--after walking barefoot for just a few minutes, my feet were black from dirt. What was most concerning is that this did not appear to be an isolated issue. A guest staying a couple doors down told me she was dealing with the same conditions and allowed me to see her room, which had similar problems. At checkout, another guest overheard my complaint and mentioned "black mold in the bathroom" as well. When I brought this to the front desk, I was not given clear assistance or direct access to management, and the issue was not resolved during my stay. Not only was I treated with disrespect from the front desk staff but when I asked for the manager she refused to give me any information other than their business card. I wrote a long email and sent it to the address that was on the card and my email was sent back to me and said there was no email address of this name. I documented the conditions and would strongly recommend that management address these issues immediately, as they may pose health concerns--especially for anyone with respiratory sensitivities.

This family-run business has three different properties on both sides of Casey Key Road. Our unit in the Old Florida section was steps to the beach on the Gulf and our friends' unit was in the Dockside Villas on the Intercoastal Inlet. There is also a New section a few door down on the beach. The units are perfectly appointed in every detail. Some examples of the details include small flashlights on the key rings, lights over the barbecue grill and recycle/trash barrels, handmade soap at the sinks and every kitchen tool we might need. Our Old Florida unit is the smallest, a studio with a kitchen yet it had a beautifully painted mural on the length of the unit, a couch and a very cool honeymoon table for two (the chairs nestled in under the table to save space). Every convenience was provided in the kitchen and the bathroom sink had a grass skirt! The owners are delightful and very knowledgeable about the local restaurants and sights. Their office has a small gift nook with items made by local crafts people.
