Most often, we are apprehensive about taking our vehicle in for any major repair and body repair is…read moreno exception to that repair experience. Yet, I had quite the opposite experience when it came to the body work and complete paint job on my car. I had done all my due diligence research, visited four different body repair shops for estimates and finally decided on this one, Uptown Custom Paint at 1424 N. Tryon St., Charlotte NC. My experience began with the office manager Chalon on my initial phone call, she was very polite and accommodating of my schedule. She informed me that Emery would be looking out for me since I was running close to or at their closing time and he was, just like she said he would be. I liked that honor of their word right from the start. Emery inspected my vehicle damage without rushing and took me inside to explain and write the estimate. He told me how long the repairs would take and contact them when I was ready, no pushy sales experience here. After evaluating all of my estimates and customer service I chose them and I am happy I did. Now for the completed repair review, I COULD NOT BE MORE PLEASED! My baby looks GREAT! I wish I had taken before and after pictures. The side rear panel (they called it something else) had been replaced, the bumper had been replaced, something under the back (again they spoke professionally and I don't recall the real names of parts) had been taken care of as well. But the paint job...AWESOME! AND it comes with a LIFE TIME warranty! The other shops paint job warranty was only 3 years. But even with all that said, the customer service was second to none. I chose the right place for the best experience and work, I encourage you to do the same. Fair, affordable and second to none repair skills and customer service. The first trip here was AMAZING & the car was flawless. If you want Sh*tty Window tint this is place for you…read more Don't get me wrong the person who guided me through the service was very respectable, he had excellent service and mannerism. But the person who did the actual tint didn't do it up to par. I don't like causing problems but when it's about things that I'm paying for , it's serious. I did not receive quality service or the service I asked for and I provided evidence. In the Agreement for tinting it never said no refunds, and I have the receipt. When I First got the window tinted he said it looks foggy and it will clear up, I waited a couple days and it looked horrible still. I asked if I can come in to redo them or I would want my money back and then he said he can't refund but he'll try to do it again, and it's not his fault if tint doesn't come out perfect, so then I said I'll wash the car or anything to make sure we get the best results. I showed up the next day and my appointment got cancelled 3 mins before my appointment at 8 am and it was very unprofessional. I came in the next day and wasn't greeted or anything, I felt rude energy and God knows I'm a man of good and don't let people energy affect me. When my tinting was redone he didn't show me the work, he just gave me the key and told me the car was outside and basically blocked me out from checking the vehicle and saying another complaint. So this time instead of going to them I took it to Capital One because that is unfair. Now I Have to pay someone else to redo them and remove the tint they installed because It was cheap quality. They even tried to reach out personally and kept calling my phone unprofessionally when they needed to call through the company phone number. They took my phone number from signed paper work and used it and that is illegal.
