General Notes: - There is no countdown/time tracking in the…read moreroom, which I did not mind. In fact I felt more immersed and it was fun to have absolutely no concept of time. - My friends and I did the "Hex of the Chinese Jewelry Box" room. We found this one to be very scavenger-hunt-esque of finding codes, keys, and objects. Few puzzles. - Cheaper on week day than weekend, at least from what I was able to discern from online booking. Cheaper tickets if you book with more people ($50 if less than 6, $45 if 6 for "Hex of the Chinese Jewelry Box" on a Saturday). With the fees, the $45 price is $49, so essentially it's $50 even for the cheaper group fare on a weekend. Pros: For at least the "Hex of the Chinese Jewelry Box", there were multiple rooms to run around in, which was fun and had more space for the 6 of us (vs. one main room). Cons: - There is a host but they go over general rules before entering the room. Once it starts, firstly the main door was kept ajar the whole game, which made it feel less immersive and I'm not sure if that was a mistake or not on the host's part. - There was an introduction audio once we began but it was barely audible to any of us so no one had any idea what was being said. It was the context to the game, and by the end of the game (don't worry, no spoilers) but we were confused if we solved it because we missed the context and the "objective" of what we were doing in the room. - Dim lighting which didn't personally hinder our experience, but I can assume that those with vision impairment could have a more difficult time I would come again if I can book with the cheaper fare and if I confirm there are more puzzles involved in the other rooms.

Oh did it live up more than I had expected that in turn it got me too in a way. Done so many escape rooms and I'll say this was very interactive and well done and designed. Highly recommend doing this but we all had an amazing time here! 10/10 !

This is probably one of my favorite horror movies so I had very high expectations. They did not let me down. Such an interactive room. Everything decorated down to the tiniest detail, I LOVED the Easter egg nods to the movie that they put in the room. It was creepy, challenging, and the best part was that we escaped! So I was able to see all parts to this room before leaving. Booked a second room when we left. Can't wait to go back!! Suicide Hotel room= Amazing! Very detailed with 1408 Easter eggs everywhere. Escaped. 7 Sinful Pleasures= Hysterical and fun. Escaped. Saint Angelo's Castle= Not my favorite of their rooms thus far. Seemed far less interactive than the previous rooms, not as many puzzles to get out, distracted/inattentive game master, super dark leading to frustration and wasted time. Escaped. **One major complaint of this place: the hints. It seems to take forever to get the attention of the people who are supposed to be watching your game progression. We tried to contact the game master during Saint Angelo's Castle so many times. After no recognition, and then calling out only to realize there was no audio for her to hear us, we resorted to waving our arms around in front of the camera to get any sort of attention. The hints are also not hints in this room, they're merely canned pre-recorded responses. Every time we requested a hint, a recording would come on telling us to do something we had already figured out. It was clear no one was watching our game closely to provide us with anything helpful.

So much fun! I went for an office event and my team went to the Bloody Circus room. As a horror…read morefan, I appreciated the immersive details for this room. Lots of fake blood, creepy clowns, and even some jump scares built in. Definitely use your brain and think outside the box!! The puzzles were really unique. The only feedback I have is some of the puzzles were a bit wonky probably because a lot of people have been touching them so there are things that should be tuned up or fixed. Trying not to spoil so I'll try to be as vague as I can while giving feedback. So there's one puzzle where you have to smell things but everything smelled like the same rotten/rancid smell so my team members and I content differentiate the scents and had to randomly guess instead of actually solving the puzzle. There's another puzzle where you have to turn something but it was wonky from wear and tear and the tracks on them were worn down. Paul was our game master, and did a great job. He also said this room was the hardest one and the scariest one out of them all.

The commitment to the theme is impressive and consistent throughout. Some of the clues are definitely challenging and occasionally a bit unclear, but the overall atmosphere and storytelling make up for it. I've done both the Haunted Hotel and the Jail rooms, and both delivered a memorable, immersive experience.
