PROS: Fresh selection of tropical fruits CONS: ? Fresh rambutan, longan, soursop, coconuts, oranges, mini bananas... What more could you want from a fruit stand while vacationing in Kauai? Prices are a little high, but that's pretty much in line with everything on the island. read more

Nice little fruit stand. Conveniently locates at the Poipu area. Nice lady works there to chop up fresh coconuts

Charming fruit stand to stop by on your way to/from Poipu beach. We got some apple bananas, a young coconut ($5 each) and a mango for a quick snack. - Owner helped us to pick a mango and even peeled and cut the mango up for us. - She let us know that the coconuts were very young but was very juicy. Though there wasn't much meat, the fresh coconut water was fantastic! - I hadn't heard of the apple bananas until that same day and I am so glad I was able to try some in Kauai. They are slightly tart like a green apple but creamier than the usual banana. Bonus: owner's two friendly dogs welcomed us when we arrived. read more

My favorite fruit stand when I go to Kauai. The longans are huge and sweet, the pineapples are so good and the mangoes are the best! They also have veggies, eggs sometimes and fresh coconut that they will cut for you with a machete. Family owned, originally from Thailand , they are the nicest people. I don't buy my fruits anywhere else anymore when I visit the island. read more

They open later so it's best to go around lunch time. I went at 10am and they hadn't opened yet. read more

Amazing fresh fruits!! Mrs. Usa is so nice, she let us sample a bunch of exotic fruits, chopped up a coconut and told us to come back tomorrow for more selections, freshly picked by her husband. Try the rambutan (looks like a lychee with fiery spikes)! read more

Super friendly and helpful. Fruit was amazing. Best fruit stand we found In Kauai. Thank you for a delicious taste of Hawaii!

Stopped by in the afternoon and the owner helped us pick out fruit since we don't know when certain fruits are ripe. Not only are the prices amazing, but she picked out the best mango I've ever had in my life. read more

Love this family and their fresh seasonal produce. Different items available depending on the season and daily sales. Best to go earlier in the day for the most availability. read more

My favorite local fresh veggie and fruit stand in Kauai. The lady who runs it is super friendly.

Awesome little fruit stand with very fresh produce at pretty good price compared to other places we saw on Kauai. It's very easy to miss while driving by because they had no signs and the vegetation was so overgrown that you can't even see the hut until you turn into their driveway. Use yelp's directions and drive slowly when you're close so you don't miss it! read more

Fresh fruits and vegetables for reasonable price. My favorite are the fresh free range eggs! But they go fast! So get there early. We are regular return visitors at this fresh fruit stand. Friendly farmers and cute dogs too ! read more

She was so friendly! She lets us try fruits we had never heard and they were so tasty! We'll definitely be going again.

Found this fruit stand on yelp and from a local. We were there for a week so I purchased all my fruit and greens. The coconut was a treat watching her peel it and ready it for a delicious fresh coconut juice drink and used the meat to eat during our week. The papayas were very fresh and tasty too. read more

Yummy tasting tropical fruit, not to mention the super friendly and helpful lady! She patiently cut and sliced my pineapple for me. Mahalo

We stopped 3 times during our week-in Poipu. It opens at 11 or sometimes 1130 depending on Hawaii time. Great mangoes two for $7. Also fresh carrots, avacados... We couldn't get enough of the mangoes though. Can be difficult to find as it's not really on the map. Not far from Poipu road on Ala Kinoiki. read more

Good local Items like tropical fruits and purple sweet potatoes. Costco better prices on pineapples by 50percent read more

Loved this place. The owner was so kind, friendly, and very knowledgeable about the fruit. She picked the ripest, tastiest and sweetest fruit I've ever had. Must try the sugar hill pineapple. Takes as if sugar cane and pineapple had an offspring. The passion fruit was so succulent and sweet. The most interesting was the egg fruit. It was as if I was eating a sweet potato and sugar cheesecake. It was smooth, sweet, and absolutely delicious. I didn't know what to expect but after tasting it I couldn't get enough. It's worth the visit. read more

Fresh and cheap fruits straight from the farm! She was sooo sweet! Try the fresh coconut and she will cut it open after juice is finished!

The friendliest people you will ever meet. Delicious fresh produce and they help you find the ripe ones and ones for future days. They cut coconuts right in front of you and let you drink the water and take the meat to go. We went 3 times in a week at least! read more

After searching for this fruit stand we finally found it, and we were really happy we did. We arrived before stand was opened but called and owner said she was on her way. Boy was the wait worth it. Not only was everything fresh and looked great, but after getting back to our condo we almost ate everything we bought. It you want some of the freshest and priced right fruit, make sure you go. You will be happy you did. We've gone back twice now. read more

Was really excited to get a coconut and went there right at 11am when they open, these hours are advertised everywhere on their hut. However, no one was there and the stand was not open. We called them and no one picked up. Really reluctant to try again. Don't want to give someone my business who can't show up to work on time. Extremely disappointed. read more

This produce stand is on the west side of the Koloa Bypass Road (its official name is Ala Kinoiki), just north of Poipu Road. We were looking for a farmers' market or a fruit stand to augment our supply of under ripe fruit purchased yesterday at Big Save. As we drove along the bypass road toward Lihue this morning we noticed a sign indicating the stand was open. We figured if we still hadn't bought fruit by the time we finished our errands today it would be our fallback. After a multitude of stops, the last one at the Princeville Library, we checked Banana Joe's and discovered they would be closed until May 31. Heading south, we stopped at the Anahola Cafe, which promised a produce stand, but it wasn't yet open. There's a farmers' market today in Hanapepe, but we decided to try this fruit stand, which is closer to home for us. We arrived just before they were due to close at 4:00, followed by 3 other cars in quick succession. Our timing was perfect. Alan asked the proprietor of the stand for help in choosing ripe fruit and the man was extremely helpful. We came away w/ a pineapple, two papayas that will be ready tomorrow and a bunch of apple bananas. I can smell the pineapple from 10 feet away and look forward to it being part of our breakfast tomorrow. This was our first stop here, but I know it won't be our last. As far as I know, they don't have a phone or a website. It reminds me of our favorite produce stand here that closed in 2008, old school and down home. read more
