I told them what I was looking for and they layed out a bunch of the 14k solid gold charms! I was looking for something to get my mom and I thought this adorable butterfly would be perfect!! Honestly, they had a decent selection of charms so it was really hard to pick. But the ladies helped guide me to choose the best one according to what I think is my mom's taste haha. Overall, Lovely shop, amazing ladies, and cute jewelry!! I would highly recommend coming here if you are looking for a good piece! Also, if you were wondering they do make CUSTOM jewelry!! We got permanent bracelets to commemorate a girl's trip! They're gold filled and customized to fit our wrists. I really wanted to get their solid gold ones but they were waiting on getting those in. I watched HiNow where they featured "Fleurings" earrings and pendant that carries water. You dip it in water and insert a live flower that could last all day so you can enjoy smelling the sweet fragrance. It's like wearing a tiny vase next to the sides of your face or a tiny vase on your chest...what an awesome idea! It was mentioned that these were available here at Kolohe. Looked them up on Yelp and found they have 2 locations...1 on Lewers Street and the other in Alohilani Resort located on Kalakaua Ave. so decided to check it out! I called just as we entered Waikiki to ask where they were located and spoke to Dam-Bee who works at the Lewers location and gave me directions that was easy to follow. I asked about the parking since my husband and our dogs were going to wait for me in the car. She informed me that people/delivery vehicles have parked right outside their store on Lewers with their hazard lights. There was a delivery van with hazard lights on so we pulled up behind it. When I walked in, Dam-Bee kind of knew it was me that she spoke to. She showed me the Fleurings earrings that comes in silver, gold, pink and black with either brushed or polished finish. I knew I wanted the brushed finish because I felt you could see the smear/finger print marks on the polished one. I did ask if these would tarnish since it's not made of gold and she assured me it won't. She help me decide what color I should buy for my daughter so I picked the brushed gold. She added the earrings and a personal card with my daughter's name on it in a nice Fleurings box then into a nice Kolohe gift bag...classy! Dam-Bee rang me up and I was out the door in less than 20 minutes...thumbs up! Just wanted to mention...this place is not that big but I liked their glass display cases and the display on the wall...again, classy! Also wanted to mention that Dam-Bee and the other girl she was working with was sooooo nice! It makes you want to come back so, if my daughter likes her earrings and receives a lot of compliments, I might be back for the pendant if she wants it! read more

10/10 unique and fun experience! My boyfriend surprised me with this fun little craft on Valentines! The people working here were so helpful and patient with us as we decided what we wanted! It took us a few tries to stamp out fingers nicely but it was super easy. We even added engravings on the other side of our pendant as a surprise for each other! The back of one of our necklace engravings didn't come out too clear but when I messaged Kolohe they were so quick to help us fix it and it just looks amazing! I love Kolohe! I heard about them and love the idea of cute timeless pieces that do not tarnish when wet. I bought the Gold Figaro Chain Anklet and Gold Choker and Pearl Necklace Set. All easy to put on and off and the perfect size for my petite frame! The gold choker and pearl necklace were my favorite pieces. I got countless compliments. Imagine my pain when the pearl necklace broke. I'm grateful they had a 2 year warranty. I easily shipped it back to them and they sent it back in less than 2 weeks! I only had to pay for shipping which was $5. A few months later, I accidentally pulled to hard on the gold choker and it broke. I again easily shipped it back and they fixed it! I accidentally sent back both pieces, informed them, and they were so kind and comforting stating they'd send back both pieces. When they informed me they shipped them back, they told me they even untangled the choker and cleaned and polished both! I got them both back looking brand new. So I ended up sending off my permanent bracelets with a $5 shipping charge. They attached clasps to the bracelets, however after 3 weeks of wearing my bracelet, it broke off AGAIN. I asked customer service if I'd be able to get the bracelet permanently soldered again when I revisit Hawaii and they said I'd have to pay for that service.
